WORST EXPERIENCE SHOPPING WITH SAMSUNG - Manufacturing defect and poor customer service
This has been the worst experience with ordering from samsung ireland, I preordered their new flagship S26 Ultra and received it on the 10th of march, i then noticed a speck on the lens of the back camera and shipped the phone back to exertis (this company handles samsung orders). First of all, for a new flagship to have a manufacturing defect is just so not reasonable, i am questioning if they do quality checks. There is also no proper samsung store in Ireland, that you can just go to, on top of it the customer service in exertis is just like going through a nightmare. It is 24th of March and i still don't have my replacement on me.
After they received the phone with the camera defect on 16th March, i told them to update my number when they dispatch the replacement and they said that they will do so, On 23rd march i asked samsung where the replacement is and that i have received no tracking ID from DPD Ireland.
Samsung gave me the DPD tracking ID, I went to check and it said that they already tried to deliver twice but couldn't reach out to me, I directly called dpd and found out that samsung never updated my number and all this while dpd was reaching out to the wrong number. I then got my number updated directly with dpd, today i reached out to dpd because the parcel wasn't out for delivery and it showed the status " your parcel is held at the depot", which mostly happens when they have attempted delivery but it failed or if the order has been refused. The customer representative gave out to me on the call saying they tried delivering twice and then i had to explain the whole situation with samsung and then they said that they don't know when the order will be delivered to me very bluntly.
Only making junk
Bought a Samsung flip 6. It last 8 months, I was told I used it too much ??? My friend bought the same phone at the same time and his is also broken.
Foolishly I then bought a S25 fe.i can honestly say it's the worst most unreliable phone I have ever owned. I can't wait to get rid of it. Junk
I'll never ever buy another Samsung product.

With. I bought a tv that advertised cash back
And they have done everything in their power to make sure they don’t give the cash back. They are the most difficult and dishonest company I have ever dealt with. I am
So sorry that I purchased from Samsung and never will again.
Do not buy Samsung
Do not buy Samsung. Our second washing machine broke 1 month after the warranty expired, even though we registered it in the Samsung app to extend it. Samsung is not accepting, as we need to be registered on the web, misleading information, as Samsung's website advertises the app for use. Log, sorry, short, bad quality products do not buy, save the money and the time. It's sad top model Samsung washing machine worth over 1k last as little like over 24 months 😡
Why should i pay to fix a problem that originated from Samsung own manufacturing fault?
Samsung Samsung Electronics Samsung Global
I’m extremely disappointed with the quality and service I received from Samsung.
I purchased a Samsung TV in November 2024 from Sharaf DG Dubai for almost USD 2,000. It was delivered in November 2024.
In December 2025, just about 12 months & 25 days after delivery, the TV suddenly developed a vertical line in the middle of the screen — with no damage, no impact, and no misuse. This clearly looks like a manufacturing defect.
I reported the issue on 23 December 2025 to both Sharaf DG and Samsung.
After a two‑month delay, Samsung finally contacted me in February — only to tell me the repair would cost (around AED 2,450) because its just 25 days after the warranty expired,.
Half the price of the TV… for a defect that appeared in just one year.
To make things worse, Samsung then offered me a trade‑in value of AED 30 for the defective TV.
Yes, USD 8 for a product I paid USD 2,000 for, which failed just after the first year.
This is unacceptable for a brand like Samsung.
We buy Samsung for reliability — not for a premium TV to fail within 12 months and then be told to pay half its price to repair it.
I feel completely let down and misled by this experience.
I request Samsung to take responsibility for what appears to be a manufacturing defect and provide a proper solution — either a full repair or a replacement.

I hope you take this matter seriously.
I participated in Samsung’s official…
I participated in Samsung’s official trade-in programme, which was handled by their third-party partner, MacroEV.
To the best of my knowledge, the device I sent was in pristine condition. It was always kept in a protective case, fully functional, and I did not observe any cracks or damage before shipping it.
I was later informed that the device allegedly had a crack; however, this assessment was communicated only after the 14-day return window for the new Samsung device had passed. This timing removed my ability to return the product once the trade-in value changed.
As a result, I felt pressured to pay an additional amount in order to complete the trade-in. While I understand inspections take time, the delayed communication and lack of transparency made the process stressful and unfair from a customer perspective.
I believe clearer timelines, faster assessments, and better communication are needed so customers can make informed decisions without losing their consumer rights.
Update: I also found the customer support experience extremely frustrating. I made multiple attempts to contact Samsung for clarification, but support chats repeatedly routed me to the UK team, who advised they could not handle Ireland trade-in cases. There was no clear email contact for the correct team, and I was passed between channels without resolution. This lack of accessible, country-specific support added significantly to the stress and made the situation feel like a lose-lose for the customer.
My Samsung Galaxy z Flip 6(bought on…
My Samsung Galaxy z Flip 6(bought on 30/08/2024) went frozen after software update ,I have contacted Samsung for advise ,I have performed all the steps advised, also factory reset 2 times, nothing fixed my phone problem, small screen is working perfect, big screen is frozen. At the end Samsung has booked a repair job for my phone, and surprise the repair company void my phone warranty for some minor scratches on the phone hinge, and they have asked me to pay 375 Euro for screen replacement, I have explained that the issue with the phone started since last software update and the phone was working perfectly with those scratches before the software update, but still warranty was void. My question is :Why Samsung give warranty 24 months for smart phones if they void this for any minor scratch on the device even if that scratch didn't affect the normal function of the phone. I am a Samsung devices user but unfortunately I was left very disappointed by this company. So be aware if you don't keep your device into a bubble you have 100% chances to loose the warranty and be asked to pay for the repair, even if is not your fault. One star is to much to give Samsung but unfortunately I can't go less.
Terrible customer service.
Terrible customer service.
Sent a repair guy that didn’t fix my machine.
Useless website the menus go in circles.
Buy something else.
Stay clear of the samsung Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot™ Combo Al+ 3-in-1 Cleaning VR7MD97714G/EU Robot Vacuum
I purchased the Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot™ Combo
Al+ 3-in-1 Cleaning
VR7MD97714G/EU Robot Vacuum, April 2025. Contract Samsung in September to complain it was not working, continue errors, not returning to station, stuck in the middle of the floor. Samsung offered to collect the appliance and repair at the end. By the time i received the packaging to return it had started working again. Then about 2 weeks later, same errors again. I have been on webchat teying in vain to have this replaced all they offer is repair. I have asked to make a complaint , was assured i would receive a call back within 24 hours! Never happened, did receive a call from Samsung mobile support asking for my imei number…. My complaint had been put through to the wrong team. Again was assured they would send this to the right department, no call back. December comes, same again raise another online complaint which takes about an hour, repeating all the information and issues already made. On 18th December was guaranteed a call back 24-48 hours, guess what? No call back!! Today i have called to speak with an actual customer service agent, seems he understands my frustration. I no longer wish to accept a repair and want a full refund or replacement appliance. I would never buy the appliance again if i had the chance, my downstairs is all open plan yet the bot struggles to go in one straight line, gets stuck in the middle of the floor, warning to help the bot as something is stuck…nothing in sight. Surely with it being AI Samsung can track the history of the device and see the error history!!!
Repair service
I am extremely disappointed with Samsung’s repair service and customer support regarding my Samsung Ring.
I returned the ring for repair, only to be informed that it could not be repaired. Despite this, I was not offered a replacement or a satisfactory solution, which I find unacceptable—especially given that the device was purchased earlier this year and should reasonably be supported.
What makes this experience worse is that I am a long-term Samsung customer with multiple Samsung devices registered on my Samsung account. Loyalty appears to count for very little when an issue actually arises. The communication was vague, slow, and lacked any real effort to resolve the problem fairly.
For a premium product and a brand that positions itself as customer-focused, this level of aftersales support is simply not good enough. This experience has seriously made me question my continued loyalty to Samsung.
I would strongly advise anyone considering Samsung wearable devices to think carefully about the level of support they may receive if something goes wrong.
zero support for faulty appliance parts
Contacted the tech support for a Jet Pet vacuum with a faulty narrow attachment and was told that they don't replace/repair those kinds of issues as they are classificed as "physical damage", not covered by the warranty. What had happened, though is that the other day, the extension button shot off from the attachment body, with most of the button flying into my face (nearly the eyes), and the internal spring flying across the room, while a splinter from the inside of the button fell down. To me, this clearly indicated manufacturing fault - why would a button splinter on the inside otherwise? To Samsung, though, despite a photo with all the bits, this is simply physical damage inflicted by the user and is not covered by the vacuum warranty. Extremely disappointing and means I'm going to avoid their products at all costs in the future. It was extremely difficult to contact them, to start with. Then, the conclusion that it's my fault that their plastic was faulty, is just beyond belief really. Terrible support all around.
We have a 3 year old Samsung tv which…
We have a 3 year old Samsung tv which has been barely used as it is not main tv in house. Screen is gone which means tv is useless. Samsung refusing to even contribute towards cost of fixing it . Avoid this company at all cost
Their whole existence is to avoid fixing anything under warranty
I think their previous reviews says it all. Its hard to find a company with a 1.5 star rating, but Samsung is it. To summarize, their customer support is designed to make sure they dont have to repair anything under warranty or at all.
Disastrous repair/back up service.
Disastrous repair service.
Im not going to leave a rant of the whole experience suffice to say I have a Samsung flip phone. I needed the screen "protection" replaced. I rang Samsung 3 times. They booked it in finally, sent me to Fon Fix in Sandyford the next day - fon fix who dont have a phone number that works, they didnt answer their emails and when I got to their premises there was a sign advising they'd been closed since 6th Aug. Fon Fix a disastrous customer service.
This is it in a nutshell. If booked in for pick up - which was an option - it could take up to ELEVEN days. Its not resolved but apparently according to Samsung their repairers are in Belfast and not now in dublin.
Ill be changing my phone to a Motorola as this is the 3rd time since I bought the phone ive had issues with their back up - non existent back up service.
So if I could select no star I would.
The fact that Samsung messes up…
The fact that Samsung messes up something as simple as earphones is beyond me. I miss wired earphones idgaf what anyone says, they were more handy cuz IT JUST WORKS. I’m sick of having to adjust the positioning of these stupid Samsung earplugs because they’re always doing this low end cancelation bs because my “earphones aren’t inserted correctly” Like wtf you didn’t feel my ear bro they’re literally in
Dreadful experience with Customer…
Dreadful experience with Customer Solutions for a 3 year old washing machine. Bumped from pillar to post. Hours/phone calls - too many to mention wasted. Waiting on more decision making in God knows where this time...... DISAPPOINTED WITH SAMSUNG - reputational damage and fixing a problem does not seem to be part of their remit.
This company is a disaster..
This company is a disaster... Fridge/Freezer clapped out on 29th October and while still under warranty I can't have a service call to fix it until Friday 7th November... Called the "Care Centre" (actually should be called the "Couldn't Care Less Centre") to be informed Samsung aren't the only brand we work for. Meanwhile - a full freezer of food had to be binned.
STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG - THE worst customer service I've ever experienced.
