Worst customer service i have ever received...
Asked for a refund after they failed to mark an item on their website as not in stock.
Asked 3 times...
They never answered about a refund only for what item I'd like to change it...
Then told me I will get a gift card of 10$ or 25% off my next order..
I was so damn annoyed that I stupidly accepted that offer...
Got an email that said they were grateful for my interest in their products (I'm definitely not interested anymore)
And I will get 60points on their website and 20% off on my next order with a code, that is usable for a limited time of 14days...
I'm freaking annoyed...
Be careful ordering from them and if you are interested in their products, do it via Amazon and not their website...

Half of my order shipped within the advertised time frame. The other half never had a valid tracking number assigned to it. I reached out to support and was told they had my dress, but that they were waiting on the shawl and would ship both out together on April 6th. April 6th came and went so I reached out again. I was told that they actually didn't have the dress and it would be another two weeks. Completely ridiculous and incompetent support.

Edit to update: they tried bribing me with a refund and free items to delete this review via email before replying on here with the same offer.

I feel like it's generally common sense to not sell more dresses than you have in stock. Good practice is to mark the item as out of stock so people know there will be a wait on the item. It is also not good practice to tell someone their dress is at the warehouse, and then go back on that. That implies you either lied, or you gave my dress to someone else.

This brand is my go to for whimsical and fun attire. I have purchased everything from shoes to capes to bathing suits to dresses and everything else they offer, and I have zero complaints. I love the pockets in the more recent dress designs. I adore the designs and the materials are all great quality. I have never had a problem with shipping delays or anything. 10/10 recommend for Ren Faire, Disneyland, tea parties, weddings, and any other time you want to feel fabulous and fanciful.

I have some beautiful clothing from Scarlet Darkness that despite being unusual are very wearable and always draw compliments from friends and strangers alike. I haven’t found another clothing company that satisfies my desire for whimsical and interesting attire which I enjoy wearing. I find the range of clothing to be extensive and enjoy just looking at the various items while I shop - I particularly like to mix and match different items to create the perfect outfit, items which I can then use with other stuff in my wardrobe. I like the various campaigns when new clothing is available as the suggested ways of wearing the items gives me inspiration for my own look. Never had any problems with ordering and delivery so far and I live on a small island in the English Channel 😀 I will continue to shop with Scarlet Darkness and very happy with everything so far 👍

The styles and quality are very good. I can often get items on sale, making them affordable.
My only complaint is that when I needed to return an item because it was much too large, it was impossible. I wrote 3 or 4 emails to the address they gave for returns, but never received any response. Now the garment is sitting in a drawer, wasted money. Had I been able to return it, their website said I would need to oay for shipment to China! What?! Their website promises returns are easy. That is most definitely not the case. Returns are impossible.
Because of this returns problem, I prefer to buy Scarlet Darkness items from Amazon.

The clothings are wonderful! It's not cheap quality and the designs are gorgeous 😍
I love wearing the corsets, the skirts, the tops and the dresses (oh my God the dresses!), they are so comfortable! The customer service is also excellent, they are fast to respond and to find a solution if you have a problem.
They also have new colors and new models often so you always find something interesting when browsing the pages. Which is dangerous when you can't stop yourself from buying new things to try on 😅 the cherry on the top? You can always find incredible deals on your favorite items ;)

I absolutely love the size transparency and specifications that are offered in the descriptions for these clothes. It allows me to comfortably shop on this website and know exactly which pieces of clothing will work for my body. I also genuinely appreciate the photo to real life accuracy! The dress I bought is exactly what I was expecting if not even more beautiful in person and I just don't take that for granted when online shopping.

Overall, I've been happy with the products I have received from Scarlet Darkness. The sizing is fairly accurate, considering often for similar companies sizing runs very small. I personally do not find this for Scarlet Darkness. The items are also pretty good quality. I have several peices from them that get used often and they hold up quite well. Where improvements can be made, customer service is incredibly difficult to get a hold of, if you can get a hold of them at all. Shipping to North America, astronomically long or quick, Ive had orders take 6 weeks to come in and orders that have arrived in 2 weeks. Consistancy or clearer shipping guidelines can be made on the website. Finally prices. While I am part of the affiliate program, I've had some followers explain that they are able to find similar or the same items off Amazon for half the price. Having tested this theory myself, sadly they are correct. So prices can perhaps be reviewed since not all items are unique to Scarlet Darkness. That being said, they do have a variety of styles, colours and price points and do have sales often!

I’ve ordered quite a lot of items from Scarlet Darkness by now, and every single time I’ve been very satisfied with how my order was handled. The entire process has always felt smooth, reliable, and professional. Whenever I had a question, their customer service team responded quickly by email and was always helpful and courteous, which really made a difference. I especially love their skirts and corset options, because they fit so well with my style and always feel beautifully designed. At this point, half of my wardrobe is made up of Scarlet Darkness pieces, which says a lot about how much I genuinely enjoy their products.

Im personally very happy with scarlet darkness. Everything i’ve bought so far has been good quality and has arrived within the time it promised. Theres also the option to buy their products over amazon, which quickens the delivery time needed, but obviously decreases how many products they can offer since they would have to be stored in your country. So far, I’ve bought 3 Corsets through either Amazon or the shop itself. My first one was a bit too big, but returning it was no problem at all and i managed to exchange it for one that actually fitted me. Everything looks well sewn with no rough edges. I think what i love the most is the Options available that allow you to build exactly what type of Outfit you want.

Absolutely no customer service. They give you 2 weeks to return after delivery. But they will not reply to ANY emails. Will be filing a chargeback through my bank and spend my money elsewhere. Don’t let them scam you too.

My experience with Scarlet Darkness has been wonderful. I have 5 beautiful well fitting dresses and one blouse. I often have trouble finding petite sizes that fit but these items are true to size and some of my favorites. I find myself grabbing to wear then often and would highly recommend. They don't fell apart or seem cheap .

I love Scarlet Darkness. I have gotten many items from there and even have stuff waiting to be shipped. I love everything I've gotten and on the rare times the are sold out of something they bend over backwards to get me something to replace it. They have such a wide range of styles it's hard to find something you don't like. The sizes are pretty spot on and run true to size. Their clothes are beautiful and comfy. I can't say enough good things about them. I truly don't understand why all the hate. It's a fabulous store.

The clothing is always correctly themed and on brand.
The descriptions have always been accurate to the best of my knowledge including the fabrics and sizes.
And excluding the buttons and other hardware, which admittedly are prone to falling off or snapping once or twice in my experience, the clothing is able to withstand daily wear and tear. I have also never had any issues washing my items in a machine (I don't have any of their corsets or other delicate items however so I cannot speak to machine washing those personally)

Support has also gotten quicker and more responsive in recent months.

Beautiful dress as always. Great fit and very flattering. I have quite a lot of this brands clothing. Great value for money. I feel like a goddess when I wear the clothes, especially love the dramatic sleeves.

I shopped here initially at random and with lots of trepidation, but every item I have received has been well made and more importantly fit me and my unusual size! Shipping while overseas for me is still really fast, the only thing I have to hold against them is they’re not responsive to emails, they solve the issue but it happens in the background. The corset I first ordered (one of now three) helped me to realize that clothing was indeed important in feeling good about myself and since that initial purchase I have bought several other items including dresses and accessories and I love all of them.

Order not shipped after 40 days, customer service is unresponsive. I opened a dispute with PayPal, and they're trying to mislead customer service by posting photos of my order instead of tracking and a refund. They respond in Chinese, and I need to translate.

I stumbled upon the brand on Amazon and went to their website directly and I was a bit scared at first because it almost felt/looked too good to be true.

I made a pretty large order which had to be split up for separate batches but I got in contact with their customer support and have had great communication with them.

The only issue is that the emails do not always end up in the inbox so I had to check a couple of times in the spam folder as well.

They were even super helpful when the stupid Early Bird delivering company fumbled their packaging delivery and helped to get it rescheduled with another delivery company which arrived without hassle.

So if anything is to take away from my review would be search your inbox (and spam folder) for their response if you communicate with them (it says so on their webpage but I cannot stress this enough) Otherwise I am one happy gal who is going to have a great time at the medieval fair this summer!

I have been trying to get a refund for an item I ordered almost two months ago and they still can’t give a delivery date. I have requested a refund multiple times because they at first told me a month after I ordered that the item was out of stock. Now they’re asking me to wait and won’t issue a refund. I will never order from them again. It also took me putting in a complaint to Shopify for them to respond to my requests for a refund which they still haven’t issued. Do not order from them.

Ordered a mystery bag but received an item in the wrong size (M) while I ordered a size S.
Contacted support twice, each time I agreed to being sent a replacement as they told me returning the item would be too costly. EACH TIME after I sent an email agreeing to being sent a correctly sized dress, they go silent. No confirmation, no shipping, nothing.
