Ordered an item from their website on Saturday, they sent email next day saying it's shipped. At this point my credit card was charged. After several days there weren't any movement on the tracking number so I contacted them to inquire. At first they said it's shipped, after I followed up again they finally admitted it wasn't shipped and is out of stock. When I said I should've been notified and asked for when they actually plan to ship it, this is their response:
"We run out of products occasionally and you were just notified. I apologize but this seems like a real problem, so we'll go ahead and cancel your order"

Again, we apologize. We ran out of an item that sells quickly, but at times it happens and in this case, we offered a brand new one for his wait. Instead, he sent this message and this bogus statement above or below ours.
“I have headed an e-commerce team that does 100k transactions a month, and this not how "customer service" works. You sound as if you are doing me a favor by selling me something.”
He stated that after we shipped, “at this point”,. Shopify is an active cart, feel free to do a google search, it’s in their terms of service which you agreed to, so not true. It happened at the moment it asked if you wanted to proceed.
Sunday Night, I began writing up orders for the week’s shipments, we did not say it was shipped. We created a label to go to shipping, we have no way to print labels, package them and then ship on a Sunday. Also false.
“Several days”, He reached out via email on Wednesday and I told him it had shipped erroneously, it was a mistake which we apologized and tried to fix. We offered a brand new unit instead of a used one, for the error with our apology.
We apologize. That being said, to go this far against another company that’s small with a sledgehammer says a lot more about you than anyone else. Sorry but this new Amazon world where people do damage to others and treat them inappropriately or harshly for ego is sad.
I bought a Roadie 3 guitar tuner from Scott at Skitscat. It's a motorized auto tuner. At first I was a little skeptical but man, this thing rocks! Tune your guitar in seconds. 150 presets for alternate tuning. Will tune guitar, ukes, banjos, mandolins, etc. Alternate tunings are preprogrammed. Highly recommend this product and Skitscat Music. True professionals!
I purchased a B-Stock ToneRite 3G Guitar from Scitscat’s Website. The item was in excellent condition and was shipped extremely fast! Will definitely recommend Scitscat Music and shop here again!
I ordered some software from them. The next day they replied, asking for my email for a download (even though I was charged a shipping fee??).
I responded with my email. I didn't hear back the next day so I messaged them back. Repeat 5 days of messaging them, no word. I tried calling and no one picks up. They are non responsive and have been ignoring me. Would definitely not do business with them again!
Very friendly, quick to reply to messages, and helpful. Fast shipping and great pricing. Will continue to source from them.

placed the order and appears it was cancelled as it was flagged fraudulent. BS. After a few days got refunded by cc company since i was actually charged. Is that the definition of fraudulent ?? Another reviewer on a different site reported the same - seems like a problem on their end. So I called scat up and they said they will send an invoice. Never got it. This occured 3 times. Finally called up a few days later, same about sending invoice now in 3 mins. Never got it. Tried to call back, no one picked up, 3 times no one picks up........unprofessional and unfit for public service. Best to avoid.

My name is Sean, I manage the Scitscat Music Website and Orders. Your Order, Order # 1272, was cancelled and blocked by Shopify, for the following reasons: Your Name, Address, Phone Number, Email Address, Credit Card details, are related to fraudulent orders observed in the past by the Shopify. This was NOT our decision, like we discussed with you multiple times on the phone and via email, this was a Shopify decision. You are upset with the wrong company.

In terms of your Invoice you requested, we send all of our invoices through Shopify, through their Draft Order system. However, after sending to you 5 different times, we were notified by Shopify, that the Invoices are blocked because your account is FRAUDULENT.
Your Account Information = Your Name, Address, Phone Number, Email Address, Credit Card Information is Flagged by Shopify to be Fraudulent. Why YOU are flagged as Fraudulent? No idea, that is not our decision, that is up to Shopify's Fraud Tracker.
ALL orders and payments on our website are processed securely through Shopify Payments. We do not store credit card details nor have access to your credit card information, at all. Since Shopify is the Credit Card processor, all of that information is stored securely by them and only them.
You purchased on 12/11/2020 at 11:35 PM EST, and your order was cancelled and refunded on 12/11/2020 at 2:34 PM EST. According to Shopify's Help Center here - https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/payments/shopify-payments/faq#how-long-do-i-have-to-issue-a-refund.
It states:
"How long does it take for my customer to get refunded?
Approximately 5–10 business days. Although we submit any refund that you make to your customer's bank immediately, your customer's bank must still process the refund and apply it to their account. Processing time can vary between banks."
Your refund was received back to you within 72-Business Hours/3-Days, according to Shopify's Order # 1272.
You called regarding the Invoice not being received on December 15th, I spoke to you personally. I did hit resend multiple times on this Invoice, however, when you called back I was on the other line and you did NOT leave any voicemails or a call-back number, so I was unable to call you back, since your number was blocked. Without a voicemail or a message, we were unable to return your call.
Again, all of your issues were completely false and defamatory. Your account is flagged as FRAUDULENT. Shopify blocked the invoice to you, because your account is FRAUDULENT.

I have bought multiple items from Scitscat over the past several years, as have many people I know in our local area, South Florida. Never had a problem of any kind with Scott or Sean Katz, and knowing them personally, I believe they are very ethical and fair in their business and personal relationships.
From tech support, guidance through purchases, honest advice on products, and even to giving away items just to keep certain scamming "customers" happy, Scitscat and staff have always been honest and fair in my experience, and go over and above what any average business owner would do to keep a normal customer happy.
I personally would not credit negative reviews without hearing all sides of the story. But that's just me, I happen to think the American concept of "innocent until proven guilty" is a good practice to live my life by.

I thought that I'm buying from neweggs.
I regrettfully purchased from ebay seller Scitscat on ebay and the item arrived broken. Their solution was to lie and cheat the system. Their business model is very unprofessional. Customer care is non existent. Steer clear of this seedy business based out of Miami Florida. They go by Scit Scat Music on both ebay and Reverb.com
