We have been landlords with Scott Fraser for a few years now and, while our experience has been quite mixed in the past due to issues with the Property Management side, we have noticed a huge improvement since Simon Butt became our Property Manager.

In the short time he has been our main point of contact, Simon has been extremely helpful, responsive, and professional. He has dealt with a couple of issues quickly and efficiently, keeping us updated both by email and phone. Most importantly, his communication has been excellent, which makes all the difference.

I was so impressed that I went into the Witney branch to let Samantha know personally what a great job Simon has been doing managing our property. We feel reassured having Simon looking after things and are very pleased with the positive change he has brought.

This is the first time my wife and I have engaged with Scott Fraser and we have been delighted with the experience. Renting a property can be stressful but from the moment we engaged with Callum all went well and we look forward to our moving in. It helps that the Landlord of the property is also incredibly helpful; she too deserves praise.

We were scheduled to have a viewing today at 10:00 on the 16th August. We called the agency to tell them we’re on our way and called them once we’d arrived, only to be told different stories.

First we were told there was no scheduled viewing booked for us. Then we were told the booking was actually scheduled for 12:30. Which we didn’t mind because we would’ve spent time in the city while waiting. WE THEN RECEIVED A CALL STATING THAT THE CURRENT TENANTS ARE ON HOLIDAY AND THE AGENT DOES NOT HAVE KEYS FOR THE HOUSE, FOR A VIEWING TO TAKE PLACE.

I’m sorry but this is very unprofessional and inconsiderate of our time. We drove all the way from Worcester. I’m at a loss for words. I won’t mention the names of the people involved because I believe we all make mistakes, however I needed to vent about this because I’m very annoyed.

The lady on the phone was lovely, apologised, and promised we’d get called on Monday to reschedule…

The agent by name callum, he is an amazing person, very patient and understanding, I still contact him if I don't understand anything. He returns your call anytime he is unable to answer your call. Such a wonderful person.

Am still in my early stages of knowing Scott Fraser as an organisation, so this review is motivated on my first SF contact of Ella Tuttle at my first viewing.

Having done a lot of these, Ella was, like the previous agents, very pleasant and engaging. Unlike them, however, she was also really engaged - so not just a good listener, but then went on to really apply that in negotiating our tenancy for a best result for all involved. And she really went the extra mile - and then another.

So thanks to her, and her unfailingly pleasant and helpful colleagues at the Headington Office. Grew up in the property business, and have dealt with many letting agents, which has confirmed the general low opinion of the sector out there.

Ella, in contrast, has been both engaged and entirely professional from the get-go - and delivered on both.

Which is no mean feat these days - and why she stands out. As did the cheerfulness and helpfulness of her colleagues at the Headington office.

Having moved every year for the past ten years, I am thoroughly impressed and blown away by the service Scott Fraser provided. In particular, Sofia Wilkins from Witney branch who has been amazing throughout this whole process. They are responsive, considerate and goes above and beyond to be inform and support as much as possible. Having Sofia as our point of contact has made this move seamless, stress free and an enjoyable experience. She always responded quickly and even with things she did not readily know answer to, was helpful in liasing with landlords and finding information as efficiently as possible. She and the team went above and beyond whenever possible and has been accomodating consistently. We are very happy with the service Scott Fraser has provided and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for properties and rentals. Thank you Sofia and team for all your help and support.

We had reached out to Ben to view a couple of properties in Kidlington. He was very attentive during our call and replied promptly to our scheduling needs. On the day of the viewing, he was very punctual, professional and well informed about the property and the surrounding area. What made Ben stand out was his friendly and open communication on our queries. He is knowledgable about carpentry and was able to provide honest insights. We highly recommend you reach out to Ben if you value these qualities in the person who can help you connect with the right property.

If I could give negative numbers I would!
Still waiting for my deposit, holding deposit and months rent - which was paid upon signing....only to have them break contract ON the day we were moving in.
They made excuses and denied it was their fault, blaming landlord and goodlord...even though they offered us a contract and took our money, knowing full and well the landlord hadn't agreed.

Michelle Welsh is an absolute gem. When we moved in she took over from the normal contact of the block maintenance team, due to his annual leave.
She was really help and resourceful and sorted out boiler, garden tap and water meter issues with the shortest notice possible.
She also helped to make sure that any deadline tasks we made aware of and help with the bookings as well.
She was also prudent with the follow ups as well, which really made us feel we are valued customer of Scott Fraser.

Patrick and the team went above and beyond - highly recommended - having used several agents over the years by far the best experience.

These people are just scammers. They put my property on the market. Didn't respond to any emails for 3 weeks and there are no viewings. In that time they didn't put a sign at my house saying for sale. When I went to their offices, my property wasn't even on show in their window or inside. They had pictures of properties with 'SOLD' written on it rather than have my property. As this was suspicious, a friend queried asking for details about the property via Rightmove and got no response from Scott Fraser. Their plan was to tell me that there was no interest and then make me drop the price. Then they'd sell it on to a friend. There are minimal houses for sale in Oxford and therefore Scott Fraser were actively trying to reduce the price I'll accept. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.

Caia has been absolutely WONDERFUL from start to finish. She's been extremely professional, kind, on top of everything, and super efficient. She's done an amazing job. Thank you, Caia!

MID-TERM PROPERTY VISIT APPOINTMENT
We are great with Zoe Collins, upon taken over as the property manager, we have experienced prompt response to issues, call back mechanism, attention to details and flexibility in scheduling appointments.
Her ability to reschedule events or appointments to meet tenants workplan demands commendations.

As a landlord, I have nothing complimentary to say. The property management service should have given me peace of mind. Instead, it has been a stressful nightmare. Poor communication and actions on key issues at the property; incomplete accounts of rental income/expenses; incorrect dates on legal documents to renew tenancy; and shockingly poor property management processes are just a few of the complaints that I raised with them. The 'property manager' does not, as a matter of their standard procedure, EVER visit the property. All visits are contracted out to random third-party companies with which the landlord has no contact. Had I not been an overseas landlord rarely visiting UK, i would have replaced Scott Fraser as property manager several years ago. Under no circumstances would I consider using them (or any Leaders Group companies) again, nor would I recommend to anyone else do so.

Very poor experience with this estate agent. He showed me a property that was in an unacceptable state—messy, dirty, and clearly not cleaned or prepared for viewing. He then pressured me into signing up for a non-deposit scheme that involved a subscription fee, which I later found out is non-refundable under any circumstance. After that, he completely ignored my follow-up messages asking for updates. Unprofessional, pushy, and unreliable.
