Scott's Bass Lessons is a fantastic platform for bass players. The community is amazing and helpful. There are so, so many top notch courses and instructional content as well as just plain fun content.

My experiences is great so far. Great lessons and great teachers.

It's everything they say it is. I have grown by leaps and bounds and at a much faster rate than I had when I first started playing. The entire site is chalk full of great information, the lessons and teachers are all amazing musicians! Well worth the membership!

I love that SBL covers all the styles of bass with a variety of awesome instructors!

I rated myself as a fairly good bassist already, but even if you are a Pro, SBL will show you that you don't know everything

you will improve regardless of skill level. SBL guides new players step by step with players path while also offering more advanced lessons held by a myriad of expert bass players.

This is hard to answer - cause I find almost all of the aspects (courses, mentor sessions and the discussion boards) useful and informative.

As a self-taught bass player I have found the lesson, brochures and videos have been very helpful in improving my bass playing.

The connection with other real bass players of all levels makes LiveClass a fantastically engaging and entertaining way to learn and practice with other people. I've learned so much. And I always have good references to go back to if I want to revisit something I've watched before.

First saw Scott on YouTube doing one off lessons. Took a chance and bought the Playalong package. It was superb. Joined the Forum and later SBL. After my first year as a member I couldn't keep up with everything that was coming out and had no hesitation in joining for life. This is genuinely the font of bass knowledge. Brilliant community, vast array of guest tutors from all walks of music. I genuinely spent months messing round with ideas from a Rich Brown course (and this is just one example), and when I emerged from the shed there were seven more full courses and countless seminars waiting! You will honestly NEVER exhaust this resource.

It's done more for my playing, understanding and appreciation of music in general and bass in particular than any single thing I can think of.

Also I have had a LOT of laughs! This is not a dry dusty classroom, people. Have fun.

I started knowing absolutely nothing about music or playing an instrument of any kind.I am now able to play the bass at what I'd call advanced beginner stage and also understand what Im doing,how music is created ,the building blocks of creating music.Im even thinking of geting a keyboard too and taking what I learned from SBL and trying it out on keys.I can’t say enough about the musical education Ive recieved fromSBL Im 70 years old and Im on a new Adventure with SBL I look forward to it every day.Got my P Bass plugged in and grooving .I know I ain’t Jamerson or Chuck Rainey and never will be But Im trying!!!

Humanity, passion, respect and they do not take too seriously themselves. Obviously they also know how to teach bass...

It's one of the best electric bass content websites you can find online. In addition to tutorials, you can also find some really interesting reports. The only improvement I see is that they should consider Spanish speakers who may not be very proficient in English. But hey... YouTube and Google translators do their job!

SBL's courses are very comprehensive, and when combined with the dedication of the student, I believe that the results could be endless.

SBL is passionate to help any Bass player no matter what level they are at to achieve their goals and they have soo much content and continuously offer more and more, plus they have an AMAZING staff that is on board with making that happen... I just joined the Blue Print and can't wait to see where it take me!!!

Lifetime member since January 2014 - what a decision that was, as it was absolute peanuts to join! But it's a colossal, fun and evolving resource, with lesson pathways, community, tools like the Groove trainer, pro courses and coaches, and it is worth paying (a lot!) for. I swear EVERYTHING is covered and even stuff not exclusively bass; the course on preventing injury has even fixed mine and my partner's postures in general life. Actually not everything...I would love to see specifc courses for kids learning bass.

This is the "go to" place for all bass players from beginner to expert. So much content, not just lessons. If you can't find what you need with Scott's Bass Lessons you should just hide your bass in a closet and forget it!!
