Terrific customer service

We ordered a bathroom vanity but then the work to install it was delayed months due to a poor contractor experience. Once we finally got to installation we discovered that the top to the vanity was damaged sitting shipping. Scout and Nimble ordered a replacement immediately, which arrived on time and they followed up! Great customer service!

Proceed with Caution

While they represent lovely furnishings, they are horrible at everything after you make your purchase. They don't tell you the merchandise is coming from the far East and it takes an inordinate amount of time just to get the merchandise on a ship. Then you wait for it to get across the ocean etc. I could have purchased the exact same thing from many other sources and receive the goods in a timely fashion! Then they said they attempted a partial delivery but I was here the entire day and no such attempt happened! While they have a lovely web site I would rather go with a name I trust! Proceed with caution!

Double check check your order

I ordered 3 lights. I accidentally order the wrong finish. I did read the return policy but I guess I didn't see where that you couldn't exchange. That was disappointing. I contacted customer support and Ava sent me one return label for 3 descent sized boxes and asked me to combine them into 1 box. I told her that couldn't be done and to please send me 3 return labels. Ava did not respond. I contacted customer support again and everything got taken care of. The return policy is a little strict so make sure that you get your order right the first time!

Poor craftsmanship, worse customer support

The Four Hands Isador dining table from Scout & Nimble is attractive but poorly made. After 3.5 years of minimal use and careful adherence to care instructions, the seams on both short ends have split—over 8 inches on one end and nearly a foot on the other. This is not minor wear and tear; the table is literally coming apart.
Scout & Nimble denied my request for a replacement or refund because the one-year warranty period had passed, and stated that “wood does naturally expand and contract over time, so some splitting is to be expected and normal.”
Splitting of this magnitude in a lightly used dining table at this price point is not normal. Labeling it as “expected” raises serious questions about Scout & Nimble’s product standards and commitment to its customers.
My experience reflects poorly on both the product’s craftsmanship and Scout & Nimble’s willingness to stand behind its products. Buyers expecting durability or accountability should think twice.

We understand your disappointment with the splitting that has occurred. As we discussed, all solid wood furniture naturally expands and contracts in response to humidity and temperature changes, and this can result in splitting over time—particularly after several years of use. This is a characteristic of natural wood, and not a manufacturing defect. We have filed and claim and shared your photos with the manufacturer and they have denied the claim on the item and are stating the same information regarding it being a natural split in the wood due to changes in humidity levels within your home over a 3.5 year period of time.

Our warranty period aligns with industry standards, and at 3.5 years of use, your table is outside this coverage period. That said, we're here to help. We'd be glad to connect you with repair options or provide additional care guidance to help extend the life of your table, as I am fairly a certain a repair technician would be able to address the splitting wood that you shared with us.

Customer Service was excellent! One chair came damaged and another missing. Hayley, from S&N, was so helpful and attentive in getting me 2 new chairs. And they came before the holidays, which was a huge bonus! Thank you!

Great Customer Care

I ordered 3 counter stools from Scout & Nimble; one came slightly damaged. I immediately reached out to the Customer Care Team, and they were extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. They replaced the stool free of charge and let me keep the old one. They respond in under 24 hours and are such a nice team to work with! The stools are also beautiful!

Hayley provided awesome customer service. The console we received arrived with a defect, and Hayley was very helpful as we worked together to identify the issue and discuss resolution. Damaged cabinet replacement

An office cabinet we ordered was damaged from the factory when we unpacked, box showed no damage. Contacted customer service and I received a prompt response. They ordered a replacement, that day, and I received the new replacement cabinet quickly. Customer service was in contact with me, throughout the entire process of receive the replacement. Very happy with their rapid response and handling of the issue.
