My experience with SeedFi has been wonderful. I've mostly been able to make payments on time, but was let go from a job and didn't start a new one until two months later, so I missed one payment and they reached out to me to see if they could offer any "programs" to help me out. We were able to push my payment back a couple of weeks so that I have time to get a paycheck from my new job. Gabriel, the customer service person I spoke to, was kind and understanding. I'm sure not every customer service person is amazing, but I'm glad Gabriel was!

For transparency purposes,I eat your repost of this on reddit as it was shared to FB. I loved the RIMM/JOBS analogy. That said, I do agree your experience speaks to the new business model which has evolved most efficiently since just prior to 2017, that of customer service, retention, respect, and development of loyalty branded by consumer driven experience has pervasively countered into a culture of the consumer is looked upon and treated as merely in need of, and beholden to the terms of the corporation. Your review was classic overkill unnecessarily leading to what sounds like belittling. People, business leaders, hold the Sam Walton's, the Jack Welch, the Warren Buffet's, with little regard; somehow hold Steve Jobbs, a hero of mine to my friend, as somehow more akin to themselves. Yet that's due to their having no understanding of the commonality amongst all great business leaders. Walton was customer obsessed and could buy seedfi 100 times over, but was humble. Closing, Jobs was a visionary, tough, but 100% customer driven, check that, customer retention and loyalty driven. Great dead on underlying analysis and review. Given the Macro, Inflationary, fed tightening continuance, pay increases lagging cost of living increases,debt to income ratio systemically worsening, companies like seedfi lack understanding in that consumer difference, in the current and forward looking environment, will fall into one of two categories; excellence, rarity, unmatched product, service, and costs. The second, we'll Walton called it service with humility, Welch called it unmatched customer trust and confidence, and Jobs said " the fng thing must say hello! Nothing else matters lmao. More consumers need to follow, or lead the movement away from the seedfi's and by numbers seek and give loyalty to those businesses that value us, and these writers as you say, they are advertisers on response or page view pay. Ooh, and if you read this, speaking of lacking, seedfi must have failed contractual law. Misrepresentation with intent to defraud, lying as to material facts which lead to the loan is what most lenders call a no lose, risk free lock. They were more about strip searching you lol. I applied for the credit builder program, not the CIA, not for NASA, a credit builder app. I spent two hours sending, then having rejected, my legal Driver's License, my Social Security Card, My bank Statement, my Truck title, my IRS returns, my vehicle registration, my auto insurance, a Department of Revenue Statement, A today dated credit card offer, oh, and my IRS returns for 2022. Every single piece clearly indicating my address and every piece recent. So after all of this, they ask me for a medical bill. I swear before God, so I go all out. I offer to log into my USPS informed delivery account, take a photo with today's date with my name and my address and they tell me they need something more substantial. And they were so serious, like I was waiting for the "gotcha" moment, it never came. Look, it's a credit builder account, Your not changing the world. The whole attitude and self grandizzing, We are the step child to Elon Musk attitude was telling. The parallel being remarkable in only one way; the self pronounced,and generally supported, most intelligent, foward looking, dynamic innovator of our time; to whom they at seedfi so desperately want to mirror ( without actually having a single proprietary, innovative, high barrier to entry, intellectual property, do very much give a sense of that over inflated ego, the very one that lead the greatest mind of our generation to buy twitter...twitter...did I mention it was for a credit builder account? These guys are the RIMM and blackberry of the early 2000 years, and as AAPL was a month from bankruptcy, when asked about Steve Jobbs returning to AAPL the CEO of RIMM laughingly replied "Steve who?". Get a clue dweeb, your no Elon Musk, sure as hell no Steve Jobbs, your just the Blackberry. You still want my medical bill??

I have only great things to say about SeedFi they helped me a lot and made thing easy for me to make my credit score higher

This company is a scam and they do not care who they take money from, all I wanted to do was rebuild my credit and that has yet to show on my credit report. I have not received the money I put into this account and wish I read the reviews before ever dealing with this company. PLEASE DONT NOT BELIEVE THE 5 STARS REVIEW THOSE WERE MADE BY THE COMPANY DIRECTLY

Like everyone else, I was excited to get approved for this loan. I was thinking it was going to improve my credit, build savings, and use the short term cash for an emergency. I have been a SeedFi customer for nearly a year now. I took out a $4,000 loan. $1,500 was for immediate use and $2,500 was for the "Savings". The APR was 29.94% and I didn't realize it, but, after a year of paying $200 per month, I still owed $3,000. Had I not been able to receive some very fortunate money, I would have ended up paying several thousands in interest. They have this "loan cost" and they have the "interest" on top of the loan you take out. The "Savings" account you'll be access to after the loan is paid, will only cost you much more money than a smaller loan. I would avoid this company at all costs. If you do need a loan, go with the smallest loan possible

So i startd using credit karma at the beginning of the year 2021 to improve my credit score. well i then came across seedfi so i set it up and startd saving money with them at the same time helping rebuild my credit. I would save about $10-$20 every week intill finally i reach my $500 limit where then seedfi was suppose to deposit the $500 back in to my account. which they didnt so i called and complain to credit karma then they tell me to call and complain to seedfi so i do that then seedfi try to tell me to report the problem back to credit karma. Omg are serious giving me the run around now so i finally get ahold of seedfi and explain my problem and they tell me they will get back to me. 1 day go by and i get call from seedfi saying they just now sent the money to me and will be available in 2-3 days. 1 week goes by and nothing 2 weeks go by and still nothing so I decided to call and complain again just for them to give me the run around again it been almost a month now i still haven’t received my $500 that i saved up with my own money while using seedfi and now im starting to feel like i been scam out of my money thru this company so please be-aware

I got SeedFi to try to pay off a loan. It was supposed to improve my credit, I thought I could pay it off with another loan with my improved credit. Instead I immediately had to start using cash advances to pay my bills, and eventually went into a DMP for my other debts because of the insane cost of the SeedFi loans. I tried to reach out, left a review on Google Play (to which they said they would be willing to work with any program I qualify for), I asked my DMP company to reach out, but SeedFi won't help in any way. I don't have enough money to cover bills and expenses, even with help from family. I filed a BBB report, and SeedFi's response was to give me the run around again. I should NEVER have been approved for this loan, this is predatory, I can't PAY and live.

Both times I have contacted customer service I got plain answers that helped me decide whether or not to keep my services here. I have decided to continue with SeedFi due to the professionalism and PLAIN LANGUAGE the customer service associates have used with me and the prompt replies I have received.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Horrible customer service, have been dealing with the same issue for FOUR months with no resolve and it takes me weeks to months to even hear from them. The only time they respond or update me is when I call in or email them multiple times in a row, they constantly say to give them 2-3 more business days and say it is being ‘escalated’…. Still 4 months later and absolutely no answer and I now am trying to close my account, which they make as difficult as possible to close.
Will be filing with the BBB.

Horrible customer service, they have terrible communication !! They make payment arrangements with you and never put it in there computer system, they have done this 3 times to me, I’ve made every payment on time, my payment was 200 I made arrangements to make 100 payment payments after a 600 rent increase, but of course they didn’t put it in the computer & then put it on my credit which nicked my score downn89 points.. I would never use them again.. EVER !!!

They were very prompt and helpful with my issue.

Under no circumstances should you ever go with this despicable company for any loans. They are shady and when you are at your lowest. I had lost my job and was communicating the struggles with them. They were “helping” for the most part and reset everything to make up for missed payment then promptly double charged me. That issue overdrew my checking account not once but twice causing me all kinds of fees when I had no money. I reported the double charge to them and I was informed to file with my bank. I followed instructions only to have the fee reversed and Seedfi communicate to my bank that the double charge was valid and initiated by me. This place will take your money in the most underhanded ways. I will be filing with the bbb.

Iam reading all this bad reviews from this (seedfi) and I have not read one apology from them to the negative reviews. 🤔

Just what it says. Good luck ever getting back your thousands of dollars put in to a borrow and grow account. Over a week and they still won’t unlock my funds and also stopped offering the borrow and grow account. BBB has been contacted and will be meeting with an attorney next week concerning a suit. If anyone else has had their money stolen I would suggest an attorney for this.

The reps are very uneducated when it comes to consumer rights. Don’t pay your payments ACH either if you want it cleared immediately, something they don’t tell you. Held my account locked over a period of days over 150$ that already cleared my bank but forget that they got a larger amount then that and still didn’t release funds for days.

I personally had a wonderful experience with SeedFi. When I started my borrow and grow plan they gave me $2000 upfront the same day and when i paid off the entire loan I received my 2nd $2000 the very next day. I waited about a year to pay it off rather than going the full 36 months but they released my savings very quickly.

I had great experience building my credit through Seedfi.
