Oh no my supplier has chosen DHL to deliver my order!
My heart sinks when I realise something I've ordered is being shipped by DHL. Sometimes they lose the parcel altogether and the supplier has to send it again and I have NEVER had the parcel delivered on the designated day. This is particularly annoying if the supplier has asked me to choose a date for the delivery. DHL tracking information is vague to say the least. I think DHL must use delivery dates as a possibility at best and to be ignored generally.

I payed £15.99 to have my parcel delivered in 24 h and they "attend to deliver" 5 days later.
I received the email saying 3 stops away and I went outside in front of my house... 10 min later I received a message saying " sorry, nobody opened the door" I was in front of the house, nobody came... I top up my phone £5 to call ( nothing free with DHL, not even theri contact number) to be put on hold for 10 min without any information, got disconnected due to the lack of credit on my phone ...
Now I'm down £5 for top up my phone, 15.99 the 24h delivery which turn out being 6 days and no parcel...
Can't believe this company are still in business, I will never use them again.

The level of tax charges is over-exaggerated, and don’t even get me started on the shipping fees. One of the worst shipping companies out there right now. You end up paying practically HALF extra on top of the original value just for them.

Paid extra for fast delivery and said up to 9pm for delivery. Got a note on the tracking app saying could not gain access to property.
Called customer service then got an automated message saying parcel delay.
Shame I cannot give a 0 star rating.
DHL if you cannot offer the service don’t commit to it.
You even charge an extra 7p a minute to make a complaint. What a awful, poor, and totally shit delivery service.
A delivery company has one job... (rant alert)
A delivery company has one job: to deliver parcels. DHL proves again and again they have no interest in doing that job. For me to take time off work and stay home for a parcel all day to then receive a message 'it was not possible to deliver your parcel' is maybe the most infuriating experience in modern life! Thanks DHL.
And then I rang them to ask if they can ring me if there are any issues and in theory it is possible. But do they do it? No. Then, when you whatapp them, you get stuck in AI purgatory and are never allowed to speak with any human being who could potentially help you. It tells you your delivery window (an 8 hour day) and says thank you for contacting us. When you say 'speak with an agent' it says "I'm not able to understand your request, please pick from the list below" and in circles you go.
They also do not deliver on weekends, which would in theory be the time most people could get their parcel.
The only companies that I consistently receive parcels from with NEVER an issue are RoyalMail, FedEx and UPS. All others are guaranteed to cause you grief. DHL is at the top of the grief list. Avoid at all costs.

My parcel, apparently there was aattempted delivery on Tuesday 24th February and I was not except I was in, I have a video doorbell which shows no one went anywhere near my door, no card left. They just lied because they are lazy, lying idiots who think we are all stupid. I am still waiting for my parcel which has been at the local depot since the 24th February, can't get hold of anyone at DHL. Don't use this company

Got an email saying someone would need to be in to accept the delivery, but they just left it on the front doorstep and vanished. Then got an email to say I'd accepted it, but theyd literally just copied my name off the parcel and claimed I'd accepted it when I hadn't because they hadn't bothered to actually try to hand the parcel over.

I have no idea if DHL even has my parcel if I call them it says they are expecting it (automated robot) yet the tracking on their website states they received it on 24th February. I can’t seem to speak to an actual human to confirm anything and the retailer is telling me I need to wait before they can step in and refund me incase the parcel does get delivered?? 😡😡😡 not at all happy!!!

Nasty, rude, aggressive delivery driver
Rude, aggressive, nasty delivery driver. Beyond belief. I wanted to cancel the item as I decided I no longer wanted it. Seller advised me to refuse item on the doorstep.
When I explained this to the delivery driver he began shouting at me and arguing that I was wasting his time, and he wasn't going to take the item back as it was an inconvenience for him having to fit it back in the van (!). I showed him the email from the seller saying I should refuse it. He literally ran away from me, leaving the item still in my doorstep. Horrible person who should not be employed by anyone. Still not had a response from DHL regarding my complaint.

If you are a business, DO NOT USE DHL. Your customers will hate you for it. I ordered a gift for a baby shower online, which was delivered to a service point with no pick-up code. So when I tried to claim my package, they couldn't give it to me (because apparently, the service point will be charged if packages aren't signed off properly). After 8 days of conversing with various team members and endless hours on hold, they still couldn't set up a simple pick-up code. If I ever have to hear that god-awful hold music again, I'll headbutt the nearest landmark. I'm still waiting and fear I'll be waiting much, much longer. Meanwhile, my friend's baby remains swaddleless. Think of the children DHL!
Terrible company.
Terrible company.. Lost the only two parcels I've used them for both from America.. To UK One got to UK the cleared customs then went to germany. ( I LIVE IN YORKSHIRE) and the second was passed to everi who lost then found only to send back to dhl who now are shipping back to the states and I have no way of stopping.. Customer service is a joke... Tried them twice.. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!
