SENTIA Spirits founder Professor David Nutt has been a pioneering force in psychopharmacology for over thirty years. He has published more then 500 original research papers and 34 books on a wealth of topics in psychiatry, from his early work in sleep studies to his more famous interventions in drug policy and the study of addiction.

We are glad to hear that you had a good shipping experience, but sorry that your expectations were not met with regards effect. This can be for the following reasons.
Individual variances: Your GABA system is very much your own, and individual chemistry varies from person to person, so the experience of SENTIA will vary too.
Alcohol in system: Regular alcohol drinkers may have a high tolerance to GABA release, which will moderate the SENTIA experience. Studies suggest that you can reset your tolerance to GABA release by refraining from drinking for 2 to 3 weeks.
SSRI’s: (Selective Serotonin Inhibitors) anti-psychotics, tranquillisers and some epileptic medications may inhibit the effects of SENTIA.
Expectations: SENTIA is not designed to get you “drunk”, but offer a more refined experience. All feelings are of course very subjective, and will vary from person to person.
Context: There is a great deal of scientific evidence indicating that drinking (or talking any mind altering substance) alone creates a very different effect from doing so socially. The science suggests the same will be true with SENTIA.

Not an alcohol alternative, a completely redefined approach
Alcohol disagrees with me in recent years so I’ve been looking for an alternative but have found alcohol free options a disappointment . I had not expected to find a mood enhancing drink that feels like a special treat. Red in the evening for a chilled a d calm night. Orange is my Aperol Spritz alternative. Leaves me feeling energized and engaged.
I had delivery problems with my second order but once I contacted Sentia by email I got an immediate, no quibble replacement. I love these drinks mixed with a flavoured tonic.

Excellent Healthy Liquor.
I ordered 18 bottles, 6 of Red, Black and Cask. I would have ordered Yellow but, insanely, there is no discount shown for bulk buying of Yellow, so I dismissed it. The spirits themselves are first rate and make for a welcome and painless holiday from alcohol. The added bonus of healthy and stimulating botanicals is what separates Sentia from ordinary alcohol free spirits one normally buys at Waitrose, which are basically expensive, flavoured tonic mixes. My order was split into 4x deliveries on different days with one Cask bottle going missing, replaced by Joan, very efficiently. I was very worried that a delivery was made by Evri, formerly Hermes, I need a promise that they will never deliver to me again. Evri are a deal breaker. Overall I am happy, aside the delivery saga. One delivery, one big box, simple solution. If not all available, then wait until all is available. Thank You.

I bought 3 bottles
I bought 3 bottles - my lady couldn’t stand any of them - I’m buying them to cut down on my alcohol - and 3 days in I have to say I don’t mind them at all. It’s a new product and evolving and I think we should give the brand a chance!!!

Second time ordering brought 3 bottles…
Second time ordering brought 3 bottles as you get discount can't tell you how much it has helped me relax after losing my hubby last year and 2 cats this year it's been a godsend for me before I started on it I was comfort eating which made me feel worse about life so saving me money as well
I like it with sparkling water and lime or lemon with loads of ice have 1 or2 and evening actually makes me sleep which i wasn't doing

What a clever & delicious alcohol…
What a clever & delicious alcohol alternative! I have just held a wellness retreat where having alcohol didn't feel appropriate. But we also wanted to have a fun night with a great focus. SENTIA was perfect. It really does relax you - like some would say a glass of wine does but without all the nastiness. I have been really trying to swap out alcohol where possible, I've tried a few non alcohol drinks but this really gives you something different. It really does calm the mind unlike what the others offer. And one of the ladies said the next day that she'd had the best night sleep after it in a long time. I like many ladies getting to a certain age knows that alcohol really doesn't agree anymore. So I will be switching to this in as many social situations as I can until it becomes the norm in bars! Which I'm sure & hope it will soon.

Trying to cut down on what since Covid…
Trying to cut down on what since Covid became an almost daily reliance on alcohol as a means of relief from work/family stresses, I’ve found Sentia to be a great way to break that pattern. Although so far, in my limited use (not yet through the first bottle of red), the effects are quite mild they are nevertheless sufficiently pronounced to stave off the reflex reach for a beer/glass of wine. In fact, the more I get used to Sentia (red) the more I appreciate the different and relaxed sense of contentment it offers. I may try branching out into other varieties in the near future.
