My Personal Experience

I would like to share my experience so that others can be cautious.

I had an outstanding loan and availed their settlement service in May 2025. They charged a fee of ₹1.50 lakh over 6 months and assured me that they would handle everything. They promised:

They would manage all calls from the banks.

There would be no harassment.

If I was unable to pay, they would get the loan settled.

They claimed they could settle my ₹23.5 lakh loan at 35%.

However, the reality was very different:

They did not pick up most of the forwarded calls I sent them.

Occasionally, they only answered calls from known contacts and shared screenshots as if they were attending every call.

After taking the fees, they provided almost no support. When I visited their office to raise a complaint, they dismissed me.

Eventually, I had to handle the settlement with the banks myself, and even then, the final amount was less favorable than what they had promised.

Suggestion:
When dealing with such companies, carefully review the agreement and verify everything beforehand. In the end, most of the struggle may fall on you.
I always say, don’t get caught up with such settlement companies. It’s better to directly approach the bank, surrender your loan, and explain your situation.

You will get more support from the bank itself, and you won’t have to pay unnecessary fees.

Request to all, I had very worst experience with Settle loan. They are focusing on our money.. Not solving our problems. If you have money please pay to bank directly with small amount. Bank will cooperate with us maximum.. Before joining pls read your contract twice. I lost 18k from Settle loan within two months.

total scammers, i paid 35k as in legal fees and after one week they stopped picking up my calls, i was promised that they will handle the anti harassment but they didn’t after juicing money from me they stopped responding and Mr.Sajan who was responsible for all this was pathetic person DO NOT BUY there service

Very professional team, handling my debts in a very organised way. The team had always responded whenever I had trouble with Banks and agencies. Their prompt response is helping me to handle the errant agents and lending companies. So far very good experience with this team. Very positive to close all my loan settlements.

The services are really bad; they don't care. I have been paying my monthly lawyer's fees, and so far, no one has been able to send me any details about what is happening with my accounts. I have tried calling them, but no one answers, and then the advocates say they are leaving the company.

Warning to everyone: Stay away from SML! They’re a complete scam. They’ll take your EMI payments and leave you with nothing—no service, no support, just empty promises. They won’t help you settle your loan and will only drain your money. Deal directly with your bank instead and save yourself the headache. SML is a total rip-off!

Settleloan is not at all responsive and they asked me to pay the amount started sending me everything on emails and kept me wait at the time of payment very well created urgency and as soon received payments the staff is not at all responsive when ever i am calling he is either into driving or meetings or weekends. Instead of taking our burden away they leave us with more burden , i got myself registered first and paid 3000 then paid the lawyer fee of 11000 still nothing has started, the process did nor begin yet and how long to wait i am continuously calling Mr aniket the staff i am im contact with earlier he was responding and after i paid the lawyer fee he is not all communicating i think this is the way of saying people that this is the company helping to clear debt but no rather they make you fall into a deeper ditch.

This company is fraudulent. At the time of sales and agreement, they make numerous on-paper and off-paper promises. However, when it comes to delivering the work, these people and their fake advertisements vanish. They stop responding to calls and emails, leaving you stranded. Be cautious—they are frauds who will disappear with your money.
