Worst cream I've ever used
Worst cream I've ever used. Imagine rubbing sudocream all over you and leaving it white. Thats this cream. Not to mention I've never burned in my life and after using this I'm like an actual lobster as is my husband.

Bought this sunscreen thinking I was…
Bought this sunscreen thinking I was doing the right thing for my kids. Tried it myself when it arrived. Applied a small amount on my bald head. Took me about 30 minutes to rub in! Even then it didn’t absorb. Walked round to pick up my daughter looking like a ghost Don’t buy. Has to be better alternative out there

smelly sunscreen
I like the fact that they are trying to make something that is good for our skin (without toxic chemicals) and also not damaging to the environment so I ordered some sunscreen. Unfortunately the product was very expensive for a tiny pot and not worth the money at all. It came out too white and thick and smelt absolutely horrible. When I went on the website to see if I could get a refund for the ones I hadn't opened it said they will not accept returns for not liking the smell or because of the white texture as that is how the product is. If they know it smells unpleasant and is white and thick maybe they should let people know in the description before hand.

Try the smallest size first
It's great that this sunscreen does not contain nasty chemicals, however it wasn't for me. I suggest getting the smallest size to try first.

We are sorry you felt you had to leave such a negative review before reading all the information provided on our website to understand what it was you were purchasing first, or contacting us to find out more about the product.
As it states on the front label, it is unscented - this is to keep the ingredient list to a minimum (just 4) and to reduce risk of irritation as many fragrances are responsible for allergic reactions - therefore it just smells of the combo of coconut oil, shea butter, and beeswax - the zinc doesn't have an aroma. Therefore it smells 'natural'. Some love this, others don't. We can't please everyone. We just aim to offer a sunscreen people with allergies to other sunscreens can tolerate.
Shade is a concentrated formula which does not contain any water, which is the main ingredient in most runny lotion sunscreens, therefore it is thicker than what you are probably used to. It only contains pure, natural ingredients, the nature of which is that they are harder in cooler temperatures, and soften as they warm up, so you just need to leave it somewhere warm to soften, which makes it easier to apply.
At no point have you contacted us to ask to return the 2 x 100ml, which we would be more than happy to do if you haven't put your fingers in them - and which would mean no money was wasted - even Amazon would accept returns, if you ordered on there.
We have been providing Shade to happy customers for over 12 years now. We are a tiny microbusiness, and your review can be very damaging. Again, we are sorry you felt a public negative review about the scent and concentration of the product, which for many are bonuses, was warranted, and we hope you will contact us directly so we can resolve this for you with a refund in exchange for the return of the product.
