Scam company. Just a Chinese scam. Order arrived months past the promised date, box was destroyed. Avoid at all costs, just your typical Chinese scam company promoting on social media until they get delisted.

This company is a joke stay away...its a big scam 🚩🚩🚩🚩

I bought a couple of shadow books for Halloween and after two months I didnt get them. They refuse to return my money.

Avoid them.

I haven't yet received the three books I have ordered, despite having ordered them on 13th December. I did receive an order update telling me that there would be a delay in delivery, which I fully understand is sometimes unavoidable. However, what I am disappointed in is the lack of communication I have received from the company following their initial email to say there would be a delay a week after I ordered the product. Instead, I have had to constantly check for updates on my order and have just found out my order won't arrive until 6th January. I think an improvement in communication is certainly needed, especially as I will now need to find a very last minute substitute present for my child and nephews for our late family Christmas celebrations.

I love the concept of this product. I bought the Wizard of Oz set for my granddaughter. But I was disappointed in the truncated version of the story (as if the publisher needed to wrap it up quickly, sans melting of the Wicked Witch and minus any flying monkeys). The puppets aren't very sturdy. One evening of careful use already shows signs of wear and tear. The set seems overpriced for what you get. The gift was promising, but color me a bit disappointed.

We ordered shadowplay as Christmas gifts and my 4 year old and 1 year old both loved them. My son begged for more so we ordered another set. This time we ordered the companion puppets and he loves to work those as I light the normal story. I appreciate the written story too as it’s been a while since I heard some of these!!

The quality of the books and cut outs are wonderful. This is a family project/activity, not a bedtime read. Great for family game night or camp outs.
It took multiple attempts in different settings to get the light, distance and height just right to display the shadow, and several sets of hands.
The only light that we've found to work is the phone flashlight. We tried flashlights, lamps, camp lanterns. As the website says, a light with one bulb, no reflectors or lens works best.
My 5 year old loves the shadows but the personages are her favorite.

Unique experience and encourages imagination without a digital screen. He has listened to it so many times that he has memorized the reading audio, so he can read it out load.

My daughter loves the cinderella book. She loves listening to the story and creating her own version

The Cinderella story is truly perfect for my book-loving, princess-obsessed 4-year-old! It's very well made and brings so much magical creativity to the story. My daughter loves it and I bought one for each niece and nephew.

I was so excited about the books but so horrified by the yards of plastic they came wrapped in it ruined the experience. Each book was wrapped in three layers of bubble wrap and a separate plastic wrap sleeve. If you enjoy destroying our planet, this book is for you.

My dad purchased two of these for my kids. The cut outs are really cool and the concept is awesome. However, the way the cutouts fold out make it difficult for one parent to make the shadows and read at the same time. You need two hands for the cut out portion of the book alone. Additionally, though the cut outs are excellent, the stories are poorly written.

Combination of storytelling and shadows play! My kids loved it. We were reading and acting the characters, playing with voices, creating our own stories everyone had fun.
We picked “The Snow Queen” story that was a great addition to our Elf from the Shelf tradition. There so many activities you can create with this book!
Plus, it’s gadget free family bonding time.
Good gift for coming holidays!

The physical book is very nicely made. The cutouts are sharp and look good. I purchased the Halloween book. I was very disappointed in the actual story. The book has a picture of a witch riding on a broom. The story is about two kids who's vegetable garden comes alive. Hardly a spooky Halloween story. Nothing to do with a witch. Again, very disappointed.

This is a unique idea yet brings back happy memories of a hand shadow book that my parents (I am 75) used when I was a child. I love that all children can see it at the same time, and it is a shared experience. Imagination is a treasured gift and I love to create opportunities for my grandchildren to use their minds and find joy. I am thrilled at the artistic excellence of the book. Thank you for creating this!

I previously ordered The Little Prince and The Jungle book and now have the Halloween story on the way. I bought these books to use in my kindergarten classroom, honestly I haven’t read it yet to the class, however, I did open the books and have already experimented on how to cast the shadows in our classroom. As an adult, this was very exciting so I can only imagine what the students’ reactions would be. Since it’s a public school, I decided that some words in the Little Prince and The Jungle Book might be frowned upon if I use it so I may use either a different word or emit it completely. If these were my own children, I wouldn’t mind at all but I just don’t want to get phone calls or emails from parents about a “language” I used. I read the Halloween story prior to ordering it, to make sure the words are ok to use in the classroom. I can’t wait to read it to our kinders! If I may, I would like to make a suggestion about the pages, which I think would be much better in a classroom setting. I wish that each scene is on its own page, and the pages were not connected to each other. Basically, I wished, they are “loose leafed”. That way, one scene is projected at a time as you read about it then change the scene like turning another page of the book. I feel like since all the pages are tied together and when casted, there’s just so many images at a time that can be a distraction, kids may not pay attention to what you are reading to them and may get lost in the story. Showing one scene at a time would be much better. When I plan to show/read in class, I may have to cover up some of the scenes so kids are just focused on that part of story at a time, as I read it to them. Maybe you could create a different version of the book with “loose leaves” as an “educator” pack. Would love to be the first one to know if this idea would come into fruition :)

I got the Halloween story last year for you grandchildren. It was a fun way that I could celebrate with them though I don’t see them on Halloween. I was told that they enjoyed the book a lot. Also, there are many different levels of play and room for imagination with the separate stick shadow puppets, reading the story, looking at the story in shadows. So fun!

I received the book as a gift for my son's birthday. It wasn't easy to figure it out at the beginning, but my child showed imagination and now every evening we fall asleep with Shadow play. Sometimes we fantasize and invent our own fairy tale with heroes. The child is happy and so am I, now if we are asked: "What do we want as a gift?" I know what my son wants. This will be a new book of Shadow play.

These shadow books are high quality memory makers that can add some hygge into your cold winter evenings.

The shadow books are simply amazing! I love how my kids can play with them for hours and be entertained. I also appreciate the many ways you can play with them! In the dark and also using it as silhouettes! I highly recommend them. The quality of the books are also amazing! They are thick and sturdy!
