I genuinely would not have been able to be at 28 videos within less than six months without the structured content and amazing support of coaches such as Tina (my own personal coach), Daniel, Jimmy, Murray and others at CGE. Each coach brings a unique perspective to the training thus expanding one's understanding of the YT process.

I started as a complete newbie in April, with absolutely NO experience creating content. The study modules and live weekly sessions made it possible for me to ramp up my learning curve, and that says a great deal given I am in my 50's with limited tech/AI experience. I'm learning so much from CGE! I'm over 60 and had zero experience with recording and editing videos. My coach Daniel has been great about answering my questions and giving direction. Everybody has been incredibly helpful since we joined in early July this year. The course content has been helpful, and I'm looking forward to learning more.

Shane and his team are true pros. I was assigned to work with Murray and he has taken me from just starting my channel, to producing on a regular basis and refining my processes to find clients I love working with. We're at just under 10K subs up from double digits when we began in addition to actually having strategy to execute on a weekly basis.

We really enjoyed working with Jimmy Marshal, his personalized advice for our situation makes a big difference. The original reason we joined Content Growth Engine was to find a way to generate leads for our business which still hasn’t changed but Jimmy has been great on helping us with that game plan.

Every interaction with Tina is pleasant, practical, and educational. She understands that my YouTube topic, trade shows, is a small niche, and that growing an audience will take creative angles and more work than simply chasing popular keywords. We’re just beginning to explore some new approaches, and I appreciate that she’s willing to think through what might work for my channel.
Her YouTube experience shows. She has a keen eye for thumbnails, brings fresh ideas to our meetings, and follows up promptly with a recap, clear next steps, and helpful links. I always leave knowing what to work on.
I also want to be transparent about my results. By the end of this six-month, $10,000 program, I expect to have fewer than 100 subscribers, and my videos are currently getting fewer than 50 views each. I run two companies, so I haven’t been able to give the channel the time this niche demands. This has been a challenging investment for me, and I wouldn’t want anyone to assume that five stars means fast or easy growth.
My five stars are for Tina. She’s knowledgeable, attentive, creative, and consistently follows through. I’m glad to have her in my corner as I keep working to find the right audience.

At first I was overwhelmed by how much I needed to learn in what seemed like a short period of time. But my coach, Pat, has been amazing and patient and so helpful with clear and specific directions to follow. After the course and coaching is over, each student will have to stand on their own merits and that is what they are also teaching: independence and tenacity. Giving all the tools they can and meeting you where you are, whether you are experienced or not, but showing you a path you can walk if you choose to put in the work. I am so excited to be working with this team, they are genuinely passionate about teaching and helping others to grow.

Working with Jimmy at Content Growth Engine is better than expected. Before joining, I really wanted to start a YouTube channel and had even put out a video or two, but I kept finding endless reasons to procrastinate or convince myself things needed to be perfect before I could finish them. I honestly thought I could figure the whole thing out completely on my own.
Working with Jimmy completely changed that. I realized I actually needed a lot more pushing than I was willing to admit. He holds me accountable to tackle the exact tasks I didn't necessarily want to do, but which I ultimately needed to do to make real progress.

Luke Voss did a great job in finding out my problems with other platforms or coaches in establishing businesses. Some of them never bothered to follow up. Going through that experience gave me confidence that despite the hefty coaching fee I will finally have the care and guidance I need in my YouTube channel journey. Murray Frost did a great onboarding call and explained the details of the program. He handed me over to Jimmy Marshall as my permanent coach because he was the best fit in terms of my Christian background and timezone requirements. I joined Content Growth Engine hoping to overcome a problem I had struggled with for about a year: perfectionism that kept me making videos without finishing them. I wanted structure, accountability, and support to help me move forward.

The money-back guarantee was a major reason I enrolled. In promotional videos and during my one-on-one sales conversations, I was assured that the program would be refundable if it didn’t work. I signed up the very day I was laid off. I was vulnerable and looking for a way forward, and those assurances helped convince me to take what felt like a leap of faith.

I want to be fair: I have not been able to put the time and effort into the program that I originally intended. I take responsibility for that, and I cannot evaluate the results of fully completing it. What I can speak to is my experience with the sales process and the support afterward.

Since enrolling, I have received only two Discord messages from the team, and my emails have gone unanswered. When I reached out because I wanted to speak with someone about getting properly started, I was told there would be no refund. My attempts to continue the conversation have since been ignored.

That has been especially upsetting given the reassurance I received before paying. I believed I was joining a program that would support new creators through their difficulties. Instead, I have felt dismissed when asking for help.

It has now been two months, and I have not yet spoken to a coach. The feedback I received from the customer success manager was basic and largely amounted to telling me what I had done well. I needed specific, actionable guidance about what to improve and how to move forward.

The possibility of a monthly $1,000 charge is now hanging over me while I feel I am getting little value from the program. I have also been disappointed with the recommended editing tools. The Icahn method, as I experienced it, felt too close to reproducing other creators’ work for my comfort.

I recognize that some people have had positive experiences and benefited from the program. My experience has been different. What I hoped would help me move forward has become one of the biggest sources of stress in my life.

I feel embarrassed about joining under these circumstances, but I’m sharing my experience so someone in a similar position can make a more informed decision. Before enrolling, get the exact refund conditions and support commitments in writing. The gap between the reassurance I received during signup and the response afterward has left me feeling deeply let down.
