Shareware DO NOT care & WILL NOT share…
Shareware DO NOT care and they WILL NOT share your own personal medical records that you are entitled to as a patient. I, as well as the medical facility, has requested records for over a year. We completed the authorization forms more than once so these records could be submitted to the appropriate facility. They DO NOT respond. The last communication I had with Sharecare, last week, was via chat. I threatened seeking an attorney. The woman seemed interested in helping at that point. Once I began uploading screenshots of documents verifying authorizations had been sent, she immediately dropped the chat Who are these CARELESS people?

How can you hire Sharecare in good conscience for your records???
I am really unclear why medical offices use this service. Hire me, I will do a better job and not charge as much.
-Sharecare is consistently unable to locate a record.
-Sharecare turnaround time delays care, sort of detrimental to patients with critical illnesses.
-Sharecare will mail records 70% of the time despite request for fax or electronic receipt. Records are often sent to the wrong clinic if they mail it. Information is not always complete
-Sharecare does not seem to actually know Hippa.
-Sharecare staff has the unfortunate task of following scripts that have proven unhelpful.

If this could be a zero, it would
If this could be a zero it would - I have called 6 times to attempt to get me medical records, resubmitted forms 3 times and still have yet to have all my medical history transferred to my new care. They keep saying previous history is hospital visits, which when I corrected they seem to forget everytime I call this is the case. Then when I submit a changed form based on what they say, their 'processing team' still says it is insufficient after filling out the form in tandem while being on the phone with a support staff member. This has been over 80 days to receive my medical records, I have filed a complaint with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights.
This is an absolutely worst company. I am currently on hold for my 7th phone call as I write this review.
You are a joke I had to wait for you to…
You are a joke I had to wait for you to submit an invoice 3-5 business day. Haven't even filled out my paper work and say you have another 5-7 days to file the paper work. I asked for a supervisor and left me on hold for over 10 minutes and counting. This program needs to be improved or shut down. Your organization is a mess. Now I just go notice to file my paperwork it is $75 to fill out my leave packet when it states on the paper work that Orthepedic Center of the Rockies in For Collins Colorado gave me I had to pay a one time fee of $25 for all my paper work to be filled out. OCR and any company needs to drop this scam artists of a company.
Wish I can give a zero
Wish I can give a zero. Since when do doctors not give you your records. Complete cluster ;()$&
Awful company/organization
This company/organization is awful in dealing with customers and performing their jobs, and does not even deserve any star.
I submitted disability paperwork for my wife and a customer service promised to get it done within 5-7 days after paying the fees. After 10 days, I did not hear back. I called and speak with a very rude, unprofessional customer rep who promised to put the work in "rush" and send it in 24-48 hours. After two weeks, they still did not send me back the paper work. So, I call the doctor office and its staff called and pushed this company to get the paper work done.
I don't know how BBB rated this company A. It should be an F.
To all medical doctor organizations out there, please DO NOT use this company to do anything.
They are the worst
Awful. I'm on my way to getting a breast reduction and due to circumstances, had to do my last three physical therapy appointments with ProRehab, not a bad place. ProRehab is partnered with Sharecare. When I attempted to get my records SIX months ago, I was rejected by Sharecare for having an invalid signature on my release forms. When I attempted to fix this signature through Sharecare, they lost my mail supposedly since they do not take online corrections. when asked on two separate occasions what happened to my mail, I got two different answers. One being they do not take corrections (when their forms clearly say they do in the corner) and that my mail was just misplaced. They would they tell me to fix the mistake through ProRehab which was a whole other dilemma since ProRehab didn't see what was wrong with my signature and why Sharecare wouldn't accept it. ProRehab would only tell me to fix this with Sharecare. It was just this stupid roundabout for six months trying to get my record for THREE appointments. Sharecare even rejected the surgical clinic for my records. I didn't get the records until my mother had to threaten ProRehab with a formal complaint about how they were denying my rights. Finally, I think ProRehab got onto Sharecare. Thank God right because they were useless the entire time, both of them, what the hell. Anyway Sharecare sucks and they call center follows a scripts so they don't answer anything. Also they're outdated since what they told me doesn't align with their return forms.
I’m out of work on short term…
I’m out of work on short term disability and my medical provider at Ortho Carolina uses Sharecare for their FMLA and STD medical records resource. I submitted my medical records request 3 times in which they stated they never received. I had my providers office send the medical forms and request 2 times and they finally received them. My STD case manager reached out to Sharecare for my medical records and never received them. I tried calling Sharecare several times always unable to get someone on the phone. I received an email from them requesting payment for my medical records to be released, in which I paid and they still didn’t send my records. I emailed them several times with no reply and because of their lack of communication and service, I almost had my STD and FMLA denied. I had to get my medical providers office to help me get medical records sent. They took over a month after I paid the fee to send my medical records. I have to extend my leave and now they are charging me again to just send updated medical records. This company is ridiculous!! Their level of service is a 0!! They don’t reach out, keep you updated, return phone calls or emails. I will never again deal with this company!!
2+ Months to Get Records
Requested medical records via email Dec. 15. Never received them. Contacted them to check and they sent another email with no attachment, no download link. Contacted them again and was told that electronic records access does not work with Mac. EYEROLL. They asked to mail the records. Records never arrived. Contacted them for the THIRD time, and customer service rep insisted they were delivered. As I am on the phone with her, I receive 2 texts and 3 emails, one of which contains a link that FINALLY allows me to download my emails (so I guess it does work with a Mac). This took 2+ months!!
Pitiful
Pitiful. I thought that Medi Share was bad, but this company that Knoxville Orthopedic Center has switched to is absolutely pathetic. Over a month has gone by and I STILL haven't received a call just to pay to get my Union A&S paperwork STARTED. Promises is all I get...
Impossible to retrieve medical records
Impossible to retrieve medical records. I called ShareCare at the request of my doctor's office who outsource their record filing with them. I needed basic records sent from my previous doctor to my new doctor. I called 4 times, kept on hold for over 20 minutes on each hold, and was never connected with an agent. I even tried their online chat feature and was told by the chatbot that I needed to call the designated team handling Tufts records. I never got the records I needed from Share Care and had to start fresh from what I could view in MyChart on my own.
All my years of dealing with fmla paperwork this has been the worse
I've been with my employer for 10 years now, I've worked and dealt with FMLA paperwork numerous times over the course of my ten years of being there. Not once have I ever had to pay to get paperwork filled out, it has never been this complicated or stressful to try and get paperwork done. I'm on a pregnancy leave from my job because I am unable to safely perform the duties my job requires of my during my pregnancy. My job thought it best to go ahead and put me on leave to prevent any possible injuries to me or my baby. I submitted this paperwork on November 27th to my Doctor who then informed me that this company Sharecare, takes care of all their FMLA paperwork now. That right there was my first red flag because how is someone in another state going to accurately be able to fill out the paperwork I need in order to get my leave approved? Fast forward to today after charging 50 dollars and not even sending me these forms until December 19th late enough in the afternoon that their offices were closing up for the day. Once I reviewed the paper work I immediately noticed that the paperwork was filled out incorrectly and my employer would not accept it. I had to wait until the following Monday to contact them and tell them of the errors, only for the lady to tell me she was submitting a request for the "form specialist" to take a look at it again. Clearly, it got put in the "deal with after the holidays" pile because the office was closed from 12.24 to 12.28. I reached back out today and they said you just submitted a request it will take time. meanwhile I had to file an appeal with my employer today because they denied my fmla due to lack of paperwork, because of how long it's taken to get this filled out and corrected. I do not understand the need to outsource patients' paperwork to third-party companies, knowing that this is people's livelihoods and health on the line. This company does not care about their "customers" only the money that they're scamming out of peoples pockets to maybe get correct forms filled out eventually.
I have had 3 major surgeries in my life…
I have had 3 major surgeries in my life and never once had an issue getting paperwork sent for LOA .. I went to the Dr on Dec 3 . Called Sharecare immediately after the visit to let them know I needed paperwork sent to Sedgwick. I called again 2 different times to see why Sedgwick had not received them and only TODAY Dec 18 found out I needed to pay $35 . They had not even contacted the Dr I needed the paperwork from much less sent it in. Now my LOA has been denied and I may lose my job of 40 years because Sharecare does not even try to give you the information you need to get the process even started much less completed. If I could give 0 stars I would.
The most incompetent people working at…
The most incompetent people working at this place with the absolute worst service. Vulnerable patients are at their mercy for medical records if a facility chooses to manage their records with Sharecare. Taking weeks to process medical records is unacceptable with no option for STAT records. Completely unacceptable.
ShareCare gaslighting and incompetence
Have been trying to get my elderly mother's records copied and sent to her memory care facility since late June. It's November. Nothing is done digital, it's all fax (40 year old technology) and USPS, another slow inefficient service. I could have walked the records myself in last 4 months that have elapsed.
Upon calling them again this week, they claim they received the initial request and mailed them to the wrong address. Gave us a "Case Number" and apologized. Said the record can't be faxed as it's too large and has to be USPS. Another call placed today and they say the memory care facility has to request the records, not my mom or her DPOA. One would think someone would have notified us of this months ago when they didn't have a problem mailing to an unknown address. WTF? So memory care facility calls, gives them the "case number" and ShareCare gaslights them by saying they never received the initial request.
So I leave this review today and will be sending a letter via Fedex to the CEO of the hospital that uses them.
Genuinely the worst copy service out…
Genuinely the worst copy service out there. Extremely rude and hostile. Which is incredibly impressive considering how horrible CIOX already is. Ignores emails and support tickets, is rude to you on the phone and straight up will leave chat if they don't like the fact you're pushing back on the fact that they aren't fulfilling your record requests. Shit show. I would genuinely pay money to never have to interact with this company ever again.
Awful experience trying to get MEI…
Awful experience trying to get MRI records from a Shields MRI in Worcester. I will never deal with ShareCare again!
Not a serious site for patients
I tried to leave a review of my terrible psychiatry treatment, and was told by the website that you're not allowed to post any reviews that contain the words "abuse" or "mistreatment".
This site's patient-side support is a joke.
Worst medical record request experience…
Worst medical record request experience ever. Still trying to fix a situation after a week and was quoted 1-2 business days after payment. I have made Multiple inquiries and it is a complete nightmare and I still don't have the documentation I Need for work.
