They will take your shipment and start pressuring you for extra money. If they do that, stay firm and reach out to FMCSA and FTC with a complaint. Go to court. Know your rights and don't giving in to their pressure.

1. This company is offering people over $1000 to remove their negative reviews on this website. Check other websites see what the real rating is.
2. This company is just a middleman for actual shipping companies. They don't own any trucks or warehouses, and they don't employ any movers themselves. This means customer support is useless, and their quotes can't be trusted.
3. My experience with this company was a delivery 3x later and 2x more expensive than initially quoted.

These guys are sharks. Go with a real moving company

Our Ship Smart experience was excellent. We found their team to be responsive, professional, and they performed as agreed. We paid the extra amount to have the items moved into the house, unwrapped, and the wrapping materials were then removed from the house by the moving team. Ours was a small move from Amelia Island, FL to Chicago, IL. Small, but the items were precious to my mother. Most important was a 110 year old wicker tea cart. We even included a note that said "please treat this like your favorite great grandmother". The tea cart arrived in perfect condition, as well as the other furniture and boxes we packed. Honestly, it could not have gone more smoothly.

We were looking for a shipping option from scottsdale, Arizona to central minnesota. This company was professional, curteous, and helpful from day one. We received frequent updates…and our 238 pound metal giraffe arrived this week. It was packed great…no damage and the communication from company outstanding. I highly recommend this company for cross country shipping.

The experience was excellent, from the first conversation to build the quote through delivery of the items. ShipSmart colleagues were knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. I will definitely use ShipSmart again!

The packing that Ship Smart does is amazing. I had my grandmother's platform rocker shipped with other items. It was packed & protected so beautifully, nothing could have hurt it. Because of this, I used you again for a second time. I have recommended you and will use you anytime I need to. P.S. Your delivery time is perfect-always when my neighbor comes home from work & offers to help unpack ; ).

ShipSmart is easy to work with! Fast response times, great follow up, service options available, and they are very kind. They fill a niche market in helping me service my account relocation needs. I’ve used them for about 10 years and wouldn’t use anyone else.

I used Ship Smart services last summer to move my belongings out of state. The length of time for delivery was delay for about two weeks from the schedule date. The company send only the driver to deliver all the items without no helper. My husband had to be the helper. The final payment was triple the price from the initial quote. I spend more money that I anticipated. I had other quotes from other companies, but I went with Ship Smart thinking I would be saving money in comparison with the other companies, but in the long round it did not pay off. We packed the fragile items in boxes and well padded, and marked the the boxes fragile, but we receive these items broken up and chair foot was also broken. The positive aspect is that we receive all of our boxes and the truck driver was friendly.

** Update -- Smart Ship is going to reimburse me approximately $450 to go towards the repair of my furniture that was damaged during the move. Good customer service to satisfy an unhappy customer.

Buyer Beware with Ship Smart. I was moving 5 pieces of furniture from New Jersey to Georgia. These were items that belonged to my mother that I received after she passed away several months ago. These items are family heirlooms; antiques and lots of sentimental value. The original move estimate was $950 and I told them over the phone that seemed low. They readjusted to $1,100. After packing the items and moving to a warehouse, the estimate jumped to $2,200. I had no recourse as my items were in a warehouse. I have a driveway that is 100 yards long. Ship Smart wanted an additional $700 to move the items from the cul de sac to the front of my house. When I unpacked the items from the crates, two were damaged! They were poorly packed in the crates. A 75 year old bakers rack had a bent leg. A 75 year old coffee table legs had come apart. I did get insurance, but the deductible is $250 per piece and the repairs will be less than that. So disappointed and unimpressed with the service!! I should have used the local mover in New Jersey and paid a little more. I would not be dealing with the aggravation of getting these family treasures repaired.

From pickup to delivery and the communication throughout the shipment was excellent!!! Recommend highly!

This was a shipment 25 years in the making. My grandmother's cedar chest sat dilapidated in her garage in the 80s. A family member decided to refurbish it and restored it to a condition that was better than when it was purchased almost 80 years prior to its garage days. Sadly, it sat again for another 25 years in an old farmhouse in rural North Dakota, along with my grandmothers Prarie rose dishes. Prarie rose is the state flower of North Dakota, my birth place, the place I never wanted to leave but life had a different plan. So, after 25 years of living in an aunts attic I decided it was time for ALL of these things to become fully mine. ShipSmart was the ONLY company that get these precious items from North Dakota to Kentucky. It came much faster than quoted and in perfect condition. A piece of my heart is with me now. If I can't be home I can carry them with me wherever I move to next. Interesting side note, some of the china was wrapped by my mom and aunt. They used newspaper that was dated September 11, 2001. How on earth could I possibly throw that away?? Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This is the second time I've used ShipSmart to carry items across the country to my daughter that had belonged to my parents or my family while growing up. They treated these items like they were priceless museum pieces, even though they were worth that only to us.
They are worth every penny, in my estimation.

I just wanted to say that ShipSmart offers an invaluable service, taking care of the small large shipment for regular folks, not a house or apartment's worth, but more than a box or two--I'm just thankful I found you! Everyone I interacted with was professional, helpful, kind, punctual, informative, you name it. Our main coordinator was one of the best people I've had the pleasure to work with in any area, and the folks who took over later in the process were great! Thanks to them and the whole team who made our furniture shipment possible!

We had antique furniture, paintings and musical instruments delivered from Charleston, SC to Salt Lake City, UT. in November 2021.

We had a smaller load than a regular moving company wanted to deal with. I was informed that Ship Smart was the best way to handle the move.

From start to finish, Ship Smart came through for us.

The staff that assisted with the initial booking were quite helpful and knowledgeable.

The movers that packed the items were careful and respectful. We were kept in the loop from the pickup, notification of shipment and arrival in Salt Lake. The furniture was delivered into the house in perfect condition after setting an appointment time.

I highly recommend this company for any kind of move and would not hesitate to employ their services again. AAA+ company!

It's pretty nerve-racking figuring out which company to trust your possessions with. I had Ship Smart pick up my things from a storage unit and drive it across the country, and all the communication went smoothly and everyone was professional. Usually there are some frustrations in a process like this, but every person I talked to did their job well. Usually calling in and dealing with someone you've never talked to before can be frustrating, but everyone I dealt with was great, from operators to the person at the warehouse to the truck driver who delivered.

From the time we dropped our shipment of family heirloom furniture (over 500 precious pounds) we felt the package was in great hands. When it arrive d here in Anchorage and unpacked it we were astounded how well it had been handled.

Every stage of this move of my beloved mother's unusual sofa was top notch. Great, clearly explained procedure, plenty of goal-focused contact from customer service agents, they connected me to the pickup shipping contractor, I had confirmation in real time that all had been picked up appropriately. They assigned one customer service person to handle the whole procedure for the phone portion. Delivered on time, cheerfully, efficiently, quickly, handled the sofa with "kid gloves", and they absolutely knew what they were doing loading the sofa into my home, spotlessly. If I could give an 11 out of 10 review, I would!

As part of my attempt to move a small number of items from one coast to the other, there was some confusion at the loading site regarding the contents of my contract. It resulted in far more items being moved then I had desired. In retrospect, I strongly recommend that individuals be present at the loading site when possible. It will help alleviate confusion and clarify any questions. That said, Ship Smart was able to reimburse me for the amount that was in question. Greatly appreciate their professionalism and responsiveness!

I was very happy with my experience with Ship Smart Inc. The packers came promptly and very quickly loaded my boxes onto the pallets and shrink-wrapped them securely. I was contacted when my shipment arrived at the distribution center in order to arrange delivery. I had to change the delivery date several times due to circumstances beyond my control and the local shipper was very accommodating. The boxes were delivered when promised and everything was in very good condition.

My parents have recently passed and I am selling the family home. The china cabinet that Shipsmart shipped from NY to FL was my Grandmother's. It is oval in shape, lots of glass, antique and very delicate.
Your guys came and wrapped that china cabinet over and over! My family and I were in awe as we watched them load it onto the truck.
Several weeks later, we were notified it was ready for delivery in FL. I was not back in FL yet, but my daughter was home to receive the delivery. She told me she held her breath (knowing how much it means to me to get my Grandmother's china cabinet here) as the guys unwrapped it, and it was PERFECT! This china cabinet is over 80 years old and means SO MUCH TO ME!!!
I now have it displayed in my dining room, and I love it!!!
I am so appreciative of Shipsmart and their spectacular service!!!
I HIGHLY recommend them!!!
