Went into Greenwich store and spoke with Shannon who was friendly and really helpful with any questions I had about the storage and really informative. Helped me set everything up efficiently

Great pricing and app is very easy to use.

A business that relies on customers’ underestimations of how long they need to store things for. They offer the most expensive units for £1 (actually £20 after mandatory insurance that you can’t opt out of) for the first month knowing full well that over 70% of users will run over and have to pay in full for month 2. They USED to only charge you for the extra days you run over, but now charge you the entire month even if you go over one day.

Then there’s the lock scam. You need to buy their own unique overpriced lock that can be drilled in five seconds.

On top of all that their units are just very expensive. One that you could barely get four people stood up in is £100

Its not £1 for first month as you have to take out their insurance, then you have to buy one of their locks. So a little bit sly but that all said it is a very simple process and very efficient and easy to use, allowing access with your mobile phone to gates and lifts is nice and easy. All kept clean and tidy.
Not sure about the check out time seems again a bit sly that you have to give notice 15 days before the anniversary date or you will be charged a whole month again. It should be up to about 7 days before.
Would be more stars if it wasn't for all the sly bits trying to get more of your money.

Easy to book, helpful staff and very convenient for access

No reminders sent at the end of the first (introductory offer period) month and as such it’s virtually guaranteed that shurgard get their second months money out of their customers- I don’t need to be there for 2 months but that’s what I’ll end up paying for. Underhand.

Extortionate price increases of 20% every 6 months. Never see it manned so cannot understand the increase at all. What once seemed reasonable is no longer. Its daylight robbery. Find another storage company.

I am very pleased with the service provided by the Shurgadr Storage team in Greenwich. They found a suitable room for me on the spot, drew up a contract and I received comprehensive explanations to all my questions. New equipment at a fairly low price. I recommend it.

The process and procedure for hiring was clear and concise. The only feedback was that nobody clicked the button to give me my access code. It was only delivered on the first day of rent after call three times regarding the subject.

Our experience with Shurgard Storage was excellent.

The facility was easily accessible and the whole process was simple and straightforward. We dealt mostly with Caroline, who was particularly helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist.

Highly recommend Shurgard for anyone looking for reliable and hassle-free storage!
