I have been on a 50% discount rental…
I have been on a 50% discount rental for years. I currently pay £444 per month (this would be £888 if I did not have the special deal. If I was applying for the same unit at the moment I have been quoted £70 per week increasing to £94 per week. This is a massive difference in cost . I spoke to South Croydon branch about it but the girl was rude and unhelpful. Apparently I cannot even transfer to a new unit, if I do then they will cancel my contract. I thought I was saving money but clearly my years of loyalty have cost me a lot.

Dear customer, we always try to provide our customers the best value for money and understand that a rent increase is never welcome. We invite you to your storage center to go through the different options and maybe move to a cheaper unit. Sure we will be able to find a solution together.

Appalling Customer Service
Appalling customer service. I bought a roll of bubble wrap, which, after the first couple of lengths, had no bubbles and was just flat plastic. I took it back but was refused a refund. I'm not sure why - because I'd used some of it I think. I'm having to take things further because they are in breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 which states goods must be fit for purpose. They kept saying they'd look into it (?) and get back to me but they never did. I really don't understand what the problem is. I'm awaiting a response from their Head Office. This relates to the Brighton Road store, South Croydon. As this was a one off purchase I do not have a customer number.
