Very easy to work with. Transaction was smooth. Shipping was really fast and I got the unit sooner than I expected it. Everyone I communicated with was helpful, informative and friendly.
The part arrived very quickly. The instructions were very short on details. However, the unit worked as described and have had no issues! My boat water tank finally has a viable measurement system!

The core product is the PICO battery monitor - a compact, full-colour touchscreen display that monitors battery state of charge, voltage, current, and runtime. PICO is modular and expandable, connecting to Simarine extension modules for additional battery banks, tank sensors, temperature probes, appliance monitoring, and NMEA 2000 integration. A free companion app for Android and iOS provides wireless access via Bluetooth. VIA is a digital switching system for campervans and RVs, combining a control panel with a 12 V power distribution unit. It monitors and controls batteries, tanks, solar input, lighting, water pump, heating, and other appliances from a single panel. Nereide 2 is a digital switching solution for yachts, with PICO battery monitoring built in and NMEA 2000 compatibility. It is an OEM fit in yachts by HanseYachts AG, including Hanse, Dehler, and Fjord brands. The STR radar tank level sender series (STR1 and STR2) uses contactless radar technology to measure fluid levels in tanks, compatible with PICO and major third-party monitoring systems (Patent Pending – EP26171650.0). Simarine products are sold through an international dealer network, with full technical documentation and support.

Great solution to a tank problem
I have a plastic tank on my boat which over the years have become impossible to see the fuel level. I have long considered fitting a tank meter, but did not fancy drilling holes etc.
After seeing an advert from Simarine on Facebook for a radar based tank meter, I made a few checks to ensure that the company had good reviews and was for real. I placed an order for the STR1.
Instructions were clear and I installed the device and had it set up within 10 minutes. I was also pleased to find out that the STR1 is compatible with the Victron Cerbo GX.
So in a nutshell, I am a very happy customer with a device that works really well, is accurate and did not cost a lot of money.

Great product shame about having to pay…
Great product shame about having to pay vat on import and paying Europe vat when it was an export. £57 on top of purchase price.

What a great company with perfect service.
What a great company with great products and a really great service department.
My Pico display stopped working during a firmware update. I contacted Simarine's support department who asked me to send my display directly to them. After about a week with good communication through David from Simarine's service department, I got my display back in perfect condition at no cost, even though the warranty had expired.
This is world class service.
