This process took longer than anticipated, and there were moments when I worried it might be a scam. While I acknowledge my own elusiveness in direct contact contributed to delays, once we were in sync, the team truly went above and beyond to finalize everything. Accepting the complexities of this process can be tough, but the team at Simple Liquidation helped me understand and complete the tasks with ease. A special thank you to Ellie Brown for her meticulous attention to detail and calm demeanour, which made everything feel manageable on my end.

I wasn’t sure about not using a more traditional company for my voluntary liquidation but I’m really pleased I went with Simple Liquidation. Simple Liquidation made a very upsetting situation better by taking on our worries and concerns.
They were all helpful and professional and our position was resolved within six months from start to finish.

Cost effective, quick and efficient - accommodated my very demanding target-timeframe during a period which was obviously extremely busy due to marketplace conditions of that particular time. As self-contained as could be. Regulations did require external professional services to be provided as part of my overall need - however, this was also made as efficient as possible by connecting me into partner organisations. This created yet more efficiencies and cost savings. Excellent. Would recommend.

Like others, I had a very bad experience with a lack of communication - no replies to emails, telephone messages and I even sent a recorded delivery letter that was never replied to.
One particularly bad situation was when some money was taken from my Business bank account. As you might imagine, I thought my account had been hacked. I left various messages to try to understand if this was connected to the liquidation. I got absolutely no answer to this worrying concern. After some days, the Bank told me that the money was taken by Leading Business which was also confusing as all communication previously been from Simple Liquidation. It was only later, I realised this was the same company.
To this day, I have no idea what happened to money taken from my account (an HMRC VAT refund) and have never had any communication telling whether the liquidation is completed.

I feel the communication could have been better as it’s such a worrying time going through this. But I appreciate that there were challenges in the change of legislation and staff shortages and now that’s we’ve liquidated I feel calmer. Happy to recommend.

Over the past two years, there have been several changes in the person handling my case, none of whom seem to know what’s going on. Initially, I was told the process would take six months, but here we are, two years later, with no closure. It's already a difficult situation, and the lack of updates is making it even more frustrating.

As this was our first experience with this process, we were initially unaware of what to expect or how long it would take. Throughout the journey, there were moments when we felt confident that progress was being made, but at other times, we were left wondering if we were getting our money's worth. While some of the responses we received felt sincere and reassuring, others left us uncertain and doubtful. Ultimately, it took six months before we received the legal papers for signature. We've been informed that finalizing the closure of the company could take longer due to various external factors and parties involved. Could the experience have been better? It’s hard to say with certainty.

Also, I believe your client communications could be improved.
For example, now it has been completed, rather than reading a note from you about what happens next, I get a request to rate how good you were.
