St John Ambulance Cymru provides first aid treatment, training, and transport for communities across Wales. Our vision is simple: for everyone to get the first aid they need, anytime, anywhere. Each year, we train thousands of people across Wales through accredited courses led by qualified trainers. Our wide range of courses include 3 Day First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid at Work, mental health first aid, and health & safety training. Whether you're looking to build confidence in a medical emergency or improve safety standards in your workplace, we have a course to meet your needs. We offer workplace first aid training at centres across Wales including Cardiff, Wrexham, Swansea, Newport, Abergele, Bridgend, Abergavenny, Rhayader, and Deeside. Alternatively, we can come to you to deliver bespoke certified training at your workplace for groups of six or more. We work with young people, employees, and communities across Wales to make first aid knowledge accessible to everyone. Our trained volunteers deliver expert first aid cover at a wide range of public events, from sports matches to concerts, helping keep attendees safe. We offer transport services in partnership with the NHS, ensuring safe and reliable care for those who need it. Through our actions, we inspire others leading by example and supporting people to reach their full potential.

Excellent course

Excellent course, very informative with lots of hands on practical tasks, great atmosphere, very friendly and clear concise information. All in all a great course and an excellent teacher.

The trainer was very knowledgeable and…

The trainer was very knowledgeable and put us all at ease when taking part in all the different areas of training we received. The only negative was the room in which the training was held ,it was very dark as the windows had scaffolding and the overhead lights were very noisy

The efficiency and ease of booking…

The efficiency and ease of booking after easily finding what I wanted exceeded my expectations. Followed by the speed of confirmation emails and all the information this was the easiest and most efficient booking procedure I have used -

Trained and ready for action!

Very informative training with lots of practical aspects. Tanya is a very engaging and patient trainer - 10/10! Great to have the up to date first aid book to take away too.

FAAW 2 Day Refresher

The course was the usual FAAW course in a well run office with decent facilities on site. Checking in was easy with key cards provided to access the building after lunch. Our trainer, Lisa Nicholls, was superb. She is very knowledgable with a lot of world experience and very good at getting her point across to the audience. All in all it was the most enjoyable FAAW refresher course I have completed.
