This company made things so easy and the slate sign they made for my wife's garden is amazing 👏

It has taken me some time to write this review, as I’ve been trying to find the right words to accurately reflect the quality and care behind Slatework Signs.
My father recently lost his beloved dog and wanted a slate sign to commemorate her. We found Slatework Signs on Google, and I’m so grateful we did. It also means a lot to know we were supporting a UK business, especially when there are so many questionable alternatives out there.
We first purchased the Pet Photo in Heart Slate Personalised Memorial Plaque with Jute String (J4) to mark her grave, along with the Hand-Carved Memorial Pet Stone – Personalised Pebble Grave Marker for her favourite resting spot. The craftsmanship is outstanding, the engraving is crisp, the slate feels beautifully weighted, and the photo reproduction was far better than I expected. These items weren’t just products; they became a beautiful way to honour a much‑loved companion.
Tudy and Ian kindly agreed to create a custom house number sign, which I am forever thankful for as I wasn't able to find a high quality product on the internet. They were incredibly thoughtful throughout the process, checking details with us and making sure everything was exactly right. Their care and attention made the whole experience feel personal and reassuring.
Everything arrived beautifully packaged and well‑protected, which shows how much pride they take in their work. Every item exceeded our expectations in both quality and sentiment.
I wouldn’t hesitate to order from Slatework Signs again.

I was absolutely delighted with the memorial I recieved. You never know exactly what quality of product you're going to receive via online purchasing, but this has far exceeded my expectations.
It is of excellent quality, the slate is perfect condition, a decent thickness and size. The print is so clear and well spaced and positioned. The image I requested is perfect too. A beautiful image of a Robin sat on a poppy, high resolution, clear bright colours, no blurring. I couldn't have asked for anything better.
Also, the slate is fixed to 2 stone brackets which gives the item stability and the security of not falling over or being blown away. Its amazing quality for £39 I cannot say enough how pleased I am.

The company offered different size of house number sign than most others i found online. The 3 digit sign fit perfectly on my coping stone, rather than overhanging. The company kept me informed of my delivery progress and delivered on tine

So impressed with this company! Everything from the communication giving delivery schedule,( very quick ) down to the very substantial packaging, not only wrapped carefully but beautifully boxed too. The most impressive thing was the actual quality of the slate itself, and wasn't expecting it to be so thick. Writing and graphic looks great and im sure will last for years ! Will definitely buy another.

Beautiful signs that are very well made and there’s a huge range available. The time from the order to delivery is very quick and the staff are friendly and helpful. I bought a lovely sign for my bungalow and when I saw the quality I showed my daughter and I now have another on order for her as a birthday present.
