High pressure with lots of verbal promises!
We were told about what a good warren rt was on your product, how hassle free and problems would be handled and how accommodating the company and their personal would be if there was a problem with your product until; when after only two and a half weeks our mattress had two inch sunken areas and was causing me and my wife sore hips and shoulders due to the top matting sinking to a hard stiff area two to three inches deep in the mattress. After a couple calls to the store manager he became very curt on the phone and was almost smart alacky upon each contact with him. Would never buy from your co. again not because of the product but due to the attitude directed towards my wife and myself. The manager even lied about his schedule when I tried to schedule coming back to the store which was a two and a half hr. drive each way for me and I am a medically retired law enforcement officer and traveling that distance is a difficult task for me.

excellent service!
We were greeted by a very friendly and knowlegable salesperson. He found out what we wanted/needed and proceeded to sell us a great king size bed which came with free box springs and then we were also given 2 new pillows and a mattress cover to protect the mattress. I would highly recommend them. The delivery was right on time and done well-they even took away the old bed.

Friendly service, understood needs and did what they said
We really liked working with Alicia and appreciated her follow up to ensure we received good customer care even outside of the store for delivery. She did everything she said that she would and that is hard to find in sales.

Delivery Man did not call in the morning and did not arrive at appointed time
The mattress delivery person did not call in the morning of the delivery to let me know what time they would be arriving. Therefore, I expected they would arrive during my requested delivery block. When the mattress did not arrive during that time frame, I called the store, and was told the mattress would be delivered in the evening. When I left the house to do errands, I received a call from the mattress people requesting if they could deliver the mattress at an earlier time - I said no as I was planning to be out of the house until the scheduled delivery time in the evening. In the early afternoon I received another call that the mattress delivery folks are only 30 minutes away, when I had said that I would not be available at that time, forcing me to return home, for them to deliver the mattress, at a time that was both outside my requested delivery block and outside the time block they had said as well.

Not the worst, but I will never do business here again
I'll try to keep this short and to the points.
+Okay selection of mattresses in my price range
+Staff (Savi) was patient with me, knowledgeable about all the displays and for the most part made sure everything was properly handled
+Very simple and quick process, got my mattress in no time once everything was sorted out
+I liked both of my mattresses (even though I had to return one) and there was no problem getting an inspector to come out the first time. Happier with my exchange, but I don't see getting many years out of that Kingsdown before it turns to mush.
+Though not the friendliest (also not rude) and didn't offer to dispose/recycle my old mattress, the delivery guys were always on time and left no mess.
My issues are not with the store, but with Mattress Warehouse itself and the whole exchange process.
-Julie Cucina was quite rude when I spoke with her, tone speaks volumes. She did not understand my issue with the mattress/box spring, so I guess her failed comprehension manifested with nastiness. Just because a problem is unheard of, does not make it untrue.
-John ? I think he was like the regional manager or something, was kind of brash as well. Speaking to him, I felt rushed and like he could care less, another one to assume my issue with the mattress was nonexistent. He never returned calls, instead had someone else call me if I got a call back at all.
-It took about a month to get my mattress exchanged. They don't like exchanges. Each time I called, I was told something different and even the representative I spoke with was puzzled as to what was taking so long, until the last time he assured me he'd take care of it and I'd have my mattress the next day (which I did). His name regretfully escapes me.
-Also during this exchange process, Savi from the store did not return calls and was always busy when I called
-The box spring from my exchange mattress had the plastic label/logo at one of the corners half ripped off, by I'm assuming the movers. The box spring squeaks. By this time, I was so tired of dealing with Mattress Warehouse, I did not call to report this, but I did take photos and it is dated.

Defect Mattress
Got a defect Mattress and the sales person was not friendly at all after I went back to the store to point out the defect. The process of getting a replaced mattress is so confusing and long.

Friendly staff with expertise
We have purchased our bed at the shop located in Montgomery Mall, Bethesda.
We have long been searching for a mattress that fits us both, one of us being a 115 lbs stomach sleeper and the other a 205 lbs man who sleeps on his side.
After a long discussion and lying about on the beds for quite some minutes while the friendly salesmen entertained our three kids we have opted for a Tempurpedic. It worked fine but we weren't completely happy. We got it replaced through our salesman (Savi) who was reliable and kept his promises. We are still testing our new mattress.

Great Experience with knowledgable salesmen
We were in desperate need of a new mattress and went in to Mattress Warehouse to check it out. Our first salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful but we just wanted to check it out. We decided to go back the following week to make a final decision. Our second salesman, Paris was really wonderful and made me feel totally confident in our decision. I was very nervous to make such a large purchase and he helped us make an informed decision and answered all of our many questions! We really appreciated the service we received here and are happy so far with our purchase!

Terrible delivery experience
The delivery guys refused to take away my old mattress, would not even carry it down to the trash, which was on their way to their truck. It really spoiled the fun of getting a new mattress because I then had to haul the box spring and mattress downstairs by myself.

I think its important to have a great and knowledgeable staff when it comes to buying certain products, especially mattresses. The gentleman at the Westgate Durham NC Mattress Warehouse was awesome. Cannot find better quality service and they have great deals.
