I bought a Slimbook ProX 15 laptop about a year ago and I can't be happier with this purchase. The laptop is based on great hardware and its performance is very high.

The build quality is really high and I really doubt one could find a laptop with this quality standards and performance by a similar price from any other company.

The technical service is very good and fast. If you contact them via e-mail you'll get a quick response willing to help.

Excellent option to buy a computer with high quality and a very good price and to get an excellent post-purchase service.

It's really hard to find the right words to express the satisfaction I had buying my Executive 14 from Slimbook.

The machine is excellent, performant and beautiful. It arrived with SlimbookOS installed and for the first time in my life I bought a computer that did not need to be tweaked, reinstalled and hacked to fit my needs. It simply worked as expected.

But this is not Slimbook main point.

What really fascinated me was their pre and post sale support. They are quick, kind and with high tech skills. So much better compared to the classical support contact center of big techs.

I really wish good luck to this Spanish Company and I truly recommend everybody to buy from them, especially if your needs are above the average tech user.

Se me rompió la bisagra de sujección de la pantalla de mi portatil y a los pocos días ya estaba arreglado y de vuelta a casa. Felicitar al servicio técnico de Slimbook ;)

El servicio técnico es de primera, impresionante. Ten comprados dos ordenadores y además que estoy muy satisfecho con ellos una de las cosas más importantes para mí es el servicio postventa, y el de Slimbook está muy por encima del resto.

Review on the newest KDE Slimbook (got it today)

PROS:
* The company is really client-oriented, they answer very quickly on e-mail and solve every question. I asked to deliver the laptop as fast as possible, and I got it super fast shipped outside Europe - the assembly and testing took only 2 days. The even got me a TUX super key instead of the KDE logo on my request.

* Build quality is awesome
* Full GNU/Linux compatibility
* Great performance (with little struggle)

CONS:
* AMD controller didn't work on default KDE-Neon.
* Default Radeon driver is horrible (better install mesa-git and it will turn to a rocket). I really recommend the company to work on the default software, especially drivers (if it's shipped with KDE Neon it's worth to refine it a little)
*Keyboard backlight makes the keys even less legible

Conclusion:
It's just great for my needs. Had some trouble with drivers and horrible performance until I installed another distro and mesa-git drivers. The overall impression is fantastic except some minor issues. 4 stars only to remind the company to continue improving these products until they replace the monopoly corporations. Good luck!

Compré un ordenador ProX 15 de procesador AMD en 2020. Todo ha funcionado perfecto.

Hace un par de meses el teclado no respondía correctamente y contacté con el servicio técnico. Las respuestas, inmediatas. A pesar de que me caducaba la garantía, me dejaron el tíquet abierto hasta que lo pudiera enviar.

En menos de 1 semana tenía el ordenador de vuelta, en perfecto estado, reparado (el teclado), con una limpieza de ventiladores (no la pedí explícitamente) y una actualización de BIOS (lo pedí y me lo hicieron gratuitamente).

Muy muy muy contento con todo el equipo de Slimbook.

Es posible que la siguiente generación de ProX vuelva a pedirla (¿2024? ¿2025?...veremos...).

After ordering and now receiving my new ProX 15 which is a really well executed piece of equipment I have now also ordered a second machine. This one is a desktop.
You simply cannot fault their service from all their various departments. Ranging from technical through to shipping.

Very good experience. Whenever I have had a problem they have treated me very well. Very impressed with Javier's speed in responding to messages and the technical support

J'ai commandé un PC portable SLIMBOOK Executive 14 le 11/10/2022 pour développer. Au début, j'avais passé la commande au nom de ma société, la SAS Build Digital Solutions qui est basée en France, et j'avais payé la TVA Espagnole (IVA). J'ai contacté le support et ils ont été très réactifs pour me rembourser la TVA et me faire une facture professionnelle HT. Aujourd'hui, le 04/11/2022, j'ai reçu mon PC portable. Il m'a été livré par GLS, dans un carton sur lequel était marqué fragile. Le carton était en bon état, le transporteur en a pris soin. Il a mis 2 ou 3 jours pour venir d'Espagne et arriver jusqu'à Lyon. Le plus long aura été l'étape de réception des pièces, après SLIMBOOK assemble, teste et envoie très rapidement. Ils sont très rapides.
Mon PC portable est sous manjaro avec un SSD Crucial NVME d'1To et 32 Go de RAM. SLIMBOOK a tout configuré, il fonctionne parfaitement. La finition est excellente et il est très léger.

Although I really appreciated Javier's prompt responses to emails, the overall experience wasn't great. Having bought the top of the range model and paid a small fortune, everything should have been top quality. But the keyboard kept missing strokes and the characters were hard to see in the dark with the backlight not shining through enough. The software was also half-baked. Despite using Slimbook OS, the RGB keyboard often didn't light up after sleep, the Slimbook-own app didn't turn on the lightbar, and customising the colours to my own needs was only possible with a lot of detective work and hours of manual adjustment. It was also a very noisy machine. I later sold it on but of course made a huge loss on it.

Had some original issues with the unit once it arrived and had to ship it back. Once it was returned to me, I have had no issues at all. I use it as my daily work desktop, would absolutely recommend and the help from their support was top notch!

Tot han estat facilitats en el servei postvenda. Un 10. El model essential que he comprat és barat i relativament senzill però teclat agradable, lleuger i la pantalla es veu prou bé.

I acquired an ESSENTIAL Slimbook 15 inch AMD and one day, like out of the blue, the laptop went and died. So I had to send it back for repair -that after a prompt reaction by the technicians' team giving me directions and possible solutions, to no avail though. I sent it over to them but upon close inspection they found out the fault was one corner was damaged because it took a hit, something I can't recall, it must have fallen or something. Well, being this the case the guarantee shouldn't cover the cost of the repair, but all the same they changed the whole MOTHERBOARD for free!! I was left speechless. When I got the laptop back it worked wonderfully.
So yeah, I'm very impressed with their service and support, as well as being Slimbook a company which also supplies a good amount of software so you can fully customize and enhance your experience.

He tenido el placer de adquirir un portátil, concretamente un Slimbook PRO 15X AMD en el año 2020.

El portátil jamás me ha dado ningún problema, pese a las altas exigencias sometidas, ya lo que lo utilizo para trabajar en entornos de virtualización.

En vistas del buen uso que me esta dando, hace un año recomendé estos portátiles a mi empresa, y ya son 5 los que hemos adquiridos, y todos con la misma satisfacción.

En resumen: Un servicio técnico comprometido, y unos portátiles de lo mejor.

Yo tengo clara cual será mi próxima adquisición.

I brought Mini one with good specifications from Slimbook. The specs are good. I received shipment a bit delayed. Wanted to make it my primary computer for home use. But whenever i use it with 3 or 4 browser windows opened, it creates so much noise , it is literally unusable. So I shut it down everytime i hear the noise , just in a few minutes. Initially had Ubuntu 20.04 and then upgraded recently to 22.04. As I had an alternate office laptop for most of computing usage, I did not bother to contact the Slimbook support. I tried different solutions given in Ubuntu forums but this noise never came down. So literally I use this mini pc, just 5 or 10 mins a day and then have to shut it down. I contacted slimbook support, they tried to be helpful , even after warranty was over, they gave a cooling system replacement, that too did not help. But I think what they did to help me was not sufficient to solve the problem. I was ready to share screen to show them, but that remote meeting is not something they are allowed to do. So it is not disappointing. This behavior is something they should have caught during the hardware testing or rather I am the one to get this faulty piece. It is literally 650 euros down the drain, not less money.
I am never going to start this mini pc again.

Waste of time and money and I have to use the windows laptop for my daily usage.

I would like to give a 0 , but there is no option for that. They ask me to buy their new set of mini pc with AMD chip, I declined. Again I am not ready to loose another 650 euros. I would not recommend anyone to go for their brand of laptop/ mini PC's.

Muy contento con mi Slimbook. Después de 3 años, se me rompió la pantalla (se me cayó el portátil, 😥). El servicio técnico de 10. Me indicaron todos los pasos, fueron rápidos y el ordenador está como nuevo.

Totalmente recomendable

Desde los primeros emails para resolver dudas pude comprobar la diferencia (no hubo un trato personal por la distancia) ell@s no me intentaron vender nada, simplemente se limitaron a resolver mis dudas respetando mis preferencias, en mi caso, el Executive de 14".

Fui bastante tiquismiquis con el particionado y tampoco hubo ninguna objeción por parte de ellos, dado que, no era la primera vez que un cliente les pedía un particionado personalizado, y dudo que sea la última.

Se fueron cumpliendo los plazos del pedido tal y como ell@s me iban diciendo a través de email; y el envío fue mucho más rápido de lo que me esperaba.

Pedí un accesorio para tener puerto ethernet a mi disposición y como el que pedí estaba agotado me entregaron con mi pedido uno de mayor coste sin repercusión en el precio para mi; lo cual es un detallazo que, yo al menos, nunca he visto.

El contenido del paquete me llegó en perfecto estado, con todo lo que contenía mi pedido sin ningún tipo de desperfecto ni problema.

Hasta el momento la satisfacción con Slimbook es máxima, habrá que ver si algún día (espero que no, por TUX) si tengo que usar la garantía como será la experiencia, pero de eso no puedo hablar dado que no se ha dado el caso.

100% recomendable y más teniendo en cuenta que es un producto español.

Despues de la compra de varios portatiles, y varios años confiando en Slimbook, por primera vez he necesitado utilizar el servicio técnico para cambiar el teclado de un titan en garantía.

Trato excelente, todo solventado y en tiempo récord. Un empresa que apuesta por el software libre con una madurez y calidad que rivaliza las grandes marcas de portátiles.

Portátiles de muy buena calidad, ensamblados ad-hoc con los componentes que elige el cliente, y con Linux instalado por defecto. ¿Qué más se puede pedir? Pues un servicio técnico excelente que tiene más paciencia que un santo. De diez!

Hace dos años que tengo mi portátil slimbook. He tenido un pequeño problema y todo se ha solucionado en tiempo récord y dentro de la garantía. Estoy muy contenta con el trato y el servicio desde el primer día hasta hoy.
