Just installed CallGenie for my 101 year old housebound Mum. Works exactly as described. I can call Mum at any time via Microsoft Teams, it powers up the TV and Mum can see me (and other family members) very clearly and loudly. When the call is finished the TV turns off (or back to the channel she was watching). We had to give up phone calls to her landline as she just can't hear well enough. This has given us a new lease on life re: communicating easily and livening up her day. Highly recommend.

Poor service

This product has made my life so much easier and more importantly has made my Dad's life fuller. I can't praise the system enough. My Dad has Alzheimer's and is unable to work any technology. CallGenie means he doesn't need to do anything with the added benefit that his telly screen returns to the programme he was watching or off if that was the set up.The quality is so good it's like I'm sitting with Dad in his lounge. If you have an elderly relative with dementia and you want more than just a phone conversation then i recommend CallGenie. Set up was easy and the support I got/get was fast and effective.

I just worked with Rob Roy at Call Genie USA and the transition from Skype to Jami went very smoothly. Rob was very patient in helping set up Jami on my end and in my Mom's call genie pc in Taiwan. My Mom is 94 yo and I call her daily using the Call Genie solution. Can't recommend this any more highly. Their customer service is top notch. A grateful son, George

The installation process was not seamless. At the end of a video call the TV never returned to displaying TV programmes leaving me to faff around with the TV remote control to get back to watching TV. The supplier never fixed this issue. They don't reply to customer service requests either.
