I was contacted several times by the team to explain that my life insurance needs reviewing - I agreed and explained that due to my busy working hours, i would have to be contacted at certain times. After a week of being bombarded with phone calls sometimes 7-8 times a day, I picked up to make the operative aware that I was in the middle of doing the school run and couldn't speak. Ian at Smartmoneyteam then resorted to fear mongering tactics, asking if I was aware that my current policy was only in force for X amount of years and telling me I'd need to get it reviewed ASAP. I told him Id review this in my own time, not when I was pressured into doing so. Ended up having a full review with a different firm with a much more positive experience and replaced my old policy with one much more suited to my requirements.
