SMASH Maths Avaliações 

On 11th July 2024, I had the pleasure of speaking to Sarah-Anne Fernandes (Owner) at a Parent Workshop she organised. I learnt so much about her background and her achievements, as well as everything there is to know about SMASH Maths, that I knew straight away this is an extremely credible site for your child to learn Maths. My Son is in Primary School and completes the Homework set by SMASH Maths every Week and the content is very interactive to enable my Son to understand all concepts well. Thank you Sarah-Anne for creating this wonderful product!

SMASH Maths is a fantastic resource to help progress your child's maths with clear, fun, bitesize learning. Explanations are extremely helpful. I've used it for both of my children as part of their preparation for exams for secondary school and it has been invaluable.

Smash maths is an excellent platform for your child to learn math! My son enjoys the questions and has fun learning in our home environment. I really cannot recommend it enough. It’s simple and easy to navigate so you can get straight on with the learning !! If you get a question wrong or struggle with the answer, the short video clips show you how. Great for any year group. We love smash maths!!

My daughter started using SMASH Maths in YR6 to improve her SATs results. She did very well in her SATS but we continued using it in YR7 to help her with a transition to a secondary school. The practices were extremely useful as they had the right balance between challenging children and helping them find solutions. It helped my daughter learn how to solve maths problems independently but it has also helped her develop interest and enthusiasm for maths. Highly recommended!

We heard about Smash Maths through my daughters primary school. She was struggling a bit with Maths in the lead up to her SATS tests in May.

Sally-Anne from Smash Maths did an online session (explaining how it worked) with a number of parents from school in early March, and we decided to take out a subscription soon after.

The lessons match the curriculum well and are about the right length. Explanations are given for the wrong answer.

Well worth it!

Super user friendly platform and beautifully presented.
The videos available to explain every question are fantastic, it's like having a tutor in the room with you.
10 questions at a time is really manageable and not daunting for a child so there aren't arguments about doing it either!
Like the little tweaks in feedback remarks especially for Wimbledon etc, a nice touch

Excellent. We really rate SMASH Maths highly. Both our boys enjoy the weekly questions which I think are pitched at just the right level to challenge and develop their understanding. Most recently we signed up for the 7+ preparation questions - they gently brought our eldest up to the required standard (especially with helpful explanation videos) and happily he was offered a place at Dulwich College. We start with smash maths straight after covid lockdown. My two boys were really struggling at maths so they really needed something to help them to improve and get back on track .
Smash maths is perfect! They do the tests quickly it covers all the maths subjects for their year and the best part if they don't know how to do a exercise there is always a video explaining how is done . My oldest is already at secondary school and is with very good grades at Maths and my youngest now in year 5 is one of the best students at Maths .

Really straight forward to for daughter to understand and use on her own to practice her maths. Very clear video explanation of answers when incorrect, helping with learning. Reinforces and supports the curriculum.

This has got to be the best money I have ever spent. My daughter is diagnosed with ADHD, which has impacted her ability to learn considerably. On returning to school in year 3 following Covid, she was approximately 18 months behind her peers. Smash maths has had a considerable impact on her learning. She has gone from having relatively no confidence and needing help with every question to enthusiastically tackling them on her own. The tutoring videos are great and she loves the little gifs when she gets the questions right. At her latest pupil review meeting she is now at the expected standard for her age. I can’t recommend Smash maths enough, it has definitely worked for us.

SMASH Maths was an invaluable tool to help our kids make the transition from a local Malaysian school to an international one, especially during the pandemic. Following that, they needed to skip a grade and once again, SMASH Maths offered just the right support we needed.

As a parent and tutor, it also works really well as a diagnostic to pinpoint areas of need. And the SMASH Maths team are always really responsive to put kids on the level that's right for them, adjusting as needed.

We are really happy with what they have set. It is very easy to use and the questions are at the right level for our son. The types of question are not"dry" like I was used to at school. Instead they are fun and engaging.

Fantastic Maths programme. My child has really enjoyed the weekly exercises. It has improved his confidence in Maths I would highly recommend it. The spiral system they use with the supporting videos and clear explanations make the programme easy to use and follow. We recently had a zoom catchup call with the creator Sarah which was amazing. Sarah was very generous with her time going through the programme answering our questions and analysing his areas of strength and weaknesses.

Smash maths has been a great way to support my child’s learning in school. I noticed when home learning that he seemed to approach topics I knew he had been taught months ago as if they were new. This approach gets him thinking about different topics each week and keeps the learning in his mind.

My year 4 son loves SMASH Maths and is excited to see the new assessments each week. The assessments include questions from all areas of the curriculum and provide a good level of stretch with feedback and encouragement after each question and detailed explanations when he gets an answer wrong. My daughter is looking forward to joining in the fun once she's old enough!

This is the perfect way to support your child outside of the classroom. The exercises are fun (lots of visual and sound effects) and well thought through. My son's arithmetic has made great progress and with this extra consolidation of the school syllabus he is now more confident in class. Thank you Smash Maths team!

Very clear videos given to help explain how to solve problems. Like how there is lots different types of problem solving problems.Excellent!! Michael Garry
