We were on the hunt for new corner sofa. Came across Sofa Bay online did a little research and they seemed good based on reviews. Gave them a go purchased at a great price, delivery was included. Only took about 2 weeks to arrive they kept me updated with progress throughout that time and had a WhatsApp chat with customer services. Delivery people friendly and turned up when they said. Sofa is as the pics looks great. Little firmer than about old one but that should be a good thing. We love it. Thanks

Ordered a sofa which was very quick and easy. Told of delivery. Eve of delivery had text to say delivery cancelled. Tried calling several times next day. Eventually got through told cannot give delivery date until day before !! Delivery Eventually turned up over a week later , button missing & sofa very hard to sit on , contacted customer service told will send button out. It’s been 10wks now & several texts as no phone No to call and still waiting. Plus the sofa is still hard to sit on.
I don’t normally complain but Customers service is shocking.

DO NOT BUY FROM This COMPANY. they falsely advertise sofas, don't expect to get what you see on the pictures. I've been back and forth with their "AI" customer service over Whatsapp. paid £609.99 for a sofa that looks nothing like the picture the measurements also stated that the sofa was 240cm x 240cm. when it arrived it was drag up the stairs by the delivery guy who decided to bring his son with him who looked about 14-15 years old. charged me £20 for bringing it up the stairs which I handed over to his son. I checked over the sofa and he had cracked one of the feet he then also tried to say that he was going to charge me £20 and the item in which my sofa came in 3 parts was never stated. because his son accepted the cash he wasn't then able to charge me more. I've been back and forth with them over whatsapp and had agreed by the end of it they would bring me the correct sofa and correct size also covering the costs. I decided to check their website today and noticed that they had changed the measurement for my sofa to 210 meaning this would be the biggest size. there was not such size as a corn symmetrical at 240cm x 240cm. so how would they be replacing my sofa with the correct sofa if there's no such sofa in that size?!. luckily I've taken screenshots of all the conversations and sizing of the sofa before they changed it. I will be taking them to trading standards!! as this is so not fair on customers thinking they are getting what they're seeing when there's no such thing as that.

Replacement delivery was for today. So the delivery company has just been,the sofa you they had sent to swap is the exact same one not a different size at all. Not only have they messed me about and the delivery driver for driving over 3 Hours. I still have not got the sofa I've paid for..

Their response- I am really sorry about this. I will look into it further for you and get in touch with both the manufacturer and the logistics team.

I've told them time and time again that I cannot return the sofa and be left with nothing I have a 2.5 year old. They expected me to pull money out of thin air to buy a replacement sofa so they can have this back. You can't buy a sofa next day delivery in which I've also stated to them.

Please save your money and don't buy from this company

Dragged myself round a few furniture stores before looking online. Everything either looked cheap, cost a fortune, or had a ridiculous lead time. Found Sofabay and within ten minutes I'd made my decision. Sofa arrived, no fuss, looks better than half the stuff I saw in store and cost me less. Wished I'd skipped the shops entirely and just come here first.

Amazing service, great communication and super fast delivery!! The sofa is firm and comfortable at the same time, fitted it together within minutes. I was slightly concerned as I’d not been able to look at it in the flesh but it’s exceeded my expectation!! the quality is superb, we had constant communication with the company and then the delivery team, when they arrived it was apparent my door was to small to get the sofa through but the carried it round the back with no fuss!! Highly recommend

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, absolute joke, 1 to 3 weeks delivery, NO, on delivery men (apparently from a logistics company, who take no responsibility if any damage is caused to your property) they didn't have a clue how to get a sofa through a door, sofa ended up with a broken foot and my front door was damaged. Informed sofabay that same day, 3 weeks later still no new foot and them saying the delivery men were denying any damage. Sofabay have also said they take no responsibility for anything that occurs on delivery. It's been an absolute nightmare, in the end I got offered £20 for damage to my door 🤣🤣🤣 will never purchase or recommend SOFABAY

Kept InTouch from ordering to delivery.the delivery staff got InTouch a fews day before to arrange a day and was trackable on the day. They where professional and polite. The sofa, swivel chair & footstool feel and look amazing at a very reasonable price 100% would recommend

Saw a beautiful u shaped sofa from sofabay, it was more expensive than some companies and less expensive than others so I thought I had found a great deal. When the sofa was delivered by lovely guys who were really helpful , I realised some of the sofa must have been left out in the rain as it was quite wet unfortunately the removal guys were onto their next job. After sitting on it I realised how hard and uncomfortable the seats were, being disabled i bought for comfort. I called sophie who had a manager call me back to arrange the return of said sofa as it made my back ache something rotten. The pick up was arranged and the sofa returned with a full refund. I just wish I had tried it first and didn't just buy because of how it looked.

Not sure where my initial review has gone from early December, but it wasn't 5*. However the issued I had regarding a small tear, was resolved, a little longer than anticipated, but it was over the Christmas period, so kind of understandable. I was pleased with the corner sofa , and then ordered the matching foot stool which was also slightly damaged, this has also been resolved. All in all good for the money, but took a while. Good customer service & communication through WhatsApp

Positives: the customer service is amazing! Quick responses and kept updated during the whole process. Delivered when they said it would be. The sofa also looks great! Fabric appears hard wearing. Negatives: it’s VERY hard to sit on! Back cushions are also overfilled and don’t sit nicely. I am hoping with time they will soften and flatten.

The design is lovely and the material feels soft but durable. It’s really lifted the room very happy with it.

Ordering was straightforward, communication was good, and delivery came right when they said it would.

Sofa turned up on time and looks even better in person. Really comfy and feels great quality for the price.

When we had a delivery question, Ricky the manager called personally to make sure it was sorted. Really went above and beyond to help us out and made the whole process easy. Top bloke and a credit to the team.

We had a small mix-up with our order and Sophie handled it straight away. She was friendly, patient and kept us updated the whole time. Everything was sorted within a day honestly one of the best customer service experiences we’ve had

We’ve got kids and a dog, so we needed something sturdy and easy to clean. This sofa’s ideal. Still looks new after a few weeks of chaos.

Got the sofa and it's very comfortably and I must say it's very comfortably for my back as I do suffer with back issues and the service was 💯 from sofa buy I would highly recommend them again very happy customer

The WhatsApp chat made everything easy. I asked a few questions and got replies straight away. Delivery team were great too polite and on time.

Giving 4 stars only because of lack of communication. The actual sofa itself is beautiful and great quality.
I didn't hear about when the sofa was coming then after 3 weeks they were ready to deliver to me the next day. Needless to say I wasn't prepared as I hadn't sold the old one yet. However we got it all sorted once I'd rearranged a new delivery date.
