Negligent, reckless and passive aggressive
I ordered the sofa week 1 of April with free delivery & assembly , by week 3 , I got a message - wrong color ordered (mistake 1); offered me an alternative already in place but not in the same color , so I settled to take the alternative since it’s realistically 2-4weeks wait. The order comes on 20 April with a text saying I will be charged delivery / assembly , so I challenge & remind them of my initial order included free delivery / assembly before they say it’s a mistake (we are now on mistake number 2) , it’s assembled by the delivery driver whilst am working upstairs , I come down had an eye service inspection , driver is showing me how to operate a sofa bed & I find it perhaps weird / just assume driver is being friendly but is also as if am being taught how to use a sofa bed that I had already looked up on their website ; anyways the driver is gone, after work am admiring the sofa, showing a friend & we notice one of the middle seats isn’t levelled & there are other issues with the measurement. The driver was showing me how to operate the sofa I believe was a distraction so I wouldn’t notice it wasn’t levelled. At this point am disappointed , taking away the package that the driver has binned in the corner , I notice an odd looking plastic (it’s one of the legs of the sofa!) so I figured ,put the sofa up , realise a whole leg is missing and worse is the screws /hole it’s suppose to go into has been damaged. This means best, I have to get a drill / fix the damage etc (which I don’t do by the way ) so I contact them , send pictures of the issue , ask for an exchange or full refund , not only because it’s damaged , it’s the lack of transparency/ deceit that displays that the driver who assembles these for a very long time wouldn’t have not realised an entire leg is missing when putting the sofa (mistake 3). I raise the concern, I get a very dismissive response saying the driver is the CEO of the company , wouldn’t ever make that error , couldn’t possibly have not seen the missing leg or ignored it becos he has been assembling /delivering sofas for years … my point back is explain the damaged screw holes if he would never not see a missing leg then binn the missing leg with the waste packaging , and why would I in less than 24hrs report this ? In another 6hrs I discover black ink stain marks (clear from pens) on the cushions of the sofa , am putting together that they have given me an ex display or damaged or factory fault ,not bothered to be transparent. For me settling to take an alternative , then damaging it , isn’t tolerable for me because it’s 3 mistakes & 2 unhelpful issues (1 -with fact that my sofa is at best a top grade second hand or factory fault , & 2, implying the CEO couldn’t have not seen a whole leg missing). I made it clear if they didn’t refund or exchange I will be putting this review up

Overall, this corner sofa is fantastic. It's everything that I was looking for. It combines style, comfort, and practicality. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their living room.

Ordered a sofabed from Sofanatic and I have to say I am really impressed with the level of service. Before ordering I had lots of questions and asked for additional nformation and pictures. All communication was prompt and very helpful.
I requested a bespoke material for the sofabed that they do not normally have in stock and it had to be custom made. I was informed that this would normally take around 4 weeks to deliver.
I was kept up to date the entire way and the sofabed was delivered within time which I was very pleased about.
Darius delivered the sofabed and I asked him if he could assemble which he agreed to do. There is an extra fee for this but I was happy to pay for it to have the peace of mind that it was done correctly without causing any damage.
All in all I'm very happy with the service provided and I have to say I love the sofabed that has given a new lease of life to the room.
Almost taken to court
TLDR: We were close to taking this company to small claims court. I would stay well away. Below is a breakdown of our experience
Bought the Osaka sofa Oct 2024, delivered Nov 2024. By Sept 10th 2025 one of the seat modules broke, towards the back under the main cushions. Just sat down on it one day and the wood snapped (for reference I weigh approx 60kg, so you can see how flimsy the structure was, or that it clearly had a manufacturing defect)
The company agreed to replace the faulty section. It took 2.5months to secure a delivery date and when it finally arrived late Nov 2025 they delivered the wrong size part. The driver had arrived, accused us of purposely breaking the sofa (?!?!) and refused to bring the part inside. So my partner bought it in, unpacked it, only to realise it was the wrong part and the driver had already left. The company also refused to pick up the phone that day to resolve the mistake.
After that it became extremely difficult to get any clear updates. Phone calls and voicemails were ignored, promised update dates came and went, and communication was limited to occasional WhatsApp messages. Whilst they never completely ignored us, we could never get clarity on when the situation would be resolved. It's also important to know that they don't have a proper delivery system. It seems to be one person and they try to line up deliveries so they can do multiple in one area on any given day. So when they quote a delivery bracket on the site, you cannot rely on that because they will only adhere to it if other customers locally also have deliveries waiting. The delivery day will often come at short notice, for example we were told on Friday night at 8.10pm that it would be delivered that Sunday. When we said we weren't in that Sunday, it's then suggested you've missed your opportunity and will have to wait until they can find a slot in the schedule again for you which can add on weeks to your delivery time.
It ultimately took several months of chasing and formal escalation after advice from Citizens Advice, who made it clear that this business had broken multiple laws under the Consumer Rights Act, and had told us that our case is a clear "open and close" to be successful should we take this to small claims court. This ultimately seemed to spur on a resolution and the correct replacement was finally delivered today - 6 months on from when the issue was first raised.
Even then, the driver refused to take away the damaged module and the interaction became confrontational before he drove off. This also breaks Consumer Law that dictates that "The trader must bear any necessary costs incurred in repairing or replacing the goods, including the cost of labour, materials, and postage, including removal and collection of faulty goods"
The sofa looked fine when first delivered - it's not amazing but does the job for ~£800 but if I had a crystal ball to know the level of stress and angst dealing with this company would cause, I would pay the extra for a more reputable retailer that has a proper supply chain system, higher quality products and an effective customer service team. We went with them because we wanted to go with a family-owned, small business, but that still has to come with basic adherance to trading standards. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I recently ordered the Osaka U sofa bed from Sofanatic, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The sofa was delivered within just 5 days by Callum, who also carried it inside and assembled everything professionally. The customer service was very friendly, respectful, and helpful throughout the whole process. The price was also very reasonable for such good quality. Sofanatic is a small family-run business, and you can truly feel the personal care they put into their service. Highly recommend!😊

Amazing quality and service for my sofa!
I ordered the “ Small U-Shaped Sofa – ‘Ashton’ – Under 3m Long” from Sofanaric which arrived today.
The quality and colour is absolutely perfect and exactly what I was expecting. The delivery was great and service was perfect, with easy communication and information in the delivery of the sofa.
I am very impressed with the quality and care this company has taken for my order.
I was able to customise the sofa to a large variety of colours and fabrics, which is a brilliant option and perfect for my household with dogs (I was able to choose a waterproof fabric!).
