Great experience with Modern Renewable solutions through emails and finalising over the phone.
I had a few quotes from other local and long-distance companies; we decided on them for being local and answering all questions.
we had 17 panels 475, 9 kw inverter with 2 x 10 kw battery storage.
The Scaffolders also worked quickly
we can’t fault the standard of work, they left the site tidy, friendly and trusting as I wasn't always around.

The OVO SW team (Modern Renewable Solutions) were great to deal with from the first point of contact. Having answered my detailed questions, they gave me a couple of alternative proposals. Of the 4 companies I approached for quotes, I felt the OVO system offered the best value for money. I really appreciated dealing with a local company with their own installers rather than sub-contractors. The entire process was seamless and went very smoothly. I can't fault the team - everyone from the scaffolders, roofers and electricians where friendly, hardworking and brilliant to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

OVO came to us in south west Cornwall. We had 24 panels fitted, an 18kWh battery, 12kW inverter and a gateway to run off grid if needed. The whole process took a week from building scaffolding to taking it away. The fit itself took about 2 1/2 days. The job was competitively priced, incredibly neat and professional. The installers are knowledgeable and experienced with the product that they fitted. Storm Goretti hit us and the power was off for 5 days. The system allowed us to run the heating, keep the fridge and freezer running and keep our sanity. This is an excellent professional team

Great communication at all times and I felt I could phone up at any point with a question. Installation was very quick and efficient. Delighted all round.

The company kept me informed throughout the installation process. The installation team were very professional and knowledgeable although they didn’t drink much coffee. They were very friendly and respected my property.

I contacted three Solar firms in total and went with this Company, nothing to complain of, Paul is a great asset, he knows everything there is to know about Solar! Also a brilliant installation team too, thanks also to Sophie and Matt too for bringing it all together!

I shopped around and OVO gave me the best system at the best price, the team answered my million questions, I was never put through to a call centre all handled locally, post install they are still on hand which is great.

No pressure selling, if fact it was me probably pressuring upgrade deals.

The system was fully installed in two days, it's a neat job and everyone from the scaffolders, roofers and electricians where friendly and approachable, the team worked like a well oiled machine and there was a clear project manager taking charge of everything.

I also liked that the team considered the future not selling me a system which is already running a max capacity and the upgraded me to the latest generation. I find myself always looking at the Fox Cloud 2.0 app to see what the system is doing. A few friends have already asked me about the system and are impressed.

Additionally I get the install SEG rate from OVO who are very good and you can collect free panels through them, there is no tie in and I'm free to move to another provider.

I have recently had solar panels fitted(12.11.25)by solar&heating southwest and i cannot praise this company enough but im going to, from start to finish from Holly in the office to the team who fitted the equipment they worked so hard in terrible weather never complained just got on with it also very polite and cheerful the company are very lucky to have such great workers. I thought the price was very reasonable compared to other companies too so once again a massive thank you solar&heating-southwest.10(stars)

About a year ago, I began researching solar panels and battery systems. I received several quotes and had visits from different installation teams. This year, I decided to move forward with OVO, as they were running a special offer. OVO connected me with Mat and his team from OVO Solar & Heating SW.
From our initial online chat to Mat’s visit to my home, the process was smooth and informative. Mat walked me through the quote, explained the details of the solar installation process, and described how the system would work once connected. He also clarified the pricing structure and answered all my questions.
The installation took just two days, and the team of electricians and panel installers were very professional. The work was completed with minimal mess, which was impressive considering the drilling and roof work involved. Upon completion, the electricians took the time to explain the system’s intricacies again and showed me how to use the app to monitor results and make adjustments. I also had a new car charger installed that is compatible with OVO, which has been a game changer and has saved me a considerable amount.
The documentation for the installation was sent through quickly, and I was able to set up my account with OVO to sell electricity back to the grid with ease.
Overall, I had a very pleasant and professional experience and would highly recommend OVO Solar & Heating SW.

Ovo Solar and heating was a very good experience from start to finish. we had 14 panels on roof an inverter and batteries plus full install and home back up,,
We live in Cornwall in a very quiet area down very narrow windy road so a difficult place to get to, Scaffolding went up first day and then a 2 day install and scaffold came down a couple of days after that so very quick indeed.
From start we chose OVO that did an online survey and quote and once we were happy with things they came out and had a look and gave us a bit more advice on panels and batteries that prompted us to have a little change but we never at all had any sales people trying to up sell or push us to buy as it was all very friendly and easy,
all the staff that did the install were amazing and very polite and treated our property with respect, They cleaned up as they went along and and checked along the way if we were happy.
They worked in the poring rain and sorted out any niggles as they went.
The price we paid was whet they quoted and didnt change and we didnt get asked to pay the outstanding balance until all was completed and we received the paperwork so again this was a very easy transaction.
I would happily recommend OVO to family and friends as our experience from them was 5 Stars so great job
