Only received two reference installers, one of which indicated they had already quoted for us on a previous occasion, this was over 18 months ago so can't see how this would be relevant. They eventually got back to me and quoted anyway. The second installer got back to me promptly and produced a quote for me. Still in a dilemma though as the preferred installer was quoting Sigenergy hardware and, given the issues and recalls not sure how comfortable I'd be with this.

I have 2 companies contact me, I requested solar quotes, that I wanted person, to come to site, and I can run through some different options, that I wanted to find out more.. I had one company, ring straight away, told they don't need to come to site. Trying to convey, everything, over a phone was hard. That company, I didn't hear back from them, until solar quotes told them to call me back. Had another person, had to tell them everything again over a phone. Still no quotes in writing? 3 weeks.. the other company, come to site, was very good in communicating with myself, and helping me with my different solutions, they could offer. But after visit, no quotes?? Also that contractors, phone no. Comes up as a spam call??

I needed referrals to honest dealers.
There are cheep and nasty solar companies dealing
with cheep products. They all look the same and work well in the beginning. Working with you gives me a lot more confidence.

Solar quotes provided me with 3 quotations and sufficient knowledge to talk constructively with battery installers. We have made an educated choice and have paid a deposit for our battery.

The response to my initial request was fast and within 1 hour I received my first contact. The companies recommended were insightful and answered my questions.

I was seeking quotations for a heat pump water heater and the process worked perfectly. I received two quotations and discussed the project with each of the bidders. They were friendly and knowledgeable. I have selected one bidder and am waiting for an installation date. No problems so far.

I had used MJJ solar for my solar panels, recommended by Finn Peacock in 2019, so it seemed appropriate to ask them to quote for a battery.
They were quick and responsive, but I did think I should get 2 more quotes. This proved a little slower, and even though I had contacted both companies, I really knew I would go with MJJ Solar. They offered a good price with the battery being a new smaller unit than others discussed. So today we signed again.

Previously used the website for solar installation guides and quoting with excellent results, this time for a solar battery. The calculator was great to use and as always the installers were prompt and courteous with their replies. Finn does a magnificent job and deserves everyone's support.
