I booked a session with Sukh to have my dating profile reviewed. It was such an eye opener, she went through my profile and gave me feedback on it. She then gave me advice on how to best present myself in my photos, how to write a bio and how to engage potential matches. I have implemented it and my dating app experience is so much better. She also spoke about dating in general and gave some great tips that I took away. I recommend the audit if you are looking for a serious relationship, as it will make the dating app experience so much better, I use to think I had a good profile but so glad I got it reviewed.

Well organised and great concept - I would go again

Went to my first speed dating event via Something Single. The whole experience was well thought out, well organised and well executed - from the communication email sent out the day before explaining how the event will be structured, to separate spacious tables in an easily accessible venue, to the brilliant jenga with question prompts to the form with a helpful notes section to remind yourself of the people you have spoken to. I really enjoyed the speed dating element as opposed to the usual “mingling” style events as it allows your time to talk to everyone - especially if you’re not brave enough to approach people directly like myself. I’d like to attend more of this style dating event so please keep doing them Sukh!

Sukh was brilliant, I've been apps for a few years and really didn't realise why I wasn't getting anywhere but she explained everything clearly as in what works and what doesn't work. I have definitely taken Sukh's advice and professional criticism on board. Looking forward to going to a dating event and learning more for the future.

I did not know what to expect at the Jenga event. But I was put at ease as soon as Sukh’s friendly smile greeted me at the door. It was very well organized and the location was fantastic. I had a fun time. It’s a great thing to do in the city if you want to meet people. I got to say everyone was chill. I met some nice quality people and made friends.

I was fortunate enough to have an hour of Sukh’s time and it was honestly the most gratifying and meaningful hour of my week. As someone who has been dating for the best part of a decade and thinking I knew everything there was about the scene (despite being single), Sukh offered a fresh perspective which I wouldn’t have gained or listened to from friends or family. I really appreciated that she wasn’t pushy at all, didn’t come across as a know it all, or forceful, but felt like an older sister guiding me to reach conclusions for myself and feeling like I still had a sense of control. I didn’t feel judged and was not made to feel like I was clueless. She changed my mindset from one conversation and I am now excited to embark with the wisdom she has given. Looking forward to also going to one of her events real soon! Xx

I really enjoyed my time at their event last week. The venue was private, cosy and well chosen. The night flowed effortlessly and was well organised. It felt like an evening out, meeting new people. The event was well organised and the staff were attentive and make you feel at ease (especially if you arrive alone as I did and which many people do!) The venue was just right in terms of sitting and standing to allow people to mingle in comfort. This particular event was sold out and the gender ratio was 50:50 which is important.

I'd certainly recommend if you want to give the swiping a miss and connect with people in real life

I have been to a few of these events now and I have to say of all the similar companies out there, Sukh’s events are always the most seamless and well organised. There’s always a good mix of people and I like that that age range of events is wider - it some how feels buzzier and using wrist bands to show age range is really useful for those who want to stick to to a certain age group!

I love how Sukh and her team are always on hand to give coaching advice on the spot, if you’re struggling to make a move the gals are on hand to help!

The padlock concept is something that is done regularly but Sukh makes it fun by adding prizes.

I cannot recommend these events enough - at the very minimum you will come away having a great night and making a lot of new friends!

I think it was a really well organised event! The idea of giving padlocks to guys & keys to the woman is a great way to make a connection between finding a potential life partner! Also, the prizes handed out were top draw! Amazing event! I would definitely recommend it to my friends who are also searching for a partner! Well done 👏

The organisers of the event did a fantastic job in organising and hosting the event with great enthusiasm. I really liked the idea of having raffle tickets obtained through padlock and key to ensure that people initiate a conversation with each other and it was a great ice breaker as well. It was a fun event and would recommend it to my single friends.
