I have tried souq many times and ordered lots of goods the past years .... souq known with high price products with low materials and fake products comparing to other global stores , souq is not that good as other stores websites sellers even souq could be the worst !!!! very high prices and the delivery fee is very high and it takes lots of days to arrive I wont deal with souq anymore .

I Ordered a melodica instrument and i got a different one with baby blue color and the order take two weeks, I called the call center but no one could solve the problem, this is very frustrating and depressing experienceو the first time to deal with souq and i wont repeat it again.
Stay away from this company please.

Anyone expecting a Middle East version of Amazon will be disappointed. Souq.com is by far the best online shopping site in the Middle East, but that really is not a title that means a lot.
If it is your first time ordering from them, be prepared: ordering from Souq.com in Saudi Arabia comes with a free Whatsapp buddy. The delivery guy will completely ignore the address you filled out for delivery, and instead will call you on the day to check exactly where you are. He will not speak English, and will not use google translate to understand your messages. He will call you in the middle of the day, expecting you to be available all the time.
If you manage to get the package from him, there's a good chance that it will be wrong. I ordered a bicycle from Souq. It arrived, but it was the wrong colour. I ordered a kettlebell from them, it was completely different from the one I ordered. Other smaller things I have ordered have also been completely wrong, but were easy to return. The two bulky items were almost impossible to send back due to the delivery system.
Another thing that annoys me about souq is their monopolisation of the SEO in this country. If I google a product, souq will come up first in the google search, saying they have the product in stock. Clicking on the link will show a page apologising for not having the product. A complete waste of time, and very misleading.

Ordered quite a few items now from Souq and at least 3 of them have been damaged or have had stuff missing! I’ve also experienced the worst customer service ever in my life! I would definitely recommend you do not purchase anything from this site as you will be very disappointed.

I bought a brand new laptop for my son's birthday, and it arrived defected, dead battery. I returned it back hoping to get a replacement, refund or at least warranty repairs. I was denied refund because the package the laptop was returned in wasn't the original, my bad. But even replacement was denied, and so it was taken for repair. A week goes by, no feedback, no status. The supplier doesn't seem to accept my communication request. Souq gives a long timeframe for repairs, 14 working days. On Sunday October 21 they sent me a email saying my laptop was repaired and I will receive it shortly. Today is Friday 26 Oct and I received nothing. I called them every single day this week and opened more than 2 tickets, but they keep closing them without solving my problem. Please avoid this nightmare.

Stay AWAY..

Delivery promised within 3 to 5 days, 3 weeks later still nothing received. When I emailed Souq.com and complained, they cancelled my order.

ordered a sports top on 6th of October, promised next day delivery still not here. I this this is a bogus company. The money has been take of my credit card.Im fuming. I made number of phone calls. I keep getting apologies, they have no idea when they can delivery it as none of the courier services are picking it up from warehouse. This is the last time Ill be ordering from these people.

Cant trust the listing its totaly wrong and you cant review negativily. Your negative review never be displayed so dont trust the reviews.

I got scammed by a seller (magicdeals) on souq. I had recently ordered a pair of wireless earphones by a company called dacom on souq.com. When the order arrived the product inside was from a different company called a-pper. To top it off one of the earphones wasn't even working. Its been over a week since this has happened.

I had raised a ticket but the customer service closed it automatically even though I responded in time and the return request was cancelled without my knowledge. So I raised another ticked and this time they promised me that the product will be collected in two days. I keep getting courier messages saying that they are on their way etc etc, but no phone calls, no one showed up and as of today, I receive a mail which requires me to respond to the customer service at around 8pm and by around 9 pm when i opened my mail they have closed the ticket saying issue resolved, when in reality the product is still with me.

This is a blatant scam and I request everyone to make loved ones and others aware that souq is cheating its customers. Do not make the same mistake I made

Registered once at their website and they keep sending spam to this email.
I tried to login and remove all communication methods, and they even show no more left, but they keep sending "promotional emails".
There is no option to delete account as well.
I regret signing up to their website.

Souq.com used to have the best quality and commitment to its costumers, but now it’s really the otherwise... I have placed an order 6 days ago with due for delivery next day. Until now I haven’t received the order, I have called the courier and souq.come several times with no result, they are only promising... I am really shocked from this very low level of quality that they have reached

I would give them less than 1 star if possible, as they are the worst service I’ve ever crossed by, they are unprofessional company which lead me to cancel all my orders and delete all my accounts off.. will never deal with them again.. and will not recommend to anyone to do so!
