Great company and amazing customer service. I ordered a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and part of the order arrived wrong. I messaged the customer service email and they replied quickly. Within two days they had sent a replacement item. The items I received have all be brilliant quality and I'm sure he will love his gift when he receives it :)

I ordered a gift for my dad but received completely the wrong order, must have been a mix up. I emailed first thing in the morning on a Saturday explaining the situation and immediately received an apology and the correct item first thing on Sunday!
Problems happen all the time but it’s how they’re dealt with that really show the quality of a company - thank you very much to Gracie, I am a very happy customer 😊

I contacted sous chef after I placed an order which hadn’t arrived after a week and it appeared that the parcel had been lost. One of the items, a set of knives which was on sale, was no longer in stock but they agreed to replace it with the individual knives, which weren’t on sale, at the original sale price and send it express delivery. Very grateful as this was a Christmas present and it would have been difficult to find a replacement at a similar price.

Soursop Tea is a herbal Tea I've always wanted to try due to its medicinal properties, although I'm fit and in good health. Next day delivery arrived on time 🙏👍

I didn't like the salsa mojo rojo and Verde I bought. I also ordered 2kg of flour and the expiry date was 4 months after the date I received them. I didn't plan on using it quickly so that is not convenient.

I've been a customer for several years and I have always enjoyed browsing the website (purely for window shopping, getting inspirations or just to drool over) or to genuinely purchase various ingredients. It's a great for finding those ingredients that are either hard/er to find or to experiment with new flavours and tastes.

The few times that I have dealt with customer services, it was very simple, straightforward and caused minimal fuss when I had a few queries.

Overall, I've been a happy long-term customer.

This Is an excellent company. They dealt with my problem immediately and kept me informed all the way, I highly recommend this family business. Service at its best. Try it you won’t be disappointed.

Following on from my review I received an email from the company explaining they had been very busy and there was a delay in dealing woth my query - which has now been sorted to my satisfaction

Have used them for some time - no issues - recent delivery short by one item - they tell me it was scanned into then delivery box - but it was not received
2 emails later - no response
Over a small item they will lose a customer and get a bad review - sad

Honestly the most responsive customer service experience I’ve ever had. Brilliant product range, speedy dispatch, resolved an issue over a damaged item super-quickly and without quibble.

I found this company online and am delighted with both the products and service. Having had trouble trying to source genuine corn tortillas, I found them on Sous chef. I also purchased other items to put a birthday box together, all of which are great quality and competitively priced. The order was placed in the afternoon via standard delivery and was delivered the following day! I received a follow up email from Edie, ‘Head of Customer Happiness’ to make sure all was as I had expected. Great company, super products and a joy to deal with. This will not be my last purchase.

I've always had my Way-On Shrimp Chilli Oil from another online shop for years, but I've been told they can no longer get it.
I found this Company 'Sous Chef', and for some reason, their Way-On Shrimp Chilli Oil is far far better than the one I've been getting for years. It has an absolutely amazing flavour and the Company's prices are extremely reasonable.
I'm feeling very guilty as I've ordered another six jars!!

Please don't ever stop selling this Oil, it's lovely. And please keep to the same supplier.

Placed order, and paid extra for fast delivery. All went smoothly, until i opened order and realise wrong item sent. Ive tried phoning, emailing, messaging on all media outlets and nobody has bothered responding. Losing the will to live. Not happy !! *Update*, problem sorted i think. Thanks to Gemma

I recently purchased some Ichendorf Milano glass wear that I've had my eye on. Souschef had a great range of this glass wear. The order came quickly and well wrapped. I'd not have known they were a small family run business if they hadn't have said as it was all very slick. The cherry on the top was that after my order I was able to choose a charity for them to donate back to. They explain it like this "For each parcel we send, we support one of The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals." I chose "Provide shelter to homeless children in Vietnam."

Absolutely fabulous service from sous chef. I’ve been a long time customer and never had any problems with any orders until recently. Almost a year ago I purchased a digital smoker from them but because I had to wait on tradesmen to build an outdoor hut for it I haven’t been able to get it out until about a week ago. Unfortunately when I went to turn it on there was clearly a problem as the unit was completely dead. Luckily it was just within the 12 month warranty so I contact Sous chef over the bank holiday weekend. I exchanged a couple of emails with them sending the videos to show how it was all connected up and how it didn’t work. Within a week a replacement smoke generator arrived at my house. I’ve now got it all set up and it’s working great. Such great customer service, they made it really easy for me to communicate my issue to them and resolved it quickly, which is a real relief as it wasn’t a cheap purchase. It sad to say that it’s rare to come across companies that deal with issues so well, so I’m glad that when I needed their customer service team they really came through.

The pork cheek was horrible, I know its fatty but the one they sent me had like 3% meat.

gotta find a better shop now.

Fantastic products and fantastic customer service team.

My order was coming to me via the dreadful Evri. It stayed at the depot for ages. I got through to sous chef who did their best to chivvy them up - no luck! Evri finally delivered to… I don’t know where… Long story short - never received it. Sous Chef replaced the item.

Every single person i corresponded with at Sous Chef whether by email or phone were so helpful and friendly. So impressed. A great company to do business with. Thank you Sous Chef.

Hobbycraft could learn something from them.

It seems their recent expansion has meant their standards have slipped.

Ordered some copper canelé moulds which had discolouration, apparently all of them in stock are the same, but no interest in contacting manufacturer to see if its a bad batch, question completely ignored. I would have waited for more to come in. Meanwhile photo on the product page shows a nice and shiny product. Also copper cleaner ordered the lid was not screwed on so dont know if this was already used or not.

Was offered refund and apologies etc, but after I use loyalty credit I have left with them, I'm shopping elsewhere, even if it costs a bit more, dont trust anymore.
