Outward to ship went OK, return was not. Followed their instructions, got message saying driver will be with us shortly. After 30 minutes texted firm to say we are still waiting. 10 minutes later they rang saying sorry our driver has broken down. Can we get a taxi which they will pay for. Having just disembarked from QM2 the queue for taxis was huge but we had no option. On arrival at their premises a guy came out to pay the taxi, no apology, no help with our cases (for two pensioners), no nothing. Also it is not 5 minutes away from the dock, more like 15 minutes at least. Not impressed.

Easy to book, good service, helpful staff

Dropped off car and transfer to port terminal was great.
Sent text message on return and given instructions about our collection.

On return, my car had a flat battery. The staff were very helpful and assisted to get the car started. Thanks very grateful for all the help with the car.

Reception area could do with improvement as looks shabby and we were unsure of where to stand while waiting for transfer at cruise terminal.

Although off site, everything worked smoothly from dropping the car off to transport to the cruise liner. Very helpful and friendly staff.
On return we had to send a text as we were leaving the ship and by the time I had collected the luggage the same driver called me with his location.
The car was ready when we got to the parking area and off we went. Simple and efficient.

Please be aware that their cancellation terms are hidden. Their frequently asked questions section on cancellation says “they have flexible booking options to allow for any necessary changes or cancellations”. I took this to mean that you can cancel free of charge. Wrong! What they fail to tell you is their huge cancellation charges, which are hidden in a small link to their terms and conditions at the bottom of their page.
Nowhere during the booking process were these cancellation charges pointed out, which is in breach of the consumer act 2015. Not that they care. Complaining gets you nowhere, and they are not part of any professional body or alternative dispute resolution body to take a complaint to.
So please consider this when making a booking!

I left a bag in the car and only realised it when we got to check-in at port. SCP pulled out all the stops and delivered it to us within 45 minutes. Thank you all for your efficiency and concern.

Check your payment statements very carefully. I was charged twice and have been trying since April to get payment back!

Disappointed with Southampton Cruise Parking Services Ltd. I trusted them with my car during an 8-day cruise, only to find a 6-7cm scratch torn into the leather of my steering wheel upon collection.

I discovered the damage immediately and had their on-site team inspect and take photos of it before driving away.

When following up, their support/management team issued a flat refusal of liability. Their flawed logic is that because they choose not to inspect or record the vehicle's interior upon arrival, they cannot be held responsible unless the customer provides absolute proof.

This is a blatant loophole to avoid payouts. The car was in their sole custody and driven by their staff. The damage was proven to be there BEFORE I left their site. By hiding behind the excuse of "we only film the outside," they are demonstrating a complete lack of integrity and care for customers' property.

Excellent service and completely hassle free. Communication and instructions were clear and concise and good to know my car was safely stored in a warehouse. Transfer onto and off ship back to the car was really quick and efficient. Thoroughly recommend.

Easy to find with clear idiot proof instructions, friendly staff, with prompt service, car was checked then taken into storage, just a short wait for taxi ride directly to ship. Felt confident leaving the car with them 🙂

We were aware from reading reviews that despite the detailed description this site could easily be missed and was not very well signed as you approached it. The site was also a bit scruffy. Once you know where it is, it is easily accessible.
The service we received however was very good, we were met in the carpark, our cases were transferred to the shuttle within minutes of our arrival and we were taken to our ship very quickly by a happy friendly driver and dropped off very close to the terminal. It was explained the this was also where we should wait to be collected on our return.
On our return they use text messages to organise the shuttle and we were kept informed of the shuttles description and movement. Again the driver (Ken, I think) was cheerful and helpful.
It came to light later, talking to some locals, not associated with the company, that the current owners of the business hadn't had it for very long and we're gradually improving some of the issues mentioned earlier in this review. If these had already been addressed I would score our experience 5 stars.
Overall based on this experience I would definitely use this business again should the need arise.

The booking process was very clear and easy to use. Confirmation received very promptly with clear instructions of what to do and directions to the site. A follow email received a couple of days prior to departure. Very quick transfer to the cruise terminal and minimal wait for pick up from the ship back the car. I will definitely use this service again, staff very helpful and friendly. Thank you it was all very easy and straightforward.

Booking process, location, price and staff are all good.
Unfortunately they are let down by poor organisation where cars are stacked up outside on the drive in the same place that people have to wait with their luggage and the pick up buses have to get to. There seems to be no queuing system so it was a scrum every time a bus turned up. Be prepared for a long wait for a bus as the trip to the ship takes at least 30 minutes each way due to heavy traffic (was a weekend for us) and there are only 3 small buses

Waited 1 hour for transfer to cruise ship - they ended up calling taxi which never came. Also late for pick up. Unprofessional and shoddy organisation I would 100% NOT recommend.

Left one bag in the car only realised on getting to the case drop off at qe2 terminal . Special thanks to Steve who quickly recovered it from our already parked car. Great service

I had an excellent experience with this company. Drop off and transfer pre cruise, and collection on the way home were extremely smooth with minimal waiting. I would definitely use them again.

Friendly staff, but quite a long transfer and lots of waiting for the bus!

We have never used airport or cruise parking in the past, as you hear such horror stories, but after reading other reviews on this company, we decided to give it a go.
We are really pleased we did! From booking online, having to speak to them to change vehicles, on the day of the start of the cruise and when we returned, everything was easy, quick and hassle free.
As soon as we arrived, we checked the car in and was straight away taken to a minibus to be taken to the port.
When we returned, we followed the simple instructions we were given and when we arrived at the meeting point, there was a minibus waiting to take us back to our car.
When we got back to where we dropped our car, it was there waiting for us. There was no damage, nothing missing, it was as clean as we left it and it hadn’t been driven for miles!!
We will definitely be using this company again, thank you everyone at SCPF.

First time using Southampton Cruise Parking and will certainly use again.
Very easy to find and very close to the cruise terminals.
Arrived and was on our way to the ship within minutes.
Upon return we came out of the terminal and got straight on the mini bus with zero waiting time. Upon return to the car park our car was outside ready to go. We were home an hour earlier than anticipated.
Highly recommended.
