Sparklight’s Chris and Casper visited today to install some new items as the ones we had were old/ defective and got on with the job, polite and friendly and wouldn’t stop for a cuppa or anything, well efficient and cleaned up( though hardly any mess anyway, so very happy bunnies are we! An easy recommendation . Though it has to be said we’ve used them since we moved to Barnet many years ago and now in potters bar, so we new the choice was good, regards David

I’ve known this family business for years now and decided to get them involved in this summerhouse project I’ve been cooking up for some time. I had Chris and Adam working at my home installing the electrical systems. Both acted like true gentlemen, taking their time to explain the work and walk me through what needed to be done.
Quick, clean, and efficient—just how business should be handled. Friendly and helpful throughout. When it came to settling the bill, I spoke with Tony over the phone, and he made the experience quick and painless.
I will be using them for my many projects yet to come. Great service!

Make their prices up as they go
Bought an item that they overcharged me as i looked online when i got home. All similar places sell for half the price they charged. How can they double the price??!! Receipt was a card receipt so the price was just made up as they go. Not honest and tried their luck. I like to support local businesses but in future i will take my business to Screwfix which is around the corner and they don’t rip you off.

All of our prices are based on the cost of the item for us to buy in, and all shelves in the shop are clearly labelled with prices. Card receipts show the total charged, including VAT, but pricing is not made up at the till.
As a local independent business, our overheads and supplier costs can differ from those of large national chains such as Screwfix, which allows them to offer lower prices. We always aim to be transparent and fair, and sometimes we can't always compete with the larger chains. We’re sorry if you felt disappointed with your experience.

My experience with Sparklight was…
My experience with Sparklight was great. I was fixing my electric car charger and needed 6mm cable to replace the burnt wire. I reached at this local neighbouring shop and asked for the same. Adam, at shop not only provided the cable joint but I also found him quite enthusiastic and helpful in peeling the cable corners and tightening the joints.
I found this nice hospitality in the neighbourhood remarkable.

Reliable Team
This was our first time working with Sparklight, and it was a very satisfactory experience. Jordan replaced our bathroom fan and also changed the spotlight at the front door. We are very happy with his work and would definitely go with them again in the future.
