Purchased a new Phillips smart tv. It’s just okay! Tried to download Disney and Now apps to no avail. Whilst it’s suppose to be a new tv it feels like an old clunky outdated operating system. I have had to purchase a fire stick to see if I can put on the apps I want. Very underwhelming and possibly heading for bin.

After my review I was contacted by SpatialOnline, saying they only sell the TV’s! and I should not have given them 2 stars and would I edit my review! Well here goes and I would like to add this is only about the performance of the 32” Phillips 6800 series TV I purchased, this is to help anyone else buying this product. The operating system is run by Saphi (never head of them before and understand why) you can only add apps that they have already preloaded, which is totally inadequate. I purchased a fire stick and can now load the well known apps like Disney and Now TV. SpatialOnline did offer to take back the item for a full refund but I had already paid for the fire stick and it’s a hassle, thankfully the fire stick resolved my problem. If you purchase this TV in my opinion you will need to fork out more money for an app upgrade. If i had known this at the point of sale I would have purchased a different TV. This is in no way a reflection on the sellers.
