I been taking the spa week cards as a payment for my services as a hairdresser and when I went to redeem them I found
Out they went out of business I lost $1000 of dollars very sad that they can do that to people

Same as all the other reviews on here for these gift cards. I called the number and couldn't reach anyone or leave a voicemail. Tried to look up the card online and it said the page could not be found. This card is a scam unfortunately. Sad that people are ripping people off especially when someone is gifting this to someone else.

Called them when they had listed a nearby spa as one of their locations and the spa said they in fact did not accept the Spaweek.com card. Call was not answered at the number listed on the gift cards. Investigating brought me to the reviews and I'm furious to know this scam has been going on for at least two years. Why are these still being sold at major retailers? I'm notifying the BBB and TX Attorney General's Office.

They very abruptly went out of business. So any gift cards you have are no longer accepted anywhere.

I went to a vendor who accepted the gift card in good faith. I actually had leftover funds on the card for future visits.
Now she tells me they wouldn't pay her and I'm out the entire amount of the gift card.
Don't buy their gift cards!

Received a $50 gift card. Looked on their site for participating spas that accept it. Every single location I called to confirm if they took it said no. Wasted quite a bit of my time calling around. What I thought was a nice gift from a friend is going in the trash. Do not buy as a gift for others. They won’t really be able to use it.

Spa week is a scam. They hijack the information from other businesses and sell services when they have no affiliation. It’s simply a scam.

Excuse my language but this sucks! People will be better off going on Groupons and ordering one from there. People buy these gift cards and go on the sight and there is absolutely nowhere worth visiting because they’re no good deals and good places are far and rare between. They definitely need to revamp this sight and partner with more companies before they run out of business

Bad for businesses who participate.

I should have listened and not bought a gift card. They had a buy a gift card for $100 and get $100. I bought the gift card and I immediately panicked as I forgot to enter the code that was mentioned. No problem. I've done this before and other companies have been gracious to help. I received an email from customer service and they said it's clearly stated and we can't help you. I literally emailed as soon as I did this. I knew I had made the mistake, I just asked they honor it. It wasn't a week later, it was minutes later.

As a business owner who recently signed up to accept Spaweek gift cards, I want to warn others: do not make the same mistake. You’ll redeem your client’s gift card, but Spaweek will never pay you.

Customers: If you’ve been wondering why spas don't accept their gift certificates—this is why: Businesses aren’t getting paid. I've been calling and trying to get paid for almost two months...other business I know have been battling to get their payment for almost 5 months.

Protect your business. Avoid Spaweek.

I received a generous $200 giftcard from them but when I went to redeem none of the spas in the Chicago suburbs that they listed either took the giftcard or were even open. The website is not up to date. Customer service was also not helpful. Do not buy giftcards from them - you will not be able to redeem!

I live in a county with a population of 3 million and numerous wellness and spa establishments. I got a gift card so I thought I would go and select a location from the locations listed on their website to redeem my gift card. There are approximately 50 listings within a 10-mile radius. And guess what? NONE of these locations accept the gift card, and some of them do not even exist! Do not buy giftc ard from spaweek!!!
