Very poor customer service and communication

Today I discovered that an order for POD T-shirts via Spreadconnect on my Squarespace website was held for some alert. The order was placed last week and I have not received any emails or other communication from Spreadconnect about this. When I contacted the customer service chat and was eventually able to connect with a human, they could not solve or even explain the problem. They had me cancel and reorder the Tees- which I was unable to do.
Instead I ordered samples to go directly to the client (my idea, not the agents) but so far the order is waiting for production. The agent I spoke to assured me she would expedite the printing of the Tees by talking to the floor manager, but there is not indication that this is happening.
When I asked about expediting the shipping as well they declined to add that.
I am so disappointed with Spreadconnect and cannot recommend them. Terrible customer service.

Compte Etsy en suspend à cause d’eux.

Je vend sur différentes plateformes de POD et spreadconnect est le pire. Retard à chaque fois sur les délais de production, mon compte Etsy a été mit en suspend à cause d’eux et ça fait vraiment pas sérieux pour les pauvres clients qui commandent et qui doivent être inquiets. On en est à 2 jours de retard et pas de nouvelles d’eux actuellement. Donc j’ai un client qui a commandé il y a 4 JOURS et qui n’a toujours pas de suivi ! Aussi j’ai passé une commande en «  inconnu » comme si j’étais un client et j’ai reçu le produit dans une enveloppe style vendeur chinois en plastique gris clair alors que soit disant nos clients reçoivent des enveloppes craft. Il rajoutent plein de frais sur le prix affiché on se retrouve à payer presque parfois plus de 10/20€ de frais cachés par article. Quand vous voyez genre 35€ le pull ben il faut prévoir en plus 20% du prix + 10% sur les frais de port ??? Des taxes sur les frais de port ? Sérieux ??? Il ne me proposent même pas de geste commercial alors que ce n’est pas la première fois que ça arrive. Aucun professionnalisme.

Best POD I tried so far

I'm not sure why SPOD has so many bad reviews on trustpilot, but so far it has been the best POD service I've used. Before this, I tried Printful, Printify, Gelato, and Shirtigo, and I had different kinds of issues with all of them.

The Shopify synchronisation with SPOD works seamlessly, the shipping is the fastest among all the PODs I've used, and they automatically switch between DTF and DTG printing—I wonder if based on colour intensity.. This is amazing because, for the first time, my product colours are as bright and strong as I want them to be!
Also, their customer support has been reliable—I’ve always received a response within a maximum of two days.

The only thing which I miss with this POD is that I can’t have any branding with the packaging. I really hope they will work on that!

Unreliable, probably scam. Stay away!

I created some shirts with SPOD and listed them on eBay. I recently made my first sale, but the order is awaiting production and there has been no status change. They promise shipping within 48 hours (except on bulk orders), but this time has already passed.

I contacted customer support via chat to ask when the order would be shipped because my customer is waiting for a tracking number. However, the chat just sends an email, and you have to wait hours for a response. Despite having my account data, they require the order number to find my order. I have only ONE order so far! This is just lazy customer support trying to buy time. I sent my order number yesterday, and there is still no response or update on the order.

So, I will cancel the order and close the account because I don’t want them to ruin my reputation on eBay. As someone else here wrote: They don’t print on demand; they print when they feel like it. In my eyes, this company is just a scam. Stay far away from it.

Edit:

I have canceled the order, closed my account, and issued a refund to my customer. At least someone here kept their word.

Additionally, you emailed me afterward, stating that you couldn’t help me because I had canceled my order. However, on Trustpilot (after I received your email), you are pretending that you haven’t noticed my cancellation yet and that you are resolving the problem. This is truly false and dishonest.

I have been using SPOD since 2021

I have been using SPOD since 2021. I haven't had issues with the company until recently. For the first time in 3 years sample products I ordered were lost in transit. I contacted customer service and was told I would be receiving a refund. This occurred in May and it is now July and I still haven't received a refund. I attempted to contact the company by phone, no answer and by email and they have been ignoring my emails. Customer service is extremely important in every business and after 3 years of supporting this company I am officially done with it nor will I recommend them to anyone!
Update: The dispute has been rectified and my money was refunded.

not even worth trying

terrible customer support. (cant reach them via phone or mail). They take ages to process packages.
+bad mockups
+no branding options
+expensive
I will switch now to another provider
edit: they have been saying for years that they will add branding options and nothing happened. Also I think its funny that they answer faster on trustpilot than at their customer support.

App is good but I am a new business and…

App is good but I am a new business and have 3-4 orders in production for about 12 days now. They are still in production - ordered on the 3rd of November. When will it be shipped to get to customer. I will not like customers to a new business to be restless. I emailed support - no response.

Order production never started

The order has been «awaiting production” for so long that the order didn’t reach my customer in time neither for Christmas nor for new year celebration despite “Express” delivery. Had to cancel the order and go to another POD service which is indeed “on demand” and not “we print when we feel like doing that”.

Very disappointed

Thank you for your review. We are sorry for the misunderstanding. According to our system, your order had not been produced as you had not completed the account verification required prior to production. All accounts with SPOD must complete account verification before we are able to print or ship any orders.

Unfortunately I have been unable to use…

Unfortunately I have been unable to use SPOD due to an issue with their website not accepting payments.

Going back and forth with them has been somewhat painful as they keep telling me it is my card provider even though my card provider has assured me no transactions have been blocked and there are no restrictions on my card. Might as well talk to a brick wall. Account deleted and will be finding another provider for US orders.

Limited experiance

The backend of SPOD is limited as the catalogues is compared to its competitors.

The asset manager needs to be upgraded, if you have a lot of assets it is not easy to manage.

You guys made heavy use of AJAX but it isn't working well with the dashboard as you can loose information.

we need bulk publish as adding per product is time taking, this also comes because the publishing is really really slow.

SPOD deleted all our products

DON’T USE IT. We had to close our webshop due to SPOD deleting all products (over 130!) without any communication. This is their answer when I contacted customer service:

Thank you for your email.

We’re very sorry to inform you that the products were deleted by our devs due to an ugly bug they found.

Unfortunately, the products had to be deleted for good to get rid of this bug. According to them, you would have to create your products again.

Supporto per nulla volenteroso nell'aiutare.

Ho installato il loro plugin e ho contattato il loro supporto per avere informazioni sulle classi di spedizione.
Gli altri plugin di print on demand si integrano bene con woocommerce. SPOD invece non crea le classi di spedizione, bisogna inserirle manualmente!
Ho cercato di capire quali sono le loro classi di spedizione in modo da impostarle manualmente con l'ausilio di altri plugin. L'assistenza mi ha risposto che devo andare a vedere le FAQ di woocommerce.

Ovviamente ho disinstallato subito tutto.
Questa è la mia esperienza.
