I ordered two pistols and a box of Ammo. I thought shipping was free but it was not. They charged me for all three items. Then after payment split my one order into two orders and charged very high shipping They also had double charges on my credit card for a while.. I found them to be deceptive and will just use Gunbroker next time.

"a lot of people had a great experience" but not me. I ordered a new .380 handgun, and the slide release does not function properly. The slide was super hard to get off, and it will not go back on, so the gun is useless. The customer service at sportsmans did nothing except tell me that i have to go directly to the manufacturer, who does not answer phone calls, and did not return 3 calls and message.

This is a repeat order of 1000 rounds of Win ammo. I was charged $19.99 for select shipping (2-3 business days) and they have NOT shipped after 6 days--they are closed on Sat. There is NO communication from them about the order. I should have learned from the first order of their poor customer service. Do not order anything from Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore! They are the very worst gun/ammo site on the entire innernet!

To anyone thinking of ordering from sportsman outdoor superstore do not waste your time or money I purchased a rifle from them and it’s been an absolute nightmare I was suppose to receive a Henry lever action 45-70 and instead they send me a Henry single shot 45-70 . I attempted multiple times to contact them to resolve the issue but there customer service is an absolute joke the Henry lever action was posted at a very low price I called to confirm it was legit and was reassured multiple times it was so I placed the order they had the wrong gun marked down and instead of saying they made a mistake they send a complete different firearm then what I ordered .they offered a refund but said it would take 30 days from the day they received the firearm back to process it. The customer service rep I talked to refused a supervisor and eventually hung up the phone I don’t understand how a place like this stays in business the way conduct there self. I’m currently filing a claim with better business bureau and speaking with an attorney to see what my options are but do yourself a favor and just order from buds guns or a legitimate company that’s cares about there customers

The product was delivered on time and in good condition. I love the look of this 1851 Navy black powder pistol. However I have had some issues. The nipple wrench is junk. I purchased another on fro traditions and it was junk as well. The tiip of the wrenches broke off when trying to remove the nipples for cleaning. So I have now ordered on from a different manufacturer in the hope I can get the nipples removed

They sell items they don’t have in inventory and then tell you a month after you’ve placed your order. Still trying to get my money back. Worst seller I have ever done business with.

It is a reliable and legal site for buying outdoor gear and firearm retailer.. they have good prices and also good quality products .. shipping is good also and customer service is good but often there is some delays but it is ok it happened in any site so overall its a good site for buying and its good also to check terms and conditions befor purchasing..

Super slow shipping. Website says 5-7 days for shipping, but what they don't tell you is that it's 5-7 business days for them to put a few items in a box, THEN they ship it, so you have another few days or a week to wait. All in all, i'm estimating 2 weeks from.placing order to receiving. Plus side is that the prices are pretty good. Next time I'll pay a little more and buy from someone with modern shipping facilities. Update-received notice on 1/12/26 around 8:30am that my items had shipped...however USPS shows that a label was created. I'm thinking, "Finally!" No further movement that day. On 1/13, around 8:30pm, I receive notice that USPS finally has my package. So it took the better part of two weeks for them to put 4 of the same item in a box and create a label, then 36 hours to make it from the label sticker-onner guy to the hands of USPS. I could have driven to OH from WY and back multiple times in 2 weeks, and these people can't ship out a box of gun cleaner. During that time i sent 3 emails with no response, and made one phone call which was pointless.

First time ordering from this company. Ordered "in stock, ready to ship" item. 7 days later has not shipped and after several attempts to message them, no response. Finally messaged me after I cancelled order. Would not do business with them.

I purchased 23 boxes of Rio 12 gauge buckshot rounds , the first time shooting Rio ammo every round jammed, I tried to return 21 boxes of sealed rounds for a refund but sportsman outdoors refused to refund or even swapping for another brand, I dont recommend buying large ammounts of ammo from this company since they dont stand behind the products they sell , do not buy Rio shotgun rounds or bulk ammo from sportsman outdoors at all. Be smart people.
