Our dear driver, Sujeewa, was honestly the best decision we made for our trip to Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, we could just relax and enjoy the journey without worrying about logistics, routes, or planning.
Sujeewa is an excellent driver, always calm, safe and professional, which made the long drives very comfortable. But what really made the difference was how much he shared with us along the way. He knows the best places to visit, great activities to do, and he explained so much about the history, culture and daily life of Sri Lanka. It made the whole experience far more meaningful.

He also took care of us throughout the trip almost like a father would — always making sure we were comfortable, had what we needed, and that everything was going smoothly.
Thanks to him, our trip felt easy, authentic and truly unforgettable.

Great preparation for our trip, communication with the company was swift and accommodating. Trip planned well, hiccups on route sorted promptly. A couple of the hotels were below requested quality but changed afterwards.

Sujeewa , our Driver was a real bonus to our trip, with knowledge, tips , and fantastic patience as we added " extra stops/ requests" etc along our journey of five different stop overs.
He always was punctual, helpful and polite, and was so eager for us to have a great trip.

The whole experience from start to finish was excellent and I would highly recommend this company! When starting to plan my trip to Sri Lanka with my parents, I reached out to a number of “private driver” companies and Sri Lanka Private Driver stood out on reviews as being the best rated. The booking was easy- they were easily contactable and responded efficiently.

We received a WhatsApp the day before arriving with our drivers name and we had Sujeewa as our driver for the duration of our stay. He met us with a kind and friendly smile at the airport, and it was the perfect start to a perfect trip. Sujeewa made us all feel super comfortable, he was an excellent driver making us feel safe and he was very knowledgeable about everything related to Sri Lanka! We had some long journeys and Sujeewa was always accommodating to our needs. By the end of the trip, (around 2 and half weeks) we really felt like Sujeewa had become part of the family, and if we return, we would not hesitate to travel with him again. We have just completed a thoroughly enjoyable 14 days touring Sri Lanka with Sri Lanka Private Driver. We have just spent 9 days with Razik our fabulous driver. During that time he was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. He navigated some very steep difficult roads and got us to our destinations safely. We would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to visit Sri Lanka. He spoke excellent English and answered all our questions regarding the Sri Lankan culture and way of life. He recommended many places to visit. He made our holiday very enjoyable.

We had the most wonderful 12-day trip to Sri Lanka. We stayed in Habarana, Kandy, Ella, Yala, and Weligama, which was a perfect setup to explore this beautiful country. The first six days were spent in the central highlands (including a safari), followed by six relaxing days along the coast.

One hotel that truly stood out during our trip was Naomi Beach Resort in Weligama—an adults-only beachfront boutique hotel with an amazing view, excellent food, a wonderful ambiance, and outstanding service.

This trip would not have been possible without the tremendous help from Rashmi at the head office. From the very beginning, she was incredibly supportive in planning our itinerary, and throughout the trip she assisted us with suggestions and bookings for activities and restaurants. She always responded immediately, was very polite, and consistently did her best to accommodate our requests.

Our driver, Herath, was also wonderful. He was friendly, flexible, and very helpful, with great patience. He took excellent care of us—making us feel safe at all times while still giving us privacy.

We already miss Sri Lanka and truly hope to return to this wonderful country in the future. Thank you!

Wow Wow Wow. Pulasthi our driver was absolutely fantastic. He was a star from start to finish and had the best sense of humour. Informative about everything to do with Sri Lanka and he was very flexible with all our timings. He stopped many times for us to try the best fruit enroute as well as obtained great tickets to the Kandy traditional dancing. We always felt comfortable and safe and will definitely return to Sri Lanka and ask for him. A lovely family man who made our time memorable.

We spent 12 days travelling around Sri Lanka with Prasad as our driver, and I honestly can’t imagine the trip without him. From the first day, he was friendly, reliable and always right on time. He helped us plan each day in the best possible way — suggesting when to visit certain places, where to eat, and even when it’s better to skip a stop to avoid crowds.

He knows the island inside out and shared so many interesting things along the way. Driving in Sri Lanka isn’t easy, but with him we always felt completely safe and relaxed, even on mountain roads or in busy towns.

One of the nicest memories was when we decided very early in the morning to go to Sigiriya. I called him around 5 a.m. and he was there in minutes, cheerful as always, ready to take us.

Prasad isn’t just a great driver — he really cares. He checked if we had enough water, if we were tired, and made sure everything went smoothly. We are very grateful for his kindness and would recommend him to anyone travelling in Sri Lanka.

From the moment we contacted the agency, we received a quick and helpful response, they helped us create a route and assigned us upul, a charming and smiling driver, always ready to help, flexible and adapts himself to our needs and requests, knowledgeable in the area and knows how to recommend restaurants and hotels. AMAZING & SAFE DRIVER/GUIDE EXPERIENCE

We contacted Sri Lanka Private Driver, when still in Denmark, and Shiyan was very helpful with arranging the route and Pick up at the airport.

We felt very lucky when arriving in Sri Lanka and was giving Upul as our driver for 7 days. He was not just our driver, but felt more like guide and friend. VERY safe driving, and helped us with everything. Arranging hotels, safaris, train-tickets, made restaurant reservations and made sure that we saw everything we wanted on the 1 week tour to sigiriya, Ella, Yala and Mirissa. Everywhere Upul had friends/contacts, so he could help ud arrange all that we wanted.

I made contact with the company and everything was easy. I did a 6 day trip with Upul who picked me up in Midigama, did all the major spots and ended in Sigirya and then Colombo Airport. Upul had fantastic recommendations for activities and local authentic places to eat and even adapted the itinerary on the spot to my tastes and challenged me to wake up early and do more than I was expecting. I always felt safe with Upul's smooth driving, so safe that I felt asleep many times in the passenger seat. The car was always clean and had good AC and had space to keep my surfboard safe. I highly recommend this company and Upul.

We used this company for a 12 day trip travelling round Sri Lanka - from Colombo, down the west coast to Yala, Ella and Sigiriya.
Our driver Upul was greatly knowledgeable on local sites and stop offs along the way - he recommended and helped to book restaurants, surfing lessons, and an elephant safari that was a highlight of the trip. We felt totally safe and relaxed in his car at all times, despite driving through some tropical weather conditions.
