Not that great
The small words were not legibly printed, but they showed up fine on the original art. Also, many areas were pulled away from the backer sheet on the big design.

The new AI system
The new AI system for DTF has not worked well for us.
I was not pleased that we were blamed for the mistakes. The previous system was NEVER an issue.
I can deal with technical issues but not the blame game.

Background issue
I sent in 2 vector files with a similar design that should have had a clear background. We received the order and I glanced at the two designs, which look great, but they were on a grey background. I thought the design would come off of this background and that this color was just on the roll. Now we have 200 designs that look awful.

A Decline In Service
Shipping prices increased, receiving times are longer, no notice that the ultramax prints are now cold peel (damaged a few prints), print prices have increased and never receive any discounts for preferred customer who have spent a significant amount of money with Stahls.

Very unhappy - I feel I was baited then switched.
I purchased a Hotronix heat press from Stahls last year and went to their website to find smaller platens for it. I found a 3-platen bundle, added it to my cart along with 3 platen covers and checked out. I received a confirmation email thanking me for my order.
The next day I received a call from Stahls saying that they were cancelling my order because I could not order a 3-platen bundle without also ordering a Hotronix heat press because it was part of a promotion. They insisted that the only way to get the 3-platen bundle was to purchase the heat press. Though polite, they would not budge and insisted on canceling my order.
I don't know why they would have a three-platen option in their drop-down list of available platens and then allow it to be added to the cart and then allow it to be purchased if they didn't intend for it to be purchased in that way?
To be fair, I noticed the mention of a platen promo with purchase of a heat press in a cycling sequence of information at the very top of their website, but since I didn't need a heat press, I didn't explore the promo. I just went to the platen section and in the drop-down list of available platens, found a 3-platen bundle of smaller platens and added them to my cart. There was no red flag in my cart saying I had to add a heat press, and nothing that prevented me from placing the order. The first I knew this was not allowed was when they called me the next day.
They said they could honor the order of the platen COVERS, just not the 3-platen bundle. Covers are pointless without platens to put them on, so I asked them to cancel those too.
The next day after that, I received a 2nd call from Stahls to tell me the platen covers shipped before they could cancel them and that I would be charged unless I sent them back. They said they'd email me a return ticket and that once they received the returned covers, they would refund me for their purchase. The hassle of having to find a UPS store and spend gas and precious time to return them adds to my frustration.
It's been several days and I still haven't received the return ticket, but the covers arrived today. As much as I really don't want to deal with Stahls ever again, I'm going to have to call tomorrow to ask them to please email that return ticket. The cover order alone is $175 - not an amount I can afford to shrug off.
