Cavendish Square Starbucks was…

Cavendish Square Starbucks was absolutely shocking. The worst coffee I have ever tasted. It was like hot water. I complained and after receiving a sullen rude face, reluctantly I was offered another shot of coffee. The result was still very a very weak black coffee that had hardly any taste.
The staff were very rude and were complaining how busy they had been. My wife asked for oat milk in her tea and it was absolutely drowned. Both my wife and I could not finish our drinks and walked out disgusted.
We should have gone to Costa or Prets. Never again will I go to Starbucks.

Near impossible to raise a complaint issue

Could a company make it any more difficult to contact customer services, no longer has a working customer service phone number and online link simply takes you round in circles rather than call up the "submit a request" form! Obviously not interested in providing customer care! Without prejudice.

Too much trouble

The tea was cold, and the cup was only two-thirds full. My order was forgotten, and I had to return to the counter twice. The staff are under stress and without supervision spend their time talking about shift patterns and who works with whom. At £6.15 for a piece of cake and a cup of cold tea Starbucks is too expensive. I take it that Starbucks are milking the franchisees, who have put up their prices to balance the books. And the customer? Take last place, and pay up.

I was served by a lovely lady today…

I was served by a lovely lady today called vic at Barry store, 10 out of 10 service, she was kind, & chatty I really over the moon with the service I have received. She also went above and beyond, and I couldn’t be any more happier customer for life. Thankyou vic you really did make my day a better one ☝️

I went here with my friend today we usually love a Starbucks as a treat however the sandwich was still soggy and my drink was watery and I found a hair on the top whilst drinking it I was very appalled I sadly won’t be spending my money here again

Awful coffee

Awful coffee, food dry stale and tasteless, awful attitude of staff. Given half a cup of froth and half a cup of coffee. What have they done to the coffee taste disgusting, left an awful after taste. Staff no smiles or a happy hello. All I ever see is them talking to themselves through those headsets.

Tasteless waste of money.

Strawberry drink for my nine year old autistic son did not taste of strawberry plus the so called salted caramel frappe was just strong flavour of coffee and both rather pricey. Everything has trebbled since covid, but these drinks were not as described and no value for money.

Won't use again

Possibly the worst customer service of any company I've ever experienced in the UK. No phone numbers, email takes days, twitter replies take days. Advertise products they don't sell on the app and just randomly replace them with other products. Was charged in a shop instead of getting a refund on my last visit. Have used quite a lot and had a loyalty card. Card is getting cancelled and won't be back in any of their shops. Absolutely awful company.

Wet in for a coffee with my friend and…

Wet in for a coffee with my friend and her husband a 4 or 5 years old boy was running around the shop running up to dogs my friends husband had to tell no not to touch the dog for fear of the dog not being happy with how the child approach it we couldn't see the parents for this bot to supervise wat he was doing. The child was jumping on seating and being a nuisance. I told him to stop it because he was doing it near us. That was 2 weeks ago. I gone in today. To meet my friend again and the child parent who works there approach me and was very confrontational to me and my friend about way I spoke to the child. The excuse she gave she couldn't get child care because it was a inset day at school. And the manager ok for him to be there I asked her wat if they been a accident and the child burnt himself. All she said to that was they got liability insurance but my reaction was the child could have been hurt. She's told us to drink up and leave. Not good customer relations

Starbucks Butter Market/King's Road

Starbucks Butter Market/King's Road, Reading, United Kingdom:

Asked for a Small Black Americano I was asked if it was take away or to have in. I asked to have it in. I got charged an extra 5p than advertised. The server did not asked if I wanted my coffee in a takeaway cup. Charged me for it. I did point out I did not ask for a take away cup. I asked to have it in. Supervisor came over to help with my request. I explained that I didn't ask for a takeaway cup, I asked to have my coffee in, I got charged for take away cup, I explained I asked for it in means I wanted a normal cup. She said I am not a regular visitor (should not be an excuse) so the server didn't know and people do have coffee inside and ask for it to be in a takeaway cup. I said yes they do but I didn't ask for a paper cup in the first place. When I trying to explain how bad the service was or I had a good response to her. She said I had an attitude problem and would get her manager to ban me. Also there are other starbucks in town. I replied I am aware of Reading (Town we are in). She said it has been busy today, I explained it doesn't matter its the service your giving to customers. It's not the about the 5p it's the principle. Once my refund was given and my coffee was made for me the barrister said sarcastically Black Americano in a "Ceramic Mug".

To be threatened with a store ban for pointing out bad service and not giving a customer full information at the till. Coming out with counter arguments to Supervisor is ludicrous. I'd expect that threat for more severe behavior from a customer.

At no stage I said anything about the person personally or was swearing. Yet I feel like I was treated like I did.

Well here we are again

Well here we are again. Another company showing nothing but contempt for their customers. I’m talking about Starbucks. One branch in particular based on Sealand road in Chester.
The last thing I want is to walk into this branch In the morning to be met my staff who work there to have nothing but miserable faces. Ok if your not happy there don’t work there that’s the answer and find a job where your not dealing with the public. I go there to Perk my morning up not have to look at miserable gobs. Even when I joked with the staff about them not smiling they looked at me stupid not even laugh a little bit. Seriously Starbucks you could learn a lot from costa on Sealand road in Chester where the staff there are very friendly very chatty and welcoming. It doesn’t cost your staff Starbucks to have a sense of humour. I’ll be sticking with costa from now on if your staff can’t at least smile and be friendly chatty and welcoming

Paying for coffee cup

Ordered a flat white, price of drink showed £3.40. Charged £3.45, when asked why was told I had to pay for the cup. Appalling. Won't be going to Starbucks again.

Starbucks Hooley, is in a very convenient location. The staff are excellent at their jobs and lovely people.

Dunball starbucks dont go…

Went to Starbucks new place on dunball roundabout what a joke got there about 10.30 place was a mess floor dirty with crumbs and tables disgusting had to ask for ours to be cleaned.. we were the only people in there...older lady in there shouting at the other 2... shouted when our food was ready to come and collect... we just wanted a quiet chat and coffee and all you could hear was her shouting and telling someone to shut up... Bridgwater sainsburys Starbucks have lovely staff and very helpful.. won't be going back there again until they change staff...

No points yet again from the clowns at the Wellingborough restaurant

Wellingborough Rossetti Starbucks staff are completely useless to be honest. I’m keeping well away from now on . They haven’t even been trained I don’t think . Every time I go there not once do I get my points . Plus this time I get charged £3.90 for a medium Americano . I think I’m just going to stick to Costa fro. Now on , even their customer services is completely rubbish no response from any mail you send them. I think Starbucks UK needs to be more customer friendly and then I might return.

Lovely frappes but atrocious prices

£6.50 I paid for a large frappe. It's a twice a year treat as I don't have a local near me but I've never been charged that much before and it's the same coffee I always order. I swear half of these branches charge extra for cream and syrup when it's meant to be included. The drink was nice but £6.50 for one drink is still criminal, not to mention the god awful paper straw became defective after 2 minutes.

Nonexistent Customer Service

When to pick up order at Starbucks and when I asked where my reusable cup were, was told sorry you don’t get any because we didn’t get any. Once again Starbucks using email enticements for business. When I asked for a refund I got the snotty response, “You ordered on the app so you get it through the app”. Sent in a refund request through web system as they do not have a telephone number anymore and still no reply after two weeks!!! Another company now hiding behind chat systems and automated services. Do not buy from Starbucks as there is no customer service. Complete joke!

Refused service as I did not want to give my name

I understand that it is important to identify who has ordered which coffee due to preferences and allergies such as lactose or nut allergies, however, I was refused service when purchasing a lemonade and a sandwich as I did not want to give my name. I was told this was so my order would not get mixed up with someone else’s. The cafe was very quiet and there was no one behind me at the till. I said I would wait for my food at the counter. But was told I could not be served without giving my name. As I was not prepared to do this, I left.
