Sterkowski has become one of my go‑to hat maker. I’ve bought several of their hats, and the quality has been flawless every time — great fit, durable construction, and real attention to detail. Their customer service deserves five stars on its own; despite being in Canada, I always get fast, courteous, and genuinely helpful responses. Absolutely top‑tier company.

Bought 2 docker hats,both hats received exceed 56cm and exhibit inconsistencies in sizing.
Didn't return as I had to pay and decided to pay for an alteration from a tailor at that point.
Keep in mind!! Sizing never the same and no quality and measurements control before dispatch!!

I fell down the rabbit hole of Sterkowski caps over a period of two months in May and June 2026. Be aware that you too, if you order just one, may not be able so stop ordering. The customer service is responsive, the shipping is wicked fast and reliable to Canada, and the quality is top notch. Having discovered the company during their 100th Anniversary (which meant they were introducing all sorts of special editions) was an added bonus. I explored the Peaky caps— true Peaky Style with lots of “flop” off the side, perfect for round Irish faces— one in a bright grey Harris Tweed and one in a gorgeous Peat Moss Green Magee Donegal Tweed. A truly stunning cap. I explored a few Shelby caps, including one in a rich Atlantic Blue Magee Donegal Tweed, as well as a few of the Alex Style caps in various colours of Harris Tweed (including a new yellow and green colour which is stunning). I also ordered their special edition “Radio Days” cap in a gorgeous black-grey herringbone Abraham Moon wool- a distinguished and distinctive cap almost appropriate for a black-tie evening. Not one cap has disappointed. The caps are true to size— measure your head carefully as instructed and you should end up with the correct size. Highly recommended.

I really like the designs and they are very well made. I just hade a bad experience where I bought a shelby in vaxed cotton. The fit and style looked awsome, the bad thing was that the seam that goes in the middle of the forehad ha a big gap, no other seam had this. I addressed this with the company and they said: that this gap will happen with the cotton kind materials and linen materials... And that was it... So be careful of witch material you choose. Stay away from cotton and linnen...

I own a Sterkowski Docker cap. Everything about it, the fit, the material, the delivery boxing (Made in Poland from 100% new wool from the Outer Hebrides, Scotland, with what looks to be a cotton lining), says quality. I'm very impressed with the workmanship that went into this cap. Highly recommended.

I purchased a couple of hats from Sterkowski - a 'Danube Mod 4' peaked cap and a 'Rebel' leather beret - and the hats are clearly made by true artisans with a deserved 100 year heritage. Their timeless 'workwear' design is incredibly stylish and suitably on-trend. The quality of the materials used and attention to detail in their manufacture is exceptional and I've appreciated the warmth the hats have provided during a recent cold spell. The pricing is extremely competitive and represents great value for money. Added to this, the customer service has been delightful, with incredibly helpful staff reflecting the caring ethos of an historic, family-run business!

Ich bin durch Zufall auf Sterkowski aufmerksam geworden. Die Kappe ist heute angekommen und ich muss sagen die Qualität ist absolut erstklassig! Geiles Teil! Auch der Versand aus Polen lief super schnell! War bestimmt nicht die letzte Kappe.

Habe mir eine Dokker Cap ausgesucht, wichtig für mich war die Wollqualität Harris Tweed aus den Schottischen Hebriden.
Passform und Sitz hervorragend. Wenn man dann noch die Familiengeschichte der Stankowskis liest hat man beim Kauf ein gutes Gefühl.

The store offers all kinds of headwear imaginable. What I consider a big plus is the range of hat sizes. As someone with a relatively large head, I sometimes have trouble buying caps. Sterkowski offers a full size range up to 62 cm, and in some cases even up to 64 cm.

I was pleased with the look and quality of the cap model I ordered. From a marketing perspective, I also really liked the box in which the item arrived.

My only minor criticism is related to the logistics. I ordered premium shipping for a fairly high fee, and I’m used to receiving items within 24 hours even from more distant European destinations. Here it took a bit longer, but that’s just a small suggestion for improvement.

Die Schiebermütze stinkt widerlich nach Chemie , es ist kein Stoff sondern Plastikfaser. Ich will sie zurück geben.
Kein Retourenaufkleber oder ähnliches dabei . Man soll es auf eigene Kosten ins Ausland nach Polen schicken !

Ich habe mir von Sterkowski eine Schiebermütze geholt. Leider ist der Stoff eingefallen, so dass die Mütze leider nicht ihre Form behielt und nicht so gut aussah. Beim zurückschicken ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Mütze nach Polen gesendet werden muss, was zu merkbar höheren Rücksendegebühren geführt hat. Dadurch war es ein ziemlich teures Anprobieren. Hätte mir eine bessere Stabilität des Stoffes gewünscht oder günstigere Rücksendemöglichkeiten.

I discovered Sterkowski while shopping for a leather docker cap. I found and bought the 'Leon' and wear it still. Since then I have developed a fascination with the brand history as well as their product line. My collection now includes traditional and limited styles as they become available. I think I have become addicted to these gorgeous fabrics! Tremendous respect for everything this 4th generation, family operated business has accomplished and endured. My latest cap arrived just days ago and I can't wait for whats next! 100 years in business next year (2026). Should be an exciting year for the company and fans of world class headwear like myself.

Kappe aus Harris-Tweed wurde schnell geliefert, Größe und Qualität entsprechen den Erwartungen in vollem Umfang. Deutliche Hinweise auf den Stoffhersteller aus Schottland. Hält sehr gut warm beim Cabriolet fahren.
