St. John's Restaurant was the perfect place to host our event. It's beautiful decor and delicious food made it ideal for hosting 100 of our guests. I especially loved the sliders!!

Welcome to St. John's Restaurant, downtown Chattanooga's home for Southern fine dining. Since setting our table at 729 Chestnut Street, we've served seasonal, craft-driven cuisine inside one of the city's most storied historic buildings, where warm, elegant surroundings set the stage for a memorable evening. Under Executive Chef Patrick Sawyer, our kitchen changes with the seasons and leans on trusted regional partners like Gowin Valley Farms and Wheeler's Orchard. Expect dishes like seared duck breast and confit, house-made mushroom pappardelle, and jumbo lump crab cakes, each paired with craft cocktails and a thoughtfully curated wine list. Our team believes great hospitality is in the details, from the first greeting to the last course. Beyond the dining room, we host weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate gatherings, and private parties across five distinctive event spaces, from intimate wine cellar dinners to grand celebrations for up to 300 guests. Our dedicated events team handles every detail so you can focus on your guests. We're proud of the experience we deliver, and we welcome your honest feedback here on Trustpilot. Dinner is served Sunday through Thursday from 5 to 9pm and Friday through Saturday from 5 to 9:30pm. Reservations are available through Resy. Exceptional Food and Service
St. John's Restaurant was an incredible experience. It offers one of the finest dining experiences. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor, the service was attentive and professional, and the atmosphere was elegant while still feeling warm and inviting. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and I'll definitely be back.
