Servers are prepared in high quality with great QOL features. Problem is with operational stuff not giving sht about older living projects - just dead. And overall they dont manage community at all. Tolerating sht behaviours, permanent afkers and trolls with no punishment

I thought it would be as good as tauri but this time im hit with a huge performance decrease compared to retail wow or any other private server for a reason i dont know about or is the client doing some weird stuff on my pc anyway its shady . would play if performance wasnt looking like there is a crypto miner with it .

I quit retail WoW years ago at the end of MoP, because i never really felt good about paying on a monthly basis for something you can't hold in your hands + many in-game problems that i will describe below. The game purposely made it possible to harass other players, emotes for spitting on them, showing middle finger and the list goes on forever, killing important NPC's or low level players for the sole purpose of just bothering them. It's like the game are crying out to all the problem children and adults, that this is the game to play if you got low intelligence or a problematic childhood and feel like taking it out on somebody. This cost retail wow millions and about half their customers, so why would stormforge even make it possible again in their version of this game? Also the support was beyond terrible and in-game balance the same. Some classes were allways over represented since the dev's purposely made the game so some were better than others for whatever reason. The core functions of the game were changed like a million times, yet allways left some classes to be way better than the others?
Years after i quit, i decided to give the private servers a shot before making my final statement about this game, so i tried stormforge, sadly they pretty much mimic retail wow both for good and bad, problem with that is, that all the same mistakes also remade. For some reason this game attracts mostly bad manered people that will be as downright cruel as possible since the support lets stuff like that go so they won't lose custommers, evil or not. There's many bugs too, some so obvious that it makes you wonder how stormforge could have missed that. All in all, WoW was dying years ago and still is to this day, it's just getting worse day by day. My guess would be that it's mostly due to the political incorrectness players are openly allowed wield, wether it's harassment, racism or just being a bother to others, noone cares to play or pay for a game where that will happen every time you play, either to you or someone else. Generally it's time to bury WoW in the grave they dug for themselves, both retail and private servers, because there's simply way better games out there.

Absolutely DO NOT attempt to play on Stormforge. Private servers are usually not great, but this one is by far one of the worst that I've ever seen. After an abundance of bugs and server disconnects, they really hit the nail on the coffin when they did a ban wave, through which, me, probably like others, ended up being a target of it. No matter how much I pled for proof, an explanation, or to show them that I have never done this, support continues to ignore me.
I am beyond disappointed. The worst thing is that I paid money in their store for extra services, leveled 4 characters to max level, and had a raiding team depending on me.
I seriously hope no one else wastes their time with this server.
