NO STOVE GLASS, PAYMENT RETAINED - AVOID SELLER

Stove glass ordered late September. It has not arrived. Attempts to ascertain what has happened to the delivery met with rudeness, indifference and dishonesty. To date (12 November 2024) payment is still being retained - £73.97. A claim via Paypal is in progress and will be followed by further measures if no refund forthcoming. Reputedly sent via Royal Mail but no email received from them or the seller to confirm dispatch or transit - the tracking number given is not Royal Mail, so presumably made up. The seller is responsible for delivery and as such any follow up with their chosen courier; a buyer takes ownership on possession only. Ordered stove glass from a different seller on eBay - arrived two days later and much cheaper. My advice - avoid this seller!

Hi there, you have had your refund through PayPal already. As discussed, parcels can sometimes get lost in the post, you were provided with all the neseccary proof of postage and we simply asked to let us know if you still hadn't received your order after 10 working days so that we could dispatch a new one to you with express shipping. You chose to go for a more affordable delivery option with no tracking. We can only assume a parcel as been lost in the post after 10 working days as stated on our website. You chose standard delivery which is 3-5 working days. Within 5 working days after placing your order, you made a PayPal claim. We have since allowed the claim to go in your favour as you clearly did not want to follow the terms and conditions you agreed to when placing your order. We replied to all of your forms of contact in a timley manner and tried to help you as best we could. Unfortunatley, you decided to go straight to a PayPal claim, not allowing us to fulfill your order and improve your experience.

Wrong Size - disgusting follow up call. Small claims pending.

Instructions followed, however, glass was wrong size. Further compounded by being told “not our problem” after raising concern. Really poor. Will never use again. Additionally they called me to complain about this review and hung up on me. Accused me of “slander, Disgusting customer services. Pathetic. No refund for the incorrect glass. Going to small claims.

Hi Michael, you placed an order for custom shaped stove glass and we cut your glass exactly to the template provided. You then placed a second order, to which i contacted you and asked if this order required the same template or if you were sending us another. You let me know that the first peice was too big so you were sending another template. Before we had received your second template, you posted this reveiw, we have had no communication from you that there was a fault in your order. We have since received your second template which is significantly smaller than the first template you sent us. I'm sorry that you feel you have received poor service from us, if you had let us know there was an issue, we could have tried to resolve this for you. The fact you placed a second order and paid in full, followed by sending us a signifcantly smaller template to the frst one suggests that you made the original template incorrectly and trying to claim bad service was an after thought to slate our small family run business - We fulfilled your order exactly as requested. We have since refunded your second order and we wish you all the best.

Great product

Wrapped well, quick delivery. Only thing I’d say is I wish I had a notification telling me the item was shipped. Product seems good so far but has only been a week. Measurements accurate!
