WHERE DO I BEGIN?
This place sells Chinese briefs--same EXACT ones on Aliababa. Not similar; IDENTICAL in EVERY WAY. That's not the issue. They advertise on their site: Buy 7+ Pairs get 30% off and FREE SHIPPING.
I put 7 pairs in my cart, and it lists 20% off, not 30%. So I email them WITH SCREEN SHOTS. They get back to me DAYS later and ask for screen shots. I send them new screen shots. They reply, "We worked out the issues with the site. Try again." So I did. This time the discount was 15% instead of the promised 30%. So I write them back....
I get a reply that I must add 7 items to the cart. The failed to comprehend--somehow-- that I DID add 7 items to the cart, and even sent them screen shots! Then...
It gets worse. After about six rounds of this back-and-forth, they send me an invoice link with the correct 30% in the cart. $140 total. But wait! $66 in shipping! In a separate email they explain that "taxes and duties are collected up front, so they list them under shipping." Wait, what?
Their site lists products in USD currency, and their Facebook ads market to potential US buyer. How as I to know this was a company shipping from Australia, with no presence in the U.S.? There is no indication fo this in their advertising or on their website. Well, it's in the fine print on their shipping page. So asinine!
I'm so pissed that I wasted so much time with these folks.
