Superprof.com bribes people to write reviews
Superprof.com bribes people to write reviews.
Superprof.com is the LEAST effective 'music teacher-student match platform' in the world (averaging me only 4 or maximum 5 paying clients per year).
This year superprof.com purchased the very MOST effective 'music teacher-student match platform' which was Lessons.com (averaging me over 20 paying clients per year, proven year-in and year-out!) and then promptly shut Lessons.com completely down costing me tens of thousands of dollars in solid future revenue - replacing it with absolutely NOTHING!
Superprof.com created a duplicate profile on their site using my personal details culled from Lessons.com WITHOUT my knowledge or my consent, and then when I asked that they merge that new unsolicited profile with my already-existing PREMIUM superprof.com profile that I have had for years and years, they refused and told me I had to delete the new profile THEY CREATED - resulting in the loss of dozens of all my great 5-star reviews that I had cultivated in over a decade with Lessons.com.
Superprof.com engages in other unethical behavior too (qv. all the reviews complaining about their scamming "subscription" charges).
TEACHERS BEWARE! - superprof.com is NOT on your side! You won't get diddly-squat from them.
By killing Lessons.com, superprof.com has completely destroyed my business (and, by extension, my life) with their unscrupulous actions. Believe you me, I will do my utmost to return the 'favor'!

Interestingly, superprof.com claims not to create bogus profiles, but created (without permission) hundreds (if not thousands) of profiles with the information taken from EVERY ONE of the former Lessons.com teachers.
These new auto-generated profiles have an alarmingly high percentage of being duplicates or resurrected inactive accounts!
Besides auto-creating a duplicate profile from my formerly active Lessons.com account (which was linked to a different email address), superprof.com also auto-created a profile from an ancient account of mine on Lessons.com that had been inactive for eight years (linked to yet another different email).
Superprof.com has now flooded their site with these auto-created profiles, many of which are duplicates, or dead accounts - which my personal examples above prove.
It's easy to spot these auto-created profiles, because they all have exactly the same heading, and they all charge $50.
I'm being forced to compete with ghosts who are undercutting experienced instructors' rates.
Superprof.com creates bogus profiles with AI. Yes, they do. They cannot claim otherwise.
Maybe ONE day they will go in and clean out all the inactive trash that they created when they gave EVERY Lessons.com teacher a superprof.com profile, but at the moment it's just a huge mess for both students and teachers.
Students are trying to contact teachers which don't even exist, and teachers are being lowballed by a high percentage of fake profiles.
