What a delightful nursery, we popped in yesterday and loved the place. Great, friendly and knowledgeable staff who couldn't have been more helpful. Excellent value and plenty of choice plus the show gardens are a real inspiration. Swallows is now our go to nursery and also great for coffee and cake plus delicious ice cream

Amazing customer service and knowledge about plants! This is a proper nursery/garden centre (no clothes toys and general ‘tat’ for sale here). Instead lots of ideas with miniature show gardens, healthy plants at reasonable prices. Without doubt the best nursery we have ever been to!!

Great service. A nursery being completely reinvented!

I've visited Swallows several times and have always been happy with the trees and plants I've had from them. I'm particularly impressed with Twisted Willow and Portuguese Laurel hedge that they have supplied.

A little over a year ago the nursery changed hands and the new owner has set about transforming the site. I visited over the weekend and was astounded with the amount of change over the past 6 months. The new inspiration gardens are well worth seeing and the quality and range of plants has gone from strength to strength.

Finally, I have to comment on the staff. Everyone I've spoken to is knowledgable, friendly, helpful and excited about the transformation they are going through. Well worth visiting now and keeping an eye on Swallows for the future!

I have had no problems at all with swallows. I've had lots of trees including many yews, red hawthorn, cherry, cedar, cornus etc plus beautiful roses and other perrenials that have all done well.

I bought six bare-root Prunus Beni Yutaka from Swallows Nursery. The next year they turned out not to be that variety. Swallows replaced them the next winter however these in turned out not to be the right variety either. Lost two years growth. Unable to recommend. It may be their supplier but you risk losing two years growth buying from Swallows Nursery.
Two stars rather than one as the money paid was refunded. Owner, Chris, seems a nice person but if you want to get what you order think carefully before using.
