Unser Zimmer ließ sich nicht abschließen – zusätzlich war an der Haustür des Hotels auch kein Schloss, sodass jeder unkontrolliert das Gebäude betreten kann.

Die Hotelleitung wurde telefonisch informiert (es gibt vor Ort keine Rezeption), ein Handwerker wurde versprochen aber kam nie. Ein Ersatzzimmer wurde verweigert. Das Hotel reagiert nicht auf unsere Mails.

Wer als Frau reist: Absolut mangelhafte Sicherheit, ein Zimmer nicht abschließen zu können stellt einen starken Sicherheitsmangel dar und ist eigentlich so nicht hinnehmbar.

Wir haben uns als zwei alleinreisende Frauen extrem unwohl unter den gegebenen Umständen gefühlt

I rented this accommodation expecting a decent stay, but instead, I encountered an uninhabitable room with a fetid odor—like a mattress soaked in years of neglected sweat. I barely spent 30 minutes in the room before it became impossible to breathe. Worse still, when I reached out for help, the vendor was completely unwilling to resolve the issue. Save yourself the headache and avoid this property at all costs.

The advertised Swiss Star California "delux studio" in Zurich with pictures on Booking.com website turned out to be entirely different, nothing like shown in pictures, missing furniture, damaged table, a fridge in the room to replace the broken one in the kitchenette and the alternate studio one flight up had a broken glass shower door that was a safety hazard. We could not stay there and the property refused to honour their initial response for a refund, forcing us after many attempts to dispute the matter with Visa for services not rendered while Booking.com caved to the property without providing a reason, and only offering a small voucher for future bookings. The funds of almost $1k CAD for the 6 nights were stolen.

I asked them to give us the opportunity to enter at night, they refused, ALTHOUGH it is "self service" where you are sent a code! This is a 5 story hotel and there were rooms available as I could see on hotels.com! We came all the way from Denmark and we were incredibly tired. The employee with whom I wrote even wrote "what is your problem", because I wrote that we should have a room now and that we were incredibly tired - when you book a room online it says that you can choose your own arrival, but the employee would not answer until the morning even though he had answered at night with "what is your problem"! Firstly, it is VERY expensive for such a hotel! Secondly, the hotel is full of a lot of different people - would definitely not recommend the hotel if you have small children!
Third, their bedside lamp didn't work, their comforter inside the bed was brown, pillow was terrible! The bathroom smelled awfully like sewage. We had no parking even though they have parking behind the hotel! So you ALSO have to pay attention to that!
They don’t answer on any calls to!!!
All in all no star from here!

Virkeligt ulækkert værelse med blod på lagnet, skidt på væggene, jordslået hovedpude og generelt bare ulækkert. Det virker til at være et utrygt kvarter (vi er glade for vi ikke havde børn med). Vi kunne ikke booke en p-plads og hotellet virkede uhøflige da vi snakkede med dem, derudover beder de om ens kort oplysninger for at kunne trække pengene direkte. Vi valgte at finde et andet hotel fordi det var så ulækkert. - og vi kan ikke få refunderet pengene. Bliv væk fra dette Hotel.

I never want to have anything to do with "Swiss Star Zurich" again in my life.
Retrieval for the access PIN does not work. Emails are not responded to. We are held up on the phone and none of the employees want to remember phone calls.

The worst service I ever have experienced

There was a construction in the building so IMPOSSIBLE to stay in the apartment and the hotel dident care one single bit.

Stayed 5 days and couldn’t be in the room

The door was broken to the outside so 2 times I had to stay outside in snow and cold out side the apartment wait for 20 min to someone else went out of the building.

The hotel doesn’t pick up the phone in opening hours and their emergency number is also not responsive
